I had messaged with Melinda about Bobby coming out to swap a seized ac compressor on my 04 escape…read more He came out in a timely manor and fixed it on a SUNDAY! Bobby was EXTREMELY helpful and got the new compressor installed within an hour or so. I think I found my new mechanic in the Columbus Area. They only do Mobile service for now but that works best for me because he came straight to my apt and fixed my car there! If anyone needs work done I would highly recommend this company. Fast, easy, convenient, and affordable! I was expecting to pay a lot more than I did but they are professional and understand that good service and reasonable prices go a lot farther than most anything else!

Due to the extent of the oil leak I asked if the rear main seal was leaking. I was told no that it was the only items listed above. Approved the repairs and picked up the vehicle. Was told they had to power wash the underneath due to the amount of oil that had been leaking. So not to be alarmed if I saw some drips for awhile. Drove the vehicle less than 50 miles and the leak was just as bad as it always was had to put 2.5 quarts of oil in. Took back to Dart was then told it was the rear main seal. This was definitely misdiagnosed the first time. They then wanted another $1000 to do the rear main seal. Per the owner Dave after doing the other repairs it added more oil pressure causing the rear main seal to go out. Oil pressure was never an issue and carries the same oil pressure before and after repairs. At this point I'm not convinced they even replaced the gaskets they said they replaced. As I can't tell any difference with the oil leak. Definitely would not recommend this shop.

Also, the customer service was great as both gentleman in the office were kind and informative of what to do the next time I encounter warning lights and let me know what repairs on my vehicle could wait for a bit. Fair prices. Nice staff. Not a bad wait time on vehicle. One thing to note there's not really a waiting area at this shop but the location is only a 8 min walk from a great coffee shop and the library where you can spend time until your vehicle is finished. I would highly recommend coming here to get your vehicle inspected and worked on.

Update: the owner Mike contacted me and looked into the situation. He stated that the mechanic who…read moredid the work on my vehicle no longer works for him and Mike is refunding me the cost of having to put the second set of pads on as well as the entire cost of the caliper that never should have been put on the car in the first place. I find it ironic that the owner Mike states in his history blurb that he started the shop because he was tired of seeing people get ripped off, well that's exactly how I feel, ripped off by Sanderson Automotive. I thought we were doing a good thing by trying to support a local mechanics shop when my Focus, that I had been taking to Ricart for service for years needed new brake rotors and pads. I will say that Sanderson got us in quickly, but then also found that we needed a new battery and they stated that the lug nuts on the wheels were swollen and needed replaced, so that's also a lie when they state that they don't "find" things that need replaced on your car, they do. So this was a $986 bill. The very next day when I was driving to work the car was making a horrible scraping noise, as if i were dragging a sheet of metal behind the car. So I called them and they did get me in the same day to look at the car. By the time I had left work early to get this issue looked at the car had stopped making the noise, so naturally they didn't find anything. Next, a few weeks later the car started making a horrible rattling noise every time I went over the smallest bump. So once again I have to take my car back to them and they said this time that it was the brake caliper over retracting and causing it to rattle. The noise definitely came from the rear passenger side, and when they diagnosed the problem they asked if i wanted to have both calipers replaced. I said no because it was already going to be $371, and why would I replace something that wasn't broke? Sure enough within two days of having the caliper replaced the same exact noise was coming from the driver side of the car. At this point this all seems far too coincidental, the manager, Josh, that I had been dealing with the entire time, stated that there was no harm in driving with the car like this as it was not a safety issue. So by this point I'm tried of having my car into their shop, so I just let it go for a while. We finally decide it's time to have the issue taken care of so we take the car back to Ricart, at this point I don't trust Sanderson. I explained to Ricart what they had previously done to the car and after their inspection they called and said that there was nothing wrong with the brake caliper, and that whoever had installed my brake pads last time forgot to put the anti-rattle clips on the pads. Sure enough two days later and not a single rattling noise. So at this point I have had brake pads installed on the car twice in six months and a caliper replaced for no reason and I'm out $679 and hours of my time because of Sanderson's incompetence. Also, we were contacted by the owner, Mike, via text a few months ago about how our experience was and we mentioned that it was not good and we have received no response. As of writing this we also called and left a voicemail asking for them to call us and explain why they didn't installed the clips and then missed it a second time when I went back and they decided to charge us for a caliper. It has been two days with no response. In summary, Sanderson's will be happy to take your money, charge you for things you don't need and never call you back. Save yourself they hassle and don't patronize them.

