Saneta and her team were great to work with from day one; we were able to tour the venue early on, go over quotes and figure out what worked with our budget & even attend an event where we could sample dinner options and meet with vendors! Communication was great and the entire process from booking our date to finalizing all the little details was smooth throughout. We truly had the best time on our big day and everything came together perfectly on the day of. Canyon View's team worked great with our wedding coordinator/planner and all of our other vendors. We have been going to many Venues for my family member wedding in the near future. We visited two different venues in San Ramon. Canyon View Event center was the last one we visited . Saneta was the Cal State certified event planner . Before the meeting she e mailed us and called us to remind us "'don't be late " . We arrived 5 minutes early and were greeted by her lovely assistant. We were informed to wait a little while and we ended up waiting 20 minutes . No apologies. Sandra met us when she was done with the last client . We were wondering why stressed so much about " on time " while she could not keep the appointment as scheduled. The venue is beautiful, nicely devoted with big Wi downs and screen so you could appreciate the sunshine and green lawn outside . It was also big enough to accommodate 200 - 250 guests . It has a big dance floor , outdoor area to have a wedding ceremony and a fountain . The basic cost of the venue was the cheapest compared to other . However, they have a detailed list of renting cost every single item ( like dessert bowls , chair cover , dessert spoons, cocktail table , etc ) . I have enclosed a list for your reference. I would not recommend to come to this venue for the hidden costs and inconvenience. We did not appreciate the dinner banquet was only Buffett style . Really happy with how our summer wedding at Canyon View turned out! The venue is well-maintained, has lovely views outside, and is quite spacious inside. (We especially appreciated that the venue had its own private parking lot right in front!) We ultimately chose this venue for our wedding because it was relatively customizable when it came to space configurations, catering availability, and BYOB as a bar package option. Saneta and Jessica were communicative and were always able to clarify any questions we had leading up to the wedding. We just had our 200-guest wedding at Canyon View, and I'm absolutely in love with how everything turned out! The venue truly speaks for itself -- we didn't need much additional decoration because the space is already stunning, with its large windows, beautiful natural lighting, and an incredible view for the ceremony. Canyon View was one of the more modern event centers we toured, and it stood out immediately. The pricing was very reasonable, especially considering how much customization was allowed. We also really appreciated the flexibility of their BYOB package. While there were a few areas where we couldn't bring in our own vendors, overall they were very accommodating in letting us choose who we wanted to work with. Saneta and Jessica were amazing to work with -- incredibly responsive and patient with all the questions we had throughout the planning process. Saneta even stayed for the entire wedding day to assist and regularly checked in to make sure everything was running smoothly and that we were okay. We received so many compliments from our guests about how spectacular the venue looked. Several friends and family members even asked me about it afterward because they're now interested in booking it for their own events! The food was also a highlight! We attended their tasting event beforehand and gave detailed feedback. During the final days leading up to the wedding, Saneta made sure to relay all of our notes to the chef -- and everything turned out perfect. This review is long overdue. My wife and I got married here back in April of 2022. After touring different wedding venues, my wife and I fell in love with this location largely due to the view, their open bar policy, and Saneta. Saneta was AMAZING throughout the entire process. She was so friendly and patient with all our questions. She even made a special accommodation for us by honoring a slightly older/cheaper price. The day of our wedding, she was there the entire time to help with all sorts of random things that I had no idea she would help with (helping my wife with her long dress before her grand entrance, making us a plate when we were too busy with guests, offering to block off our sweetheart table so we could eat without guests asking to take pics, etc.). Her wedding experience really shined and she was so helpful with resolving issues before they became issues and as a result, our wedding day was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. We had our wedding this month and Canyon View couldn't have been more perfect. When we got engaged last November, we immediately started looking for venues the following month. We noticed a lot of venues were booking up fairly quickly for the following year since people plan way in advance. Canyon View was on our list of venues to reach out to, so I decided to give them a call. Turns out a tour is needed so I made an appointment to stop by that afternoon with my mom. My first impression of the venue was that it was very spacious with a lot of natural light. I fell in love with the fountain in the back and also the view! Jessica gave us a tour and explained the different options that were available. