Salesmanship and service have gone way downhill. I've been a customer since 2013. But I'm looking for a new dealership and service department. Went in last year to upgrade my lease. Salesman asked me the same question 3 times. Clearly wasn't interested in my response and simply didn't sell me at all. I just bought out my leased vehicle. Then at my last maintenance the service department rep lied about my tire tread and advised I get new tires. Shortly after I left I got a second opinion. It was completely different and I still had plenty of tread. So disappointing as I loved Lindsay for a long time. I won't be going back. read more

A day ago, I went to  'Lindsay Acura' in Columbus, OH, in order to have one of the most trivial and simple maintenance services performed on my MDX: an oil change. Tonight, I had to travel about 180 miles and was planning to leave at about 9pm, but upon driving my vehicle out of my garage I noticed a large puddle of oil under the spot whereas the vehicle was parked. After further inspection, it seems that my vehicle is leaking oil all over the place; needless to say, my travel plans and arrangements were completed ruined. My MDX looks like new and  has about 44,000 miles on the odometer and  never had a single drop of oil coming out of it, neither had any other type of issue with this vehicle. This situation is almost surreal and extremely problematic (especially in my situation due to having had my travel pans and arrangements completed ruined in function of this absurd non-sense). Their technicians are either extremely incompetent or are on drugs. This is almost beyond human comprehension. The worse part is that there are no consequences for them. read more

My name is George Moore I was in contact with a sales representative and asked for pictures of a vehicle I was interested in. They sent us pictures but did not send us pictures of severe hail damage on the hood of the jeep I asked for pictures of the vehicle to help save myself time and gas at $3.99 a gallon and a 2 hour drive After driving that distance as soon as I pulled up to the vehicle I could see the damage from the inside of my car. I did not go into the dealership to talk with the sales representative I was pretty pissed off I just left. I would not recommended this dealership or take them for their word. read more

It was good about seven years ago and overtime It's honestly become piss poor. Unless of course you were buying a brand new ACURA every 2 to 3 years or Leasing one. As with any dealer, you're gonna pay more almost double for any service that you could get at your local reputable mechanic. It used to be all about the customer here; very disappointed to see that go away. I literally now take my Acura to another dealership on the other side of town 35 miles away because Lindsay will never see another dime of my money. read more

This is a follow up of my review of purchasing our 2 year old Genesis. We were mostly satisfied with our purchase experience. The car is perfect, but that has nothing to do with Lindsay and everything with Genesis. However, this review concerns their failing to live up to their promises. At the time of purchase the sales manager told us they would give us: 1) a free alignment, 2) free first oil change, 3) free paint chip repair within the first year. So months later they're calling us to setup the oil change. They even confirmed the oil change is free. We also stated that we wanted the alignment and we had a couple of paint chips to repair. That was confirmed over the phone, but once we arrived it was all denied. The service rep stated that: 1) the alignment should have been done within 30 days, 2) they don't give free oil changes, 3) they don't repair paint. He claimed that they only pulled dents out. Even though they have a body shop! We produced the We Owe You document and they reluctantly aligned the car, but wouldn't do anything else. I should have known. Originally when the sales manager said that they were a Christian Company the red flags were going up. It has been my unfortunate experience that "Christian " companies are not to be trusted. My experience has been that they will cheat you, usually by not honoring what they say. My fault for not getting all of it in writing. That's the moral of this story if you've made it this far; get it all in writing! read more