I recently had the water pump replaced on my vehicle at Luke's Auto Shop. Unfortunately, shortly…read moreafter the repair, I discovered that a coolant hose clamp associated with the water pump had been left improperly installed. This caused coolant to leak into the engine bay and could have led to much more serious engine damage if it hadn't been caught quickly. A mistake like this is concerning because the cooling system is a critical component, and something as basic as verifying that all hose clamps are properly secured should be part of every final inspection before a vehicle is returned to the customer. That said, I also believe it's important to recognize when a business makes a genuine effort to address a problem. Once the issue was brought to the shop's attention, the service manager handled the situation professionally. While the original workmanship issue should not have occurred, he did what he could to make the situation right by listening to my concerns, arranging for the vehicle to be checked over, and working to restore my confidence in the repair. No repair shop is immune to mistakes, but how those mistakes are handled matters. In this case, the initial repair fell short of the standard I expected, but the service manager's professionalism and willingness to stand behind the work improved what could have been a much worse experience. Overall, I hope the shop strengthens its quality-control procedures to ensure critical items like coolant hose connections are verified before vehicles leave the shop. If they do, I believe they can provide a much more consistently positive customer experience.

I went to Luke's about a month ago, because I needed to get my transmission flushed. I was…read moreincredibly happy with the service. First of all, when you set up an appointment, you can request a loaner car, so that you don't need to wait there for the car, and I didn't have to miss work. I also saw a different rep ordering someone an Uber for a different customer because who didn't have appointment so there wasn't a loaner available. Secondly, I originally went in for a transmission flush. While I was at work, I got a text and email of the inspection they had done. The inspection was really easy to read, and gave me different levels of recommendations for other things that needed to be done. Some things were urgent, and some things were needed soon, but not urgent, and there were some things that were for maintenance only. On my lunch break, I called my service rep, and he was able to talk me through all of the things on the report, and explain things to me, because I am pretty illiterate when it comes to cars. I ended up also getting my drive belt replaced as well. But my rep made sure to let me know what the price would before I decided to go through with it. At the end of my work day, I drove my loaner car back to Luke's and picked my car up, and was on my way. Overall, the inspection report, and the loaner car I think is what really separates Luke's from the rest. When I've taken my car to get an oil change or the tires replaced at other places, i've always had to wait in the lobby and its a waste of time. I lost no time with Luke's and knew exactly what was happening to my car. Take your car to Luke's if you want incredible service.

The gentleman working the front was super helpful and said he could get it done in about an hour and they had the specific piece I needed - what a lifesaver. The mechanic (I think his name is Jerry) insisted he was giving me a good deal. The Kia dealership a few miles away quoted me less for the same repairs. I had also specifically told the owner and written down my concerns about my Sedona, saying I would not be interested in fixing this auto if the repairs are too much money. $2000 for a 13 year old beat auto is too much money. They didn't care or they didn't listen. Instead, the mechanic encouraged me to spend even more money by getting my tires replaced with them while my car was at their shop. I refused to let them fix a thing. And, I'm upset that they wasted my time by lying about "helping" me and giving me a good deal. Also, I wasted my money since the diagnostic charge was $115. In the end, I paid them to do nothing to my car. My impression of the mechanic and the owner is they are not honest nor do they have integrity as their sign on the building says. I found them to be unhelpful in every way that was most important to me. I also felt they wanted to argue with me about the cost of my repairs and the service they gave. That was very unprofessional. If I was closer to home I would not have taken my car here. But, I was 2 hours away from home when my Sedona was leaking coolant. If you are looking for someone to repair your car, I suggest avoiding this place. Maybe take it to a dealership and ask them if they can give you a discounted price on repairs as I did with Kia.