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. My husband and I had a couple of conversations with Saneta before we put down our deposit. She was very thorough and answered all the questions that we had. We are also very appreciative that both Jessica and Saneta were always very responsive everytime we sent them an email. On our big day, both Saneta and Jessica were there to make sure everything was perfect, and it was! I didn't see any hiccups throughout the night. I loved that our ceremony started outdoors and we then brought all our guests indoors for the reception. All of our guests raved about the beautiful view of the city and the gorgeous venue. We cannot thank Canyon View, Saneta and Jessica enough for making our wedding so memorable for us and our guests!! We had such a positive experience working with Saneta and Jessica for our wedding at Canyon View Event Center. What attracted us to this venue was the beautiful interior spacing with hanging chandeliers. The outdoor grass area for ceremonies also had a pretty fountain and a bed of roses overlooking a breathtaking view for those sunset photos. Our wedding was in the end of September and we got so lucky with the weather being in the bearable 80s for our guests. Saneta, the business manager, was so easy to work with given her extensive knowledge in the industry and her honest, direct approach with couples like my wife and I seeking guidance. I was really impressed with her awareness of different traditional practices and beliefs among other cultures than her own and what considerations you may or may not want to include in one's own wedding (common superstitions, respecting our elders, colors to avoid, additional ceremonies, etc). She also provided us with really helpful advice based on her own personal experience with her daughter's wedding. She suggested that we should place our projector screen in a specific location by our sweetheart table for best viewing of a slideshow for our guests and it turned out to be a great spot! Another great quality that we noticed and really appreciated while working with Saneta was how she advocated for her clients and put her efforts in making things fair between us and the vendors. It feels good knowing there's someone on your side you can trust and depend on. Jessica was very personable and helpful with staying in communication with us, answering any questions that came up, meeting us to collect our forms of payment, and giving us that extra layer of support and trust in making sure things went smoothly. On our wedding night, both Saneta and Jessica were sweet enough to wish us congratulations in person and made sure we had everything we need. My wife and I were so pleased with how everything turned out, especially with the setup and decor, the food, event staff, personalization, recommended vendors, & budget-friendliness. This place is just magical! Such a beautiful hall with breath taking views. We had my brothers wedding here and all the guests were blown away with this venue, food, and service. The staff were all amazing and super friendly. But the best part about this whole experience was working with the manager Saneta. I cannot thank the manager, Saneta, enough for all that she does. Here's our story: When my husband & I got engaged, we were looking for a suitable venue for our wedding that applies to our convenience, guests, appearance, & pricing. We first went to Napa because he originally thought a vineyard was a great type of wedding. Unfortunately, that venue was too small, overpriced, & the location was too far. So that's when I decided to go on Yelp & look for a place that was closer. I came across Canyon View Event Center & the pictures look great & I reached out to Saneta & was greatly impressed w/ her timely response. When we first came to the venue & did a tour, my first thought was how great it would be to have a ceremony & reception in the same place especially for our guests who are older & came from different countries. When Saneta provided us the contract, my now husband was ready to pick up that pen & sign right away. However, I was still hesitant because I still want to keep our options open. After a few lookouts, I still cannot stop thinking about Canyon View & I'm so glad we chose this place for our wedding. Planning Throughout the planning process, Saneta & her assistant Jessica will answer all of your questions in a timely manner whether it's from recommendations, ideas, payments, etc. They make things a lot easier when you are unsure of anything. Not only do they respond quickly, Saneta gives great advice on the necessary things of saving your money. Its very hard to put into words how much I appreciate the staff and especially Saneta. First off the view is amazing from inside and outside. The layout is very spacious and the bar is placed in the perfect spot where its easily accessible and doesn't get crowded. Very important because half of my family was there damn near the whole night. About the staff - I cant speak enough to how helpful and knowledgeable Saneta was. She's definitely a huge resource to lean on. She advised us on so many things that we never even thought of like how cups you should buy per person, or how much cake you should buy. Her list of vendors after our initial meeting was a huge! For ASIAN families - My family is used to the Chinese restaurant 7 course meal sit down thing. My wife and I wanted something more modern like a country club or winery...but first off they were way way way more expensive with half the accommodations...plus having outside catering wasn't an option so yeah...There's a Chinese restaurant very close to the venue that we used and that pretty much topped everything off for us. Having the right food was our parents biggest concern and with that handled I cant say enough how much I recommend this place to anyone that is trying to please their Asian parents while not sacrificing on your own wants. Lastly. The bring your own beverages option SAVED SO MUCH MONEY. I'm so glad we chose this place. Just so much I can say about this place that writing doesn't even feel like I'm giving this place the justice it deserves. First time we walked to canyon view, me and my husband both love the place. We didn't think twice and booked it right away for our wedding. We booked it last year and our wedding was June 18, 2022. Who wouldn't love this place. The venue is very spacious. You can pretty much make this venue a dream party you can think of. Not only the inside was beautiful, but also the outside. Outside has