I would like to share an experience we have had with Lindsey Acura of Columbus in hopes that it saves someone else from the headache we have endured. Back in October we took our MDX there for an oil change. Picked it up Friday after work and noticed a squeaking sound within the first ten minutes of driving it. Called the next week (as the service department was closed by this time) to schedule a time to bring it by for the sound, that wasn't there prior to our oil change appointment (obviously we would have had them check out the sound at that appointment if it had existed prior). They wanted to charge us $90 to bring it by again. We went back and forth about paying for them to check a sound that wasn't there prior to them having possession of the vehicle. They obliged, said they checked the vehicle and couldn't hear anything. This was within a week of the oil change. Fast forward to last week...the car isn't starting as quickly as normally does, so we stop at an Autozone to check our battery, the guy helping us says "uhh do you see your hood latch?" No, we hadn't opened the hood, there's been no reason to. The hood latch is ripped for lack of a better rookie term. The Autozone associate said he's never seen anything like it. Take it to another local Acura dealership (who were fabulous and courteous), they too have never seen anything like it. Replace the battery, back to contacting Lindsey to address the issue since we have now discovered where the squeaking is coming from. The service staff and service manager have been extremely rude and condescending. Argued with us back and forth and after explaining that the noise had only developed since they had it and no one else has even opened the hood, they have now agreed to speak to the owners to see if there's anything they'd be willing to do. This has been an ongoing issue and communication with them for almost two months with no results. We cannot drive the car on the highway because the hood won't securely latch. We believe the person who did the oil change was well aware but instead of admitting the mistake, sent us out in to the world with an unsafe car. It's really hard to find people and businesses that value their customers and their customer's safety, I do not believe Lindsey is one of those places. It will be interesting to see if we hear back today after the service manager touches base with the owners. read more

