BE WARE OF THESE PEOPLE and WHAT THEY SELL YOU. I have had the worse experience with Lindora clinic in Newport Beach off of Bristol. This is a scam either by the company or this new manager. (I never had a problem with the old one). It is totally ripoff of your money. To start with, I have never been on Lindora weight loss program and only used the clinic for Vitamin B12 or Lipo shots, whenever I had time to go at my convenience. (This is on their records that I never had shots monthly, weekly or daily). Last time when I went for my shot, the manager told me the 6 injections left in my package (that I had paid for) were expired. What the heck? This was the first time I heard about injection packages being expired. If they informed me of this new thing, I would have never bought any packages. Then the manager told me if I paid (I believe $175 for the nurse check up), she might let me have one of my shots. REALLY? what a generosity. It is discussing that a company which has been in business for years, use these tactics to rip off the clients. So, I was surprised to see that this Lindora location was 2 1/2 stars, but I get it now! I've done the program before and have been successful in losing pounds, but unfortunately those dang pounds come back!!! So I was thinking of getting back on track and signing back up but had the misfortune of calling at what seemed to be a bad time for the gal who answered the phone. I had gone online and saw there were 3 tiers of programs, and just wanted to find out the cost. At first she acted like she had no idea what information I was asking for - ??? - *I'm sure they got calls like this all the time because for a lot of people, the decision of joining a weight loss program is usually based heavily (sorry for the bad pun) on the cost of the program. Or maybe they don't get these calls too often, which is why the gal was so dumfounded by my inquiry - ?? So she finally went through and shared the costs of each tier (the tiers are mainly based on 1. whether you want to maintain your weight, 2. if you have less than 25 lbs. to lose or 3. if you'd like to lose more than 25 lbs.) At that point I was done! There's nothing worse than calling a business where the person who answers the phone makes you feel like you called them at a bad time. I apologized for possibly interrupting her and said I'd call back at another time. Which is when she directed me to her Manager, Cheryl. But like I said, I was done. Guess I'll just go back to my original location, which has been known to have excellent customer service! My mistake for trying to go to a more convenient location to my office -- it's a little more out of the way to get to but will be well worth the extra drive in the end. So I guess, the moral to my rant: ask to speak to the Manager if you want to get info on the programs. It's a great program and it really works! And it re-trains you on how to make great food choices! If you want to make a healthy lifestyle change for not just you, but your entire family, this is a great start! Good luck!! read more

I have been successful on this program twice before so I know that this program works! My review is not based on program itself, but of the clinic location and the HB staff. I first started this this program in February 2021. The new program requires you to become a member for 1 year. When I signed up, the HB office hours were 7am to 4pm. It's located close to my work so I knew I could get there during my lunch break for my daily visits. I noticed that the staff changed constantly. I never saw the same 2 nurses/MA's after about 3 months. It seems that turnover is quite high. It's hard to develop a relationship with someone when you are on a weight loss program when the staff changes constantly. The used to have a nurse, Carla, who was amazing at helping clients with the program. When a customer asked the office manager for a print out of the some sample menus, she was told that they don't provide those anymore. Lindora wants you to figure it out. Sometimes it's hard coming up with the correct combination of carbs and proteins and we need help. They old program, they provided you with sample menus to help you. Suddenly the office hours changed. The HB office was going to close for lunch from 11:30am to 12:30pm. This is exactly when I take my lunch break so now I can't get in to the office for my daily visits. I called the corporate office and asked if there was a way they could at least have the nurses stagger their lunch so they didn't have to close. I was told they reserve the right to change their hours but they would bring this to the office managers attention. Nothing has changed. I decided I better give this 100% effort since my membership was ending in mid February. When I arrived I noticed that the parking lot was under construction so I parked in free valet parking. They guys were very nice and super friendly. Parking had been an issue so I am happy that they are building a structure. The office hours are still 7am to 4am and closed for lunch for 1 hour. I guess my suggestion was not taken into consideration. There were two new gals that were working as the nurses/MA's. Gotta build another relationship with them. As the days went by and I showed up for my daily visits, I noticed the valet was closed a day so I parked in the lot next door. IT was disgusting. I had to walk past 5 homeless vehicles. The smell of urine and marijuana was disgusting. They leave their trash all over the side walk and chain their bikes to the fence. I'm surprised the city hasn't asked them to move. The office buildings are pretty gross too. The windows are so dirty, you can barely see through them, some days the bathroom was out of order. Not a great thing to have happen. I was about 4 weeks into my weight loss program and the computer kept telling them that I need to do lab work and sign up for another yearly membership. I told them that I was not going to renew my membership. I had to meet with the office manager to sign paperwork to make sure that I gave enough notice so that my card was not charged my monthly fee. After I received the letter that my paperwork was received, I went in for my daily visit. I was told that since I canceled, I was no longer able to get my daily shot and that I was no longer in a weight loss program either, even though I paid for that month. It was explained that if the weight loss program would not be completed before my membership expiration date, then I wasn't able to get the daily shots THAT I PAID FOR. I was able to come in to get the booster shots per week until my end date. I came in and got my booster and asked if I could get three per week. I was told no. Then on the last week of my membership, I was told that they changed their plan and I COULD get three boosters in a week but my week ended on Thursday so I could only get two. Super frustrated as things were not explained, product was constantly unavailable, different information was given all of the time, hours were not what they were when I signed up, facility is disgusting and they really just want to take your money. I hear the Newport Office is amazing. If I were able to make it that office, I would renew but I would not recommend Lindora anymore. Do yourself a favor, just buy their products at Rite Aid for way less and find a way to get your Vitamin B shots somewhere else. Completely disappointed. read more

