Brunch Berry had quite a bit of really good reviews so my husband and I decided to give it a try. We're looking for a place to have a large party brunch ,but there are no reservations on weekends so it wouldn't work out. I believe it is in a building that used to have Point Burger Bar. The Brunch Berry owners had decorated the new restaurant with a classy, chic French rustic look. I really liked the decor of the restaurant. Something to note - because the space is so open it is very loud in there and hard to have a conversation. We arrived around 9:00 a.m. and while the lot was pretty full, we were able to find a spot open to park fairly quickly. We were seated right away and served ice water and cream puffs. The staff were friendly and took our drink order right away. It took us a while to decide on what to get but once we did our food came out really quickly. Both the Lavender Raspberry Latte and cappuccino were served in a large cup and were really good. The food portions were quite large and good quality and flavor. Very glad we tried this breakfast place again. About a year ago my husband and I went and did not have a very good dining experience. Between the service and the food we weren't planning on coming back. However, this morning, we changed our minds. We had a completely different experience! I'll start by saying I'm not one for brunch. We wrapped with a project on a Sunday and wanted to swing out for a late breakfast and thought this would be a good stop. The parking lot was full so we had to go to a different lot. It was tough communicating with the hostess who took down our name wrong for the reservation, but they do send out a text when your table is ready. We were also told it would be a 30 minute wait, which was fairly accurate, maybe an extra 5 minutes. Busy brunch time, we get it. By the time we were seated, it was a little after 11:30am. The place was very busy and pretty loud with everyone talking. Our server was nice and suggested some things that she liked on the menu. Most at our table got breakfast and I got the hot honey chicken sandwich for lunch. I heard breakfast was phenomenal. I wasn't sold on the sandwich - it was slathered with hot honey making it difficult to eat without making a huge mess. The fries were also nothing special. Bottom line - maybe focus on breakfast here. Prices are a little steep but the portions are sizeable. Will definitely try again but maybe not on a weekend at prime brunch time. read more

I dined in for breakfast with my partner and really enjoyed the food. My chilaquiles were delicious and loaded with toppings. My partner ordered the chicken chorizo omelette with the cowboy potatoes and side of pancakes and that was all delicious as well. Our only complaint is the small table we were sat at by the bar was extremely wobbly so our water and coffee kept spilling if we put any weight on the table. Wow this place really is something. We've been twice now, and the winter specials this last time - the egg dish (soul sunrise bowl) was literally one of the best things I've had in a long time. The short rib was so tender and the Korean BBQ rice was just phenomenal. We also had the apple fritter French toast - it was quite sweet but amazing, and the seasonal coffees were also nice. They have complimentary stuffed beignets while you wait. On top of that, the decorated-for-Christmas vibe was so nice (little gingerbread cutout for photos of the kids) and the service was excellent. Such an expansive menu which includes all of the breakfast classics but this most recent time, I went for a lunch special and got the Salmon bowl....it was amazing. I'm not sure what I expected but truly a dish I would have expected to get at a finer dining establishment. Their coffees are also fun so I can't resist. Not my first time to this wonderful brunch/lunch place. This is a great place to enjoy delightful food and not so loud that you can't have conversations. Parking lot can get really full on the weekends. We each found a spot in the lot, but overflow parking could be in the park and ride next door. The only caveat to this is that you'd have to go out and drive around to Moorland Road to get there because the parking lots don't connect. Reservations are available during the week but not on weekends. I would hope that would change and get reversed because there can be up to an hour wait on weekends. We were lucky, only a 25 min wait when we went. The restaurant offers tables and booths so everyone's desires can be met. The food. So when I was there last time I had the pistachio stuffed French toast. I did find that to be too sweet. Having had pistachio cream in the past, it seemed like they sweetened it before squirting it on the food/plate. Too sweet for me, but otherwise delicious. My friend had the turtle French toast and felt the same way, too sweet but delicious. Our waiter was super pleasant, never acted like he was in a hurry, stopped to check on us several times. I had soda left and he offered to pack it to go! When does that ever happen? He did what he could to make sure we had everything we needed. Great service!!! Complimentary mini cream puffs with a berry compote were amazing. We started our meal with the corn fritters. I love a good fritter. These were ok. I think the fryer was a little too hot because the outside was cooked with a crisp but the inside wasn't quite there and was gummy. But the flavor of the fritter was good. Each fritter had a small dollop of a smokey bacon habenaro jam and a squeeze of crema across them all. The problem I found with this dish was that it was sweet on top of sweet. The jam was a bit