With the recalls and electronics on the MDX he has been amazing helping me navigate the repairs with Warranty and Factory Recall. Personally I will never buy another car from here unless absolutely no other options. They didn't budge much on price even thought the vehicle had a scratch that they promised to fix but wanted me to take home the vehicle as is and come back to fix it. They said it would be 2 hour fix and I could work from their waiting room area with free WiFi. That didn't sound appealing but whatever I agreed. I come back on the day and time we agreed and they didn't actually make the appointment. So they tell me they'll try to fit it in but no idea how long it will take. They acted like this was a huge inconvenience to them even though this should've been fixed before I bought the damn car. Whatever I drove all the way out here so I'll wait I guess. The wifi didn't work that day which I guess isn't exactly their fault but added to my frustration. Then it took over 4 hours to fix which was double the time I was told when I bought the car. On top of this none of the employees were very nice or accommodating or even apologetic. I previously worked in supply chain for Honda/Acura manufacturing and my husband still works there. I don't expect special treatment but I think they could've at least fixed this before we took it home or given me a loaner instead of waiting. Hell I think I should've gotten more money off even. As someone who used to be involved with acura brand, I think the lost sales recently are definitely due to the way customers are treated at the dealerships. No great deals and it's not that luxurious compared to other actual luxury car brands. Just telling my friends and coworkers avo it this experience they're all pretty shocked. If this is how they treat customers who are actual employees of the brand..... how are they treating regular customers? On top of all this when I looked at the car it had all weather mats and the salesman even highlighted that as a benefit of buying certified and not coming down on the price. I get home and realize the car mats are not in the car anymore so I reach back out to inquire. Overall I would say the customer service is subpar and they're shady. All dealerships are obviously shady just as a nature of the business but I feel pretty terrible about my purchase. All white dealership. They almost coast my wife her life. We took our Infinity 80x to them for thousands of dollars with of work. Part of that work was a break job for all four wheels disc brakes. My wife picked the car up after paying for repairs and was driving on the freeway when the caliper fell off the rotor while she was driving at about 65-70 mph. She said it scared the life out of her. Lindsay Acura Service Department Strikes Again! Do NOT take your vehicle here for service under any circumstances. I had a previous bad experience with this service department, but I had a complimentary oil change so I decided to give them another shot. Upon taking my car in for standard maintenance (oil change, tire rotation, rim repair) the service men found that my coolant reservoir was not placed in the correct spot - it was apparently located near the exhaust which caused a hole to be burned through my reservoir. The service men informed me of this issue and then said that it would be have to be repaired. I previously had a recall repaired completed at the Acura service center in Dublin a week prior to taking my vehicle in for service today for standard maintenance. It is very odd that apparently my reservoir conveniently had a hole when I have driven MILES - city to city for over a week and no burning smell or leaking coolant was found around the car. Additionally if the reservoir had hole then eventually my car would have overheated at some point within the week of having it serviced at Acura in Dublin. I suspect that at some point during my oil change and multi-point inspection the technician(s) at Lindsay Acura were negligent and moving things they were not supposed to (i.e.putting my cooling reservoir on the a hot engine). Once the service men and George G. alerted me of this issue I told them to replace the reservoir and George said I could schedule and appointment for Thursday or Friday to have the issue repaired. Shortly after being informed I contacted Acura (Dublin location) of where I previously had the vehicle serviced and the service manager graciously handled the solution (i.e. standing behind there quality work and helping me figure out the situation - even driving the necessary part to Lindsay early in the afternoon so the reservoir could be replaced the same day (replacing the reservoir takes less than 1 hr) and I would not have to go back on Thursday or Friday. I KNOW the Lindsay Acura service men were being lazy as they called me a little over an hour before they closed to pick up my vehicle and they did not even replace the reservoir when the required part was dropped off to them early in the afternoon - my vehicle was dropped off at 9am and I was not called to pick it up until 3:50pm and they closed at 5pm that day (New Years Eve). My vehicle was there for over 6 hours for an oil change, tire rotation, and rim repair. When I arrived to pick up my vehicle, I asked George was the reservoir replaced and he said "No" as I have an appointment scheduled for Friday to have it repaired. Additionally, George told me it was "safe" to drive my vehicle home that did not have coolant in it - I asked to speak to his boss and Bob (George's boss) informed me that the vehicle is not safe to drive. While in conversation George had a very condescending and rude tone. He was definitely trying to cover him and his co-worker(s) during this discussion especially since they were negligent while completing my vehicle's service. This establishment needs to be investigated especially if they were going to let a customer drive off in a car with no coolant and attempt to blame another service center for their own wrong doing - Lindsay Acura Service Department is dishonest. I am not the only with an awful experience with this service department. Read there Google reviews and even their complaints in the Better Business Bureau website. If you are a women do not come here as they will speak to you in a condescending tone and try to pull a fast one on you - making you pay for something that their service men messed up. I would not to come near this establishment again to purchase or have my vehicle serviced unless I was VERY DESPERATE; truth be told dealing with Lindsay Acura makes me never want to purchase a Honda or Acura product again. I have already reported this issue to corporate. I hope corporate takes a very detailed look into this service department and its ethics because the individuals I have encountered in this service department are not upstanding citizens - treating customers and their vehicles poorly. **Update Today I received a voicemail from this service department this morning at approximately 8am claiming my vehicle was ready for pick-up. It is oddly convenient that my car was "ready" and they had the part so soon (the day after a holiday) especially considering that when I was there on Tuesday to "pick-up" my vehicle George claimed they did not have the part and the part had to be ordered - and my vehicle would not be ready until Friday. Once again this department refuses to take responsibility for their wrong-doings and claim Acura (Dublin location) "dropped the ball" for having the necessary part delivered. I purchased my second car ever from Lindsay Acura, and it was a great experience. My last car was an Acura, and I was looking at Hondas and Acuras in my search for a new vehicle, and ended up at their dealership after being at the Lindsay Honda location for a while. Matt was so kind right off the bat as we were coming in, and was able to help me check out the car I was interested in. He went above and beyond to check on things, answer questions, and make sure the process was smooth. A few hours later I was driving away in my new (used) car. Both Matt from sales and Jamie from finance were responsive in the days after purchasing my vehicle, so I feel supported even though I haven't had any issues so far. I hope I won't be in the market for another vehicle ANY time soon, but I would definitely go back if I had a future need. Jordan was an amazing salesman and wonderful during the entire month long process of us evaluating the car. Would highly recommend him. The part of our experience that resulted in this bad review had nothing to do with him. It was the financing department. I understand only one finance officer was in due to the other being sick, however, the one that was working moved at a snails pace. He was very kind, but I don't know if he understood how many people were waiting. Like he was unbelievably slow. The entire process took over 4 hours. That is just unacceptable in my mind. A customer waiting to do business with you and give you a shit ton of money should never have to wait that long. The finance department here needs some serious work. read more