Between the office staff Constant changeover, no one knows what they're doing. Current their office manager is Cheryle and she is no help whatsoever and can be very rude. Trying to get information out of them or trying to get your membership canceled because now they automatically renew is ridiculous. Run away from this office. read more

Please be aware that they will continue to charge your account even after your contract is up. You must go in and sign a cancellation form if you don't want Lindora to continue taking your money. I learned the hard way. I signed up for a second program towards the end of my "unlimited programs". no one told me you have to pay for the membership for the full year. They did refund 9 months but are still charging me for 3 months. I joined September 28,2020 and did not start program till October and now they are charging me for all of September (which should have been included in my one year), October, and November. Even after putting in my 21 days notice (which I did late so I do have to pay for October) but they still want to charge me for November. They are not letting me cancel and just taking my money! This company has poor communication, they are very greedy and have a very underlining way of taking customers money. The customer service is terrible and should have less than a 1 star review. I will never use or recommend this company ever again. The lady I spoke with at Corporate was rude and disrespectful. I sent three emails with no response. They locked my account in the clinic so I can't even use what I have paid for. Do your research and make sure you don't give them your credit card number. A horrible company to deal with. read more

Pain and suffering I decided to take matters into my own hands, get on Health kick and eating program of Health and Wellness. Im so disappointed in Lindoras contract we pay them $1700 two years ago for a contract that we were told we can come back at any time and do the program again. Now lindora sold part of the company off and not honoring their old contracts. This is fraud and disappointing I have called and talk to them and they just don't seem to care. read more

Yesterday December 18, 2018 my husband a I had a 11:30 appt. I signed in never greeted, the staff was very unprofessional we were given the wrong paperwork to fill out, then after 30min I walked around to look at the food when 2 staff members asked if I need anything I said yes when will we start out consultation she said is your paper work done thats when my husband asked when can we start she grabbed the paperwork then rolled her eyes to her co-worker when we finally had enough and walked out, we were willing to sign up but I guess they didn't want our business so we'll have to check out their competitors. I went here for a few years. Their program is sound and solid. It's expensive, but if you have no skin in the game it's not going to force motivation out of you either. I lost 30 pounds in 3 months, just do what they tell you, and it works. You don't gain it back either because they bring your metabolism (with diet) up while adding calories, the proper way, before the end of your program, so you can eat normal food without gaining it back (if you eat properly and change your old habits), if you don't use what they teach you once your program is over, it's on you if you go back to where you started. read more

I became a member about a month before Covid. Due to the restrictions and the daily hours changed, I ask if my account could be place on hold until I could get back into the clinic. My work hours changed as Lindora's did because of Covid. It is impossible for me to come in between their new hours 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. In July I received a message from Margie (which I have saved) and she said she understood my situation and would place a hold on my account. Great! I didn't want to use my plan without the benefit of my daily injections. Well that never happened. I am still being billed monthly and unable to come in due to work and keeping my 95 year old father who lived with us safe. Thanks Lindora for caring. read more

