Another successful trip to Brunch Berry. Arrived around 1030 Saturday morning - no prob getting a parking spot. There were two of us and got seated immediately. The dining area was really cold today - I didn't think to bring a jacket ‍. And per usual, it was noisy like a busy restaurant. Our waitress was the bomb. She was super attentive and checked in on us. So much to choose from and I was torn. I did decided to order off the summer menu. I had the Rosti benedict. It arrived looking gorgeous. However, I cut it right down the middle to get that runny egg yolk and where want one ...? There wasn't an egg. It seemed like it rest a scoop of maybe farmers cheese or something like that. I didn't say anything because I thought I misread the description. I looked later and realized it should have had a poached egg. Ugh. I did miss that a lot. Main reason for taking off a star - dish not made correctly. The rest of it was very good. The potatoes delish are usual. My cousin had the herb omelette with ham, the potatoes and side of pancakes. She enjoyed it and took half home for breakfast tomorrow, unless her husband finds it first. Of course we will be back to try other things in the menu. Brunch Berry had quite a bit of really good reviews so my husband and I decided to give it a try. We're looking for a place to have a large party brunch ,but there are no reservations on weekends so it wouldn't work out. I believe it is in a building that used to have Point Burger Bar. The Brunch Berry owners had decorated the new restaurant with a classy, chic French rustic look. I really liked the decor of the restaurant. Something to note - because the space is so open it is very loud in there and hard to have a conversation. We arrived around 9:00 a.m. and while the lot was pretty full, we were able to find a spot open to park fairly quickly. We were seated right away and served ice water and cream puffs. The staff were friendly and took our drink order right away. It took us a while to decide on what to get but once we did our food came out really quickly. Both the Lavender Raspberry Latte and cappuccino were served in a large cup and were really good. The food portions were quite large and good quality and flavor. Went here on a Thursday around 11am. Three of us didn't have to wait for a table, but the restaurant was very full. Portions are large, prices seem comparable to other places these days, service was ok. Server seemed like she probably had too many tables. Pancakes were great. Lots of potatoes come on the side. This is a beautiful brunch spot with a great ambience and vibe. They start you with little cream puffs which are very good, but the food went downhill from there. We both got skillets. The potatos were so dry. We had to pick pieces of skin out that were like leather. It's supposed to be 3 eggs but we both got two. I'll start by saying I'm not one for brunch. We wrapped with a project on a Sunday and wanted to swing out for a late breakfast and thought this would be a good stop. The parking lot was full so we had to go to a different lot. It was tough communicating with the hostess who took down our name wrong for the reservation, but they do send out a text when your table is ready. We were also told it would be a 30 minute wait, which was fairly accurate, maybe an extra 5 minutes. Busy brunch time, we get it. By the time we were seated, it was a little after 11:30am. The place was very busy and pretty loud with everyone talking. Our server was nice and suggested some things that she liked on the menu. Most at our table got breakfast and I got the hot honey chicken sandwich for lunch. I heard breakfast was phenomenal. I wasn't sold on the sandwich - it was slathered with hot honey making it difficult to eat without making a huge mess. The fries were also nothing special. Bottom line - maybe focus on breakfast here. Prices are a little steep but the portions are sizeable. Will definitely try again but maybe not on a weekend at prime brunch time. read more

Wow this place really is something. We've been twice now, and the winter specials this last time - the egg dish (soul sunrise bowl) was literally one of the best things I've had in a long time. The short rib was so tender and the Korean BBQ rice was just phenomenal. We also had the apple fritter French toast - it was quite sweet but amazing, and the seasonal coffees were also nice. I dined in for breakfast with my partner and really enjoyed the food. My chilaquiles were delicious and loaded with toppings. My partner ordered the chicken chorizo omelette with the cowboy potatoes and side of pancakes and that was all delicious as well. We went here on two occasions: once for breakfast and once for lunch. The building is beautiful. Both times we found parking pretty easy even though the restaurant was quite busy. We didn't have to wait long. When it came to the food, overall for most it was really good. However, I have a dairy allergy (not a sensitivity) and both times I had asked for my egg dish to be dairy free (very specific on no butter, cheese, etc.). The waitresses both sounded like they were clear on it, but BOTH times I received my meal there was cheese. I really want to like this place, but for anyone with an allergy, I would be very careful. I am always hesitant on any restaurant because of my allergy, so that is why I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried the second time. Knowing dairy ended up in my meal both times makes me cross them off of my list. I cannot take the chance. Decided to try a new to us place. Wait for 15-20 minutes which was not a problem. The hostess staff seemed very confused. Took us to the table that wasn't ready yet. So we stood there waiting. Waitress came with the complimentary cream puffs and asked if we want drinks. We order drinks and don't have plates for the cream puffs. She said she will do her best to get us or have someone bring us plates. She said they are busy and understaffed so she promise. Really. So when she brought the drinks, she handed them to us. Couldn't even put them down. That was the same with the actual food. The runner said who had this and then handed to each person. Wouldn't put it down. Their plates and coffee carafes are looking aged and beat up. When paying, we were going to pay with credit card and give a tip in cash. Get the bill and we had the tip on the table not near the bill with the credit card. The waitress reached across the table and grabbed the money that was sitting next to someone's plate. No one said it was the tip. She was just taking my credit card. Awfully bold to just grab money off the table. Who's to say that person was paying their portion of the bill. Felt very rushed. It's a shame because the food was good but service was not. For that reason we probably won't go back. We will stick with mimosa. read more

Wow I didn't expect this. We went for breakfast on a Saturday morning and the parking lot was jammed but we were seated right away. The menu is hug and has a ton of great and interesting breakfast entrees. I had the Chile Chorizo skillet and it was very flavorful and huge. It had lots of flavor and was server on a bed of crispy Cowboy Potatoes. Did I mention it was a huge serving! My wife had the Chilaquiles, it's Tortilla chips covered in salsa verde with avocado, jalapenos, cilantro, and Fresca queso topped with Mexican crema and she had it scrambled eggs on top. Also try flavorful and fresh ingredients. The last time we were in this space it was a Point Burger Bar and was a somewhat dark interior. That's all changed. We are first timers here. Brunch Berry has done a beautiful job remodeling the former restaurant. We had wings and Grilled Ceasar Salad with the grilled chicken option. Large grilled romaine lettuce leaves were difficult to cut in a bowl. Maybe better to serve the two large romaine halves on a plate. I was disappointed the chicken breast slices were very dry. The staff are polite, and I noticed a lot of staff on the floor, which kept service quick and efficient. Our waitress was nice, and kept us moving through our meal without rushing us.