We've purchased several vehicles from Lindsay Acura over the years and have nothing but good to say about this dealership. Their sales department is top notch and extremely knowledgeable. Each agent knows a tremendous amount about the vehicles and, if they don't, will provide the information in a short time frame. Also, thankfully, they're not overly aggressive. You will be greeted not long after you arrive, but they'll let you browse to your heart's content until you're ready to discuss your needs. Over the years, I've enjoyed how they take the time to talk to everyone I'm traveling with (namely, my wife and kids) and get to know as much about them as possible. Several of the employees had kids that shared he same school as mine and it was interesting listening to them talk about them. I especially liked that did weekly barbecuing outside on the grill, all day, providing food, drinks and chips for the customers. This ended when The Andersons closed across the street. *sigh* Last week, we took a car in for servicing and were surprised to learn that they were open late hours for servicing. We called in an appointment and they had us in and out in no time. The waiting room was great. It had "theater-type" seats in front of a television with snacks and drinks. They also had two video game stations for the children. This was smart thinking. As far as I'm concerned, this is where I'll always do business. Check it out when you get a chance. read more

Well, on Tuesday 08/15/23 I was dropping my car off for service. I had the "pleasure" of dealing with Bob P. Just a suggestion, if you decide to continue to do business with Lindsay Acura, I would suggest requesting he not handle anything. So when I made the appointment to drop off my vehicle and explained I was going back eat for a few weeks and would need the cra done before then. As I normally do, I usually drop the car off the night before and pick up the following day - making it clear that they can do it whenever and I can pick it up after 6pm. Since they don't offer loaners for oil changes anymore, I asked friend who lives in the Polaris area if they could pick me up. I arrived at 6:30 and Bob was the one to help me (maybe he was having a really bad day). Took my key, asked why I was there, gave him my number and proceeded tell me in not such a nice way that i didn't have any appointment. Right, because I'm just going to show up randomly I explained that my appointment was for the following day and I always drop my car off the night before - to which he replies we don't operate that away. Explained again that i called and made the appointment, which he told me I didn't have one. And then I pulled out my phone and showed him that i received a text from Acura and then demanded to see my phone. Of course the person I made the appointment on the phone did what they did for scheduling, as I made it clear I would be dropping off on Tuesday and picking up Wednesday. After being dismissed, accused of lying, I expressed that I needed an oil change and that I have to leave Friday morning to go back east for a few weeks. So Bob P clearly didn't hear a word I was saying because I he offered me an appointment for Friday Afternoon, and some appointments next week. I'm livid at this point, because I'm being treated like garbage and he has 't listened to anything I said. I asked if there was anyway they could squeeze me in, and basically yelled that they were completely booked. Finally, I just said screw it, grabbed my key and jumped in my car. As I was pulling out the garage, mr Bob decided to scream fore me to slow down - anyone that knows that dealer, when you pull into the bay bring you car in and my car was all the way in the front near the exit door. Love my car, but it doesn't go 0-60 in matter of 4 feet As I was leaving, I decided to go into the showroom to speak to a manager and was approached a by a nice sales person. The manager must've heard my frustration as I was being a little loud, came out to speak with me. Explained to her exactly what happened and I was getting the understanding head nodding, with no solution 1. Should've found out who I made the appointment with and what the mix up was instead of being accessed of lying 2. DO everything to correct the problem and TRY to keep an angry customer that has been going there for 7 years So I left really upset and told them I will never do business with Lindsay Auto Grp. Not that I'm driving a bentley, but i would expect more from Acura On the happy side of things, I contacted Acura in Dublin, which was closed BUT, they offer a number you can text afterhours. Thinking it was an automated thing, turns out it was a real person that responded. explained what happened with Lindsay and hoped for an oil change before I leave. They were so accommodating and got me the next day. They even went as far to give me instructions and photos of where the night box drop. THEY OPERATE THAT WAY!!! Purchased a used 2020 Lexus Rx 350 from Lindsay. Per the CARFAX provided the car had been in a few "minor" accidents. The salesman did provide me this information . I have been in minor accidents and it was never a big deal. Body shops can fix minor accidents like it has never happened. 2 days after purchase I drove the family on a trip south. A few hours into the trip the plastic trim on the front driver fender just flew off onto the highway at 70mph. I finished the trip and took the vehicle to a local Lexus dealer. After a full inspection the dealer let me know that the trim had been put on with double sided tape. Other parts of the front clip had been put together with chicken wire. A closer look also revealed that the parts had been previously hit had been poorly painted and instead of removing trim, they put tape around trim, headlights etc. the paint job will likely peel at some point. My point is the body work was really crappy. This car should have never been sold to me in this condition. I will never buy anything from Lindsay again. On a further note I asked the used car manager to reimburse me for the $800 in repairs. He refused and after multiple attempts to contact he just started ignoring me read more