over powering and the dish needed acid - maybe salsa verde. If I order this again, it would be with the jam on the side and a side of salsa verde. This time around I went for one of the seasonal specials, braised short rib & cheesy potato benedict. I questioned its benedict-ness because there's no English muffin or biscuit as the base - it's a chunk of the potato casserole as the base. It was then layered with a piece of the short rib and topped with a poached egg. There were 2 towered pieces on the plate. It was good for a cold morning but I did find it to be a little one note in flavor. There was supposed to be a couple sauces (salsa verde and matcha salsa for heat) but I didn't taste either in the dish. Maybe not enough of either. Nevertheless, the dish was good and maybe I'd order it again with extra salsa verde in the side. My friend ordered the alpine frittata and she really liked it. Everything was presented beautifully on the plates. Next time I might be inclined to order the smoked salmon benedict. That's what I was going to order until I saw the seasonal menu. Overall, I highly recommend this place and I hope it stays for a long long time. Having been there twice, I know to suit my taste I would order a little differently. Second time today to brunch berry! Restaurant was packed with a thirty minute wait on a Sunday. Well worth it! Service was great, everything came out correctly with the orders, and beautifully plated and tasty. The complimentary cream puffs are a nice touch. The hot honey is spicy for the chix and waffles, appreciated the heads up for person in our group who is sensitive to spice. I loved the veggie omelet! I also decided to get the side of cheesy and buttered grits, and this was a great combo - I would definitely recommend and get it again. My group of friends also really enjoyed their meals; they tried the pancakes and hash skillets. We even decided to get a blackberry mimosa pitcher, and we were able to get at least 3 glass pours each - great brunch deal. The restaurant was nicely decorated, has great lighting, and the seats were comfortable. This place was so good. I had the avocado toast and it was probably the best I have had. Me and my two friends were their for 6 hours and our waitress was patient and kind and very accommodating. Did not disappoint! Value 5/5 I truly always wanted to check this place out after seeing it countless times on my way to Costco. Beware this place does attract quite the crowd but they work to get you in fast. The service was incredible as they helped us order and brought the food out quickly. The food was great. I enjoyed the complimentary cream puffs and jam to start. As we watched others food come out we got excited and surely our food did not disappoint and the portion sizes were great. Wow I didn't expect this. We went for breakfast on a Saturday morning and the parking lot was jammed but we were seated right away. The menu is hug and has a ton of great and interesting breakfast entrees. I had the Chile Chorizo skillet and it was very flavorful and huge. It had lots of flavor and was server on a bed of crispy Cowboy Potatoes. Did I mention it was a huge serving! My wife had the Chilaquiles, it's Tortilla chips covered in salsa verde with avocado, jalapenos, cilantro, and Fresca queso topped with Mexican crema and she had it scrambled eggs on top. Also try flavorful and fresh ingredients. The last time we were in this space it was a Point Burger Bar and was a somewhat dark interior. That's all changed. We were seated quickly, and received A+ customer service from beginning to end. We both enjoyed the heck out of our fresh and flavorful veggie omelets. Amazing food. I ordered the pistachio french toast and a side of bacon, which were each equally incredible. Additionally, the restaurant itself is beautiful and very nicely decorated and well kept. The staff are polite, and I noticed a lot of staff on the floor, which kept service quick and efficient. Our waitress was nice, and kept us moving through our meal without rushing us. My group and I visited here on a Friday morning, so I was able to book a reservation very easily online in advance for my convenience. What a great find. We shop at the Costco off this exit and have been wanting to try this brunch spot of a while. It was so worth it. They started us off with cream puffs and jam when we sat down. Heck your items before leaving. I went back in and the order was corrected with the missing items. One of the managers checked the bag afterwards for any other issues. The containers are not great. They have paper control the food to go and become very soggy and limping after a few mins. Be careful when you take your food out. The containers can spill the items out. Could've been a 5 if not for the missing items and containers. They did offer me a drink for the trouble but no thanks. You checked if I was lying about it. My first impression was 50/50. First time here! The food was very good. They do not take reservations and the waitlist is in person only. We called ahead to see what the wait time was currently at and were informed 35 minutes which we figured wasn't too bad. There is a decent amount of seating space to wait however they text you when your table is ready so you could always go back to your car. We started with the corn fritters! Get them they were super delicious!!! I ordered the Southern Benny I liked that I could go for a more savory lunch feeling Benedict. It hit the spot and is huge. My friend really enjoyed the hot honey sandwich and stated it was a good amount of sweet and spice. We did order the crepe which I feel we could have