Lindsay is a dream to work with! I found her on Yelp by searching for "East Bay Wedding Planners" since we knew at that time that we wanted to have our wedding event be location in the San Ramon/Livermore area (to accommodate friends and family from SF, SJ, and East Bay itself. After further "research" of Lindsay Lauren Events (LLE), we fell in love with everything Lindsay herself stood for, represented- and to top it off, her creativity exuded in abundance! We met Lindsay three times: a preliminary meeting prior to our hiring, once at the venue, and a final meeting about a month prior to the wedding date. She was so very resourceful, punctual, receptive to communications, KIND, and most importantly- she was supportive in what we wanted for our special day. I knew the moment I first spoke with Lindsay, that I wanted her to be our wedding planner. We began meeting with Lindsay when we decided to host our 150-person wedding ceremony and reception in my parent's backyard. Throwing a backyard wedding is a lot of work. I expressed to her on many occasions that I would be far more stressed out, and I would not have enjoyed planning the wedding as much if we did not hire her. Nor would things have run as smoothly. Everything went perfectly because she was there to handle anything that came up. She knew exactly what needed to happen and when, and she made sure everyone was where they needed to be. Day of, my biggest concern was that my bustle broke. (Anne Marie for the win!) Even though there were things that went awry, Lindsay was there to make everything right and the day was absolutely perfect. From day 1 when I met Lindsay for my wedding, she helped inspire so many ideas. I told her what I pictured, and she really helped make my ideas a reality. There were a number of aspects on the wedding day that would not have been there without her creative ideas. She has an incredibly positive attitude, and she made me feel happy, confident, and relaxed every time we spoke. She even kept me on track reminding me what needed to be done, which was extremely helpful. Day of, there were a couple things that needed immediate attention, she spoke with me briefly about how I wanted it handled and I didn't hear another thing about it.