Ultimately I gave this a 5 star rating, because my experience was turned around in a big way. HOWEVER- be warned the sales manager Nick Kerr was a total jerk. He was rude and aggressive, and while trying to negotiate MY deal, for MY car, he was only acknowledging my husband, who was just there as company, and a ride incase I brought the car home. It's not the 1950's Nick. Honestly, ESPECIALLY if your a woman, just call ahead and make sure he's not there first. Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience at this dealership. My husband went on a Monday and test drove an MDX. The salesman Marc was the one who was assisting us, and when my husband returned from the drive he said if you're interested in the car just wait to buy it Wednesday because I'm off on Tuesday. Well my husband went back on Tuesday and test drove an Infiniti QX 60 and we were in love with it! However again we were advised to wait until Wednesday to buy the car so that Mark would be able to get the credit. on Wednesday morning, we called in to the dealership to see when Mark would be in and inquired about the car and they had sold the car from underneath of us and said it was no longer available and were unapologetic. They lost our business from now and always. we took our business elsewhere, and are very happy with the infiniti that we got. Didn't get to test drive the vehicle without salesman inside the vehicle. Only got to test drive for 5 minutes. I asked him why does he have to be inside the vehicle during test drive and he said to answer any questions I may have. Which is BS because I could have asked questions when I came back. He let another couple test drive alone. I really thought that was unfair. Didn't give me the best value on my trade in. Wouldn't take any money off the 2021 Buick Envision even though the car had many dents and scratches. For my credit to be almost 800 I was offered a terrible APR%. Wasn't able to use my bank to get the best APR% because he said they only use in house banks which is ridiculous. Just not a good experience at Lindsey Acura! read more