skipped personally I've had much better and was disappointed that the filling was just in the corner! Super bummer. The green fizz drink was very delicious and refreshing. Now the seating was a bit unfortunate we thought it was great they are utilizing all their space and the chairs were comfy but we had no room for our food and beverages! We had to use the ledge for our drinks, the salt pepper, sugar packet holder and even our appetizer plates! I was very excited to try Brunch Berry! I knew it'd be packed being on Sunday and all. I saw a long line of people waiting for tables and was hesitant to put my name in. I did it anyways and only had to wait 20 minutes for a table for 3. WELLLLLL worth the wait. I had the breakfast tacos and they were packed full and the avocados were so fresh. The sauce and beans were a perfect touch too. My daughters had the Nutella French toast and funky monkey Greek yogurt bowl. They are every last bite of their food and we all left happy. Prices are great as well. For 3 meals and a pot of coffee it was only $43. I consider that a steal for the freshness and quality. I also really liked the ambiance of Brunch Berry. The food here was 10/10, but the service was unfortunately very disappointing. The atmosphere is very modern and cute. I like that they have a spacious parking lot because it seems like a popular spot. I wish they allowed reservations or at least a check-in waitlist for the weekend. We came in at 9 on the weekend, and the wait was half hour for two of us. When we sat down, we waited and waited for our server. There was a table behind us, also a party of two, that got seated after us and their server came to them before us. We waited a couple more minutes. Finally, our server came. I think her name was Allison. She seemed like she was in a bad mood. No smile, no thank you, just monotone "what can I get you," and then walked away. We put in our orders-classic benedict and chorizo omelette. When our food came, it was warm and delicious. They give you a small cream puff, which was a nice treat. I liked the house dressing that came with the side salad for my benedict. The servers at the tables next to us had their server check on them several times. However, our server was nowhere to be found. We wanted a refill because both our cups were empty, but our server did not come to check on us. I noticed all the tables around us had water carafes. Our table was the only missing one. So we had to eat our breakfasts without water. I finally flagged down our sever once it was time to get the bill and leave. I really expected more consistency in service at a place like this. If we had a different server, perhaps we would have had a better experience. read more

First the positives: bright cheery atmosphere, good coffee (I believe it's Anodyne) and service was attentive. Interesting menu with a good variety of dishes. Things that could be improved upon are the dishes themselves; taste wise they fell flat. They weren't bad just ok and they needed an extra layer of something to finish off the flavors. I would also like to see other potato options, the cowboy potatoes served with breakfast were not anything memorable. Lots of potential here and will be back to try some other dishes. read more

They must reuse their cloth napkins, at the end breakfast as I was placing my napkin on table I noticed BLOOD on my napkin-very discussed my eating utensils came to the table wrapped in that napkin. I am not a vegetarian but I got the Juliet Benedict and it did not disappoint. All the veggies flavors in the dish paired with the biscuits and eggs worked so well together to give each bite a sweet and savory taste. The side of crispy potatoes is definitely a must try, it has parmesan and subtle hints of lemon, something I didn't know I needed until now! The yogurt parfait serving was bigger than expected filled with fresh berries, crunchy coconut flakes, and drizzles of honey; there wasn't anything too notable about the dish just your average parfait. This was the new restaurant of the week so I stopped by for breakfast. Oddly the place has no sign on the front of the building next to a gas station. The place has a nice covered outdoor patio as you walk in. The inside has a nice bar with an big open space dining room. The place is nice and looks like a new remodel. I ordered a spicy Bloody Mary as I took a few minutes to look over the menu and I eventually ordered the house omelette, country potatoes with sourdough toast that came with a complementary puff of some kind and jam. My food took about 20 minutes to hit my table which is acceptable because they were packed. The house omelette is ham, sausage, bacon, mushroom, onions, tomatoes, cheddar cheese, Monterey Jack cheese with a sour cream drizzle. As I'm eating my food I tell my server to cancel my Bloody Mary because it was ordered 25 minutes ago and still not delivered, the Bloody Mary is supposed to be for me a sipper while waiting for my food to come. What looked like the owner came over and offered to give me a free one for the my order getting messes up which he did. As far as the food goes it was ok with the country potatoes being room temperature and not hot. The omelette was very good and if bacon was in it all I tasted was the ham and sausage. Same as the potatoes the cheese on top of the omelette was no longer melty and it returned to a solid so it wasn't exactly that hot cooked to order omelette but still good. The sourdough was the good kind with that nice denseness and chew. Overall my breakfast experience was average with my order miss hap and maybe I caught them on a bad day. read more