a beautiful view and the fountain is really great for pictures. Also they have the best food. Our guests had no complain because they had so many choices of food. Who wouldn't want a buffet style? Even the bring your own alcohol and drinks is a perfect choice because you will save a lot of money. You know what your guests like so its easier to bring your own drinks. Also another great thing about this venue is a lot of parking and its free. We love this venue even more because of Saneta. We love working with Saneta from day one and til the end. She was very honest to everything you ask. We listened to all her tips and opinions. She is not there to sell talk you, but is there to help you with everything. I emailed her and she replies to me right away. When she is not around, Weis is there to help as well. I knew I wanted to have my engagement party at a venue locally around the East Bay because it would be the most convenient for my family & friends. I live in the San Ramon area so I have become quite fond of the serene surrounding hills & landscape. Before my boyfriend & I even got engaged, I browsed on instagram, wedding knot etc for potential venues I could have it at down the line. Canyon View Event Center was at the top of the list to visit. Once the engagement prep started, I scheduled a tour for my mother & I. We were greeted to Jessica, a coordinator for Canyon View. Off the bat, I loved how kind, informative she was about every question we had; ie outside catering cost, whats included in the venue, how the day of would potentially look like, vendor recommendations etc. Jessica & I clicked immediately, and my mom loved her as well! After leaving that appointment I knew that was the venue I wanted our engagement at. The views are immaculate, I loved the all glass windows surrounding the venue, hardwood floors, chandeliers, even the piano in the front entrance had the classic charm I was looking for. The process from beginning to end was smooth sailing thanks to Jessica! She is really amazing to work with & even her co worker, Saneta who I spoke to a handful of times was extremely sweet. I can be extremely OCD when it comes to planning but Jessica really accommodated to all my needs & repetitive questions. I trusted her throughout the process and genuinely felt like I could! And omg the night itself was magical! All of our guests had a phenomenal time, they loved the venue, the service & views. They all made sure to get in their sunset photos! This venue was AMAZING!! Saneta is SO RESPONSIVE and was on top of everything! She made sure the wedding day went smoothly, even being extra careful to accommodate my mom and sister's gluten allergy. I cannot say enough nice things about Saneta and the venue. We had to cancel our Tahoe wedding in early 2020 due to Covid, so when covid started hitting again, we were so scared - feeling like it was happening all over again. But Saneta stayed on top of all of the county ordinances and made sure that the required covid checks for vaccines/negative tests were all completed in just minutes for all 210+ guests and vendors - So fast my husband and I didn't even notice!!! She had so many staff members everything went so smoothly, our guests were thrilled and told us how safe they felt. Canyon View is an amazing location for weddings. They offer a great location with an amazing logistics team. If you want the venue for the full day, it would count as two separate events. Saneta was amazing and really responsive to us and our wedding planner. They have a great deal of experience doing Indian weddings, which was one of the main reasons we chose them. We also loved the view. Their location is incomparable to anywhere else we looked. I can't wait to see how the photos turned out, especially the golden hour photos. Saneta even stopped by our event, which made it all the more special. The day was really hot and the venue staff were amazing at adjusting and opening the indoor space to allow folks relief from the sweltering heat. I appreciate their flexibility and accommodation to us and going above and beyond to make the day amazing. I think my only suggestion would be to offer a full day location rental package that would not count as two events to help with some of the Indian Wedding logistics. read more

I cannot rave ENOUGH about Saneta and the Canyon View team. My husband and I had our wedding here on 10/22/21, but believe me when I tell you it was a journey getting here. We originally got engaged at the end of 2018 and first toured Canyon View in February of 2019. We fell in love with the layout, the flexibility with bringing in custom vendor teams, and that VIEW! We ended up signing our contract that year for a wedding date of October 2020. But then, as we all know, COVID. We ended up postponing twice and Saneta and her team were tremendously accommodating each time. They totally understood the complications we were experiencing trying to nail down a date, while everything was constantly changing. I cannot thank them enough for how cooperative they were, as it really was one less thing to worry about. The day of was more than I could've ever imagined. Everything was beautiful, and Saneta answered every single one of my annoying questions the month prior, so by the time our rehearsal rolled around, I felt at ease. We got really lucky with the weather too, and the venue truly got its moment. I will also say that we got a TON of compliments on the food from our guests, which, if you've been to weddings, you know is always a talking point. 5 stars for this beautiful Bay Area venue! We recently had our wedding here on 6/25/21 after 4 postponements and a venue change due to covid restrictions. We were able to have our wedding ceremony and reception shortly after California opened up and it was absolutely worth the wait. Everything worked out even better than our original plans and we could not be anymore grateful for the hospitality this venue showed us. The ceremony views are breathtaking, the reception area is spacious, the food was good and the bar has