I was so impressed with his knowledge of the vehicles and sales process, and his ability to make it as easy as possible. Buying a car can be very stressful... I have had poor experiences in other states and with other dealers in the past. But not here at Lindsay. If you are in the market, make sure to see Tyler. He sold me a used Acura Integra that I am so beyond happy with!! Tyler is insightful, kind, patient, trustworthy, friendly, hard working, and sincere. This guy deserves a raise or a bonus!!! I will think twice about having my car serviced here. The communication is bad here. The person that was handling my car, Logan Bob, gave me a number to contact him at, but he did not respond to my text or phone calls! It was just an alternator. I had it towed on Thursday. They initially contacted me and were on top of things. But I had to call to get updates and with him not responding on the number he gave me, I had to call the main number. Well no one answers the phone, I left several voice messages. When I did get in contact with him, he told me he would call me around 6am on Monday morning since we were just waiting for the battery to charge. No phone call, no text, I am calling no one is answering the phone. By 1030 I am fuming because I need my car. So I finally get through and I hear so many excuses, from the guy that answered the phone, from Logan that they were swamped. I am thinking my car should have been one of the first ones out of there. They had not looked at my car since Friday. He said my car was still up on the lift. I am over this kinda of passive customer service. I had plans to look at new cars since we had been thinking about it and with some of the issues with my current car, but I won't get a new one here. I will spend my money where I am appreciated. Kinda done with the Lyndsey family of cars. The customer service is just not there, even when I bought the car from Lyndsay GMC. I called back and had a question about the contract, and the rep that I purchased the car from got defensive. Just Over It!! read more

How can car dealerships still treat people like it's 1988? I started off test driving two different Acura TLX's a few weeks ago on a snowy day. First, my salesperson was horrible. So horrible that I learned he quit a few days later. But, that night he was back and forth in the manager's office so many times and literally would not give me my trade in keys back. I waited for at least 30 minutes until I had to walk back to managers office asking for my keys back. They had presented numbers to me (which later I learned were completely inaccurate and low) and tried hard to earn my business that day. Ultimately they did not have the combo I wanted. I went to other Acura dealerships and had better experiences. Fast forward to the end of the month when other salespeople and managers kept calling me trying to earn my business. It got to the point that I had to block numbers and tell them they were not listening to me. They kept trying to sell me on vehicle combo's I wasn't interested in. Please don't waste your time going here. I didn't even end up with an Acura, but had a great experience with Crown Acura in Cleveland-they will even deliver your car to Columbus! read more

I had a superb experience here last night. Ron, our salesman provided everything we were looking for in our new RDX. He worked to make sure we were satisfied and was laid back and easy to work with. He stayed late and gave us drinks and snacks as this process can take some time! He made it so easy to move from a sedan to our new family car! He will definitely have our return business! Acura and Lindsay Acura are NOT a stand up companies. We leased (thank god I did one thing right) a new 2015 Acura RDX on February 7th 2015, for three years 36,000 miles. Our salesman was great to deal with, the new car manager (Mark) was a piece of work though. Our RDX developed a vibration at 35-55 mph that was a problem (they replaced driveshaft) then according to them it was not a problem when the vibration returned. After a few trips back to the dealership (we had ours 2 months and the RDX had 1500 miles) I was offered by Mark to move into another new RDX for just $7000 out of pocket. Sure let me double down on STUPID and lease another one since you will not fix this one. We were done at that point with Lindsay and Acura, ignorant and arrogant. As for the rest of our Acura experience it took place at other dealerships in Ohio and Massachusetts. The vibration never was fixed, numerous recalls and back and forth to dealerships that are 20 miles from home never ended. The only thing upscale about Acura is the price. 18 days it took for them to service my vehicle. Not due to anything other then the fact that they did not care to make it any sort of priority. They lied to me multiple times. I left a message for the service manager and he never returned my call. I left a message for the customer relations manager and she never returned my call. Do your self a favor and stay far away from this dealership. My sales man Jeissy was great both times I bought a vehicle from him but the service department has guaranteed themselves that I will never give them my business again. We bought our first Acura 4 years ago. We have grown out of our car. We were searching for a new vehicle. We decided to get an SUV. We tried out a few both full-size and mid-size suv's. And we decided on the mid-size. We went to another dealership and although the vehicle was nice, we did not feel like they cared if a deal was made or not. We decided to go back to Lindsay Acura. Tabitha at Acura greeted us quickly upon our arrival. She showed us several vehicles and we test drove them. She wanted to make sure we were truly happy with our choice. I cannot tell you how far she went to make it happen! She was patient, very knowledgeable and even though it was closing time, they did not rush us.
