I drove over from off Lisbon ave and I saw no farmers market so I drove around the whole park and it's all the way in the back. I still almost missed it because it's very small. I had some fresh ribs and cabbage in the slow cooker and I wanted a nice fresh vegetable side to go with it, to my surprise I couldn't find anything because it was mostly flowers, greens, sweets, salsa and basically nothing veggie wise as a side dish, see my pictures. This was the most useless farmers market and all I left with was a pork egg roll that was very average.

Oh, and set your Google Maps for the exact address, as "Enderis Park" will land you blocks away, in the middle of said neighborhood.

It's probably a good idea to bring at least $20.00 if you plan on stocking up on produce. The produce is always so fresh and flavorful. I'd highly recommend getting some sugar snap peas when the summer season rolls around. They are so sweet and crunchy. I've also bought many other things like cheese curds, honey, maple syrup, flowers, and baked goods. Everything is such great quality. Parking can be difficult to find, so I'd recommend going to the farmer's market right when it opens. You'll also get better pick of the produce if you head there right at 8:00 a.m. The farmers market was located along the river years ago and I wish they still held it there. The parking lot that it is currently held in can get a little cramped. You're also ushered clockwise around the loop, so you can't really go back to a booth without making another whole lap.

They were Mac Daddy Sandwich and Soo-Eee! We 5 friends shared and tried them along with the tomato soup that comes with it. I am ready to try the other flavors at the next event. La Duc's offered the Ice Cream Sandwich which is two large chocolate chip cookies with a delicious custard center. It was solidly frozen and we let it sit for a few minutes to soften up a bit. We then broke it up with spoons and ate it in yummy chunks which is just how it should be eaten, IMHO. The evening was packed with families with infants, children, parents, friends, and all ages. This is what a summer evening should be. Kids have a large sand play area and lots of grassy areas to run wild. And the fresh products for sale inside the store are always top quality and worth purchasing. My only glitch is how loud the music is, which negates the ease of conversations. We bring a table and card games and yelling to each other is needed to converse. We sit away from the band but it is still a bit loud. Last night the music was varied in genre and fun.

Plenty of vendors selling a variety of goods. Spices, clothing, crafts, sundries, and lots and lots of food. Live entertainment on stages in front of the local bars along the street. Plenty of Farmer's market items, fresh produce, dairy, and homemade meat products. This event seems to keep getting bigger every year. Very well organized, and everyone is very kind and cooperative. Parking along the roadside, or closer parking on residential lawns for a minimal fee.

The tables are set up along the sidewalks right now, but I wonder if it will spill over into the green space around the gazebo if more vendors start taking part in the market. Today I just saw seven and they all had different offerings. The few I dealt with were cash only. Others may have card readers. I didn't ask because I didn't need anything from them. There is parking available on Franklin street, but if the spaces are full it looks like parking is available along Swiss Street. Alternatively, if it ever gains in popularity, there is definitely parking across from Wegner's Inn on St. Martins. I am a big fan of the change. The fair used to be held on the first Monday of every summer month from 6am through noon. I use the term fair loosely because it was just a few people spread out so far from each other. Definitely not what it was 15 years ago. I understand the tradition of a morning farmers market/fair, but it was so inconvenient. Now, since it is every Monday and goes until 7, I can still take part if I have to work late. It's like someone actually listened to my complaining :) There were Port-o-Johns and a wash station set up. I thought that was a nice touch in case anyone were to need a restroom. Please stop in and take advantage of this new market if you are in the area. I want it to succeed and not be reduced to just the Labor Day weekend flea-market style fair. They also have…read morean assortment of candy, a small variety of locally made bath and body products, little souvenirs, and the like. I have received their popcorn as gifts and have given it. It's delicious! People inevitably rave about it. The lady at the checkout desk the day I stopped was very friendly and helpful, which is typical.