My wife joined Lindora last fall and is just finishing her 10 week program and has lost almost 30 pounds. I'm so happy with the results I am thinking of joining to lose my extra 25 pounds. The staff is very supportive, you can eat real food and some of the protein bars and supplements are really good. Waste of money !!!!! Where do I begin? I had so many issues with this location. First off it's very expensive. You would think if your paying over $700 for 2 months for basically a meal plan you would get your moneys worth right?? Nope!!! The staff at this location is not very welcoming and has a very cold vibe. All they do is stand at the computer and log your info and tell you some half ass advice and to read the next chapter in the book. It's not very supportive environment. I left numerous times feeling very discouraged and upset to the point of tears. and the funny thing was i was loosing weight. The one person that stuck out as a major negative was the office manager. I've been on Lindora Diet plans for a week 5 Protein Days already and so far I lost 5lbs. Tomorrow I will start another plans which will let me eat a little more. Here is what I think about this whole Lindora thing. Yes, their diet plans does work. They put you on this plan and tell you to eat small meals. Barely any food on your plate. I pretty much go to bed hungry and craving for bunch of stuff. I'm afraid once every thing is over I will gain everything back because normal people don't eat like the way they taught me. I think what made me try so hard and follow their diet plans is because it cost me money to sign up with them, I think all that motivated me. I hate their Diet Plans but I hate to say it does work because every time I get on that scale I'm like, YESSS!!!! I have this love and hate relationship with Lindora. SO disappointed with my experience at the Lindora clinic in Huntington Beach. When I joined I was told that even though they were currently only open from 7am to 4pm BUT that they were getting more staff and would soon expand the hours. Well this never occurred, making it very hard for me to get in during working hours. Most of the other locations are open at least until 5pm. The manager is very rude and condescending. I forgot a mask and asked if they had disposable ones and she snapped at me, "NO and we cannot see you without one and we told you this the last time you were in". Which of course they had not because I had not ever forgotten a mask before. A shout out to the doctor's office in the building that were kind enough to give me a mask so I didn't have to drive home and back. This was really the last straw for me. The program itself is okay not really the best and it only works if you have a good support group no support here. DO NOT go to the Huntington Beach location. read more

Total Scam!! You'll lose some weight at first, but they have you sign a contract for a year that automatically renews. They lie about auto renewal and how to cancel your membership. I became seriously ill on their program and their "professionals" just laughed when I explained my painful symptoms. I had to have a surgical procedure to correct the problem their products and program created in my body. Totally disappointed in the lack of professionalism and integrity. I have been a member at Lindora off and on for 20 years. Right before COVID began, I paid for a bunch of booster shots. Once COVID hit, I stopped going anywhere that was not necessary. My daughter has heart and respiratory issues that I was very concerned about. I continued my monthly membership, intending to return once COVID was less of a concern. Lindora contacted me to let me know that my boosters (that I paid for) would expire 1 year after purchase. I asked for an extension due to COVID and my families health concerns. They did not respond directly but asked the office manager to and only extended it 2 months, which meant that I would lose many boosters even if I came in the maximum times each week. I am shocked that it is even legal to say that a booster that I paid for expires and even though I am paying a monthly membership, I may no longer get the booster I paid for. I was then told by an employee that I needed to continue my $109 a month membership in order to come in for the boosters (even though that is not the case if your physical is current). Lindora is not concerned about their members or responsive to them and certainly has no flexibility with regard to the pandemic that we have all been dealing with. Terrible company since new ownership. I had been going to Lindora for 20 years. I always bought a weight loss program in advance and started it when it was convenient for me. Once they started the membership program or Wellness program you spend $49 a month and when they talk you into signing they don't tell you Lindora has new owners. They just say this is a new approach. I naively joined and then after extensive work travel, husband surgery, holidays decided to start my weight loss program to find out it expired. My monies gone. Of course I did not read the fine print since I have been going to Lindora off and on for 20 years. Never had an issue or problem I was unaware anything changed. They purposely don't let you know that there is new ownership and they don't even remind or tell you that you now must use your paid for weight reduction program within a certain time frame. What a SCAM. Consumers beware theses are not honest people. They are very experienced at taking advantage of innocent trusting patients. Be careful! Beware! This is now an opportunist, dishonest company with Big Corporate Ownership and the staff is very callous and secretive. There are different policies, however, you will not know that sine no one will tell you there is New Ownership until they absolutely have to. The "B" shots are from a distributor... Manufacturer not on the label. Distributor has no website, but an address and phone number back East. Called... no answer, just a message from from a lady who says the name of the company (LLC) and to leave a message. The shots "sting". The nurse told me that other patients said the same thing. I called the home office and still waiting for a response.... NOTHING. Don't think I want to be injected with "God knows what" from "God knows where. I've had the best experience ever... I've tried losing weight on my own and different weight loss plans over the years with not much success. This time it is working and I feel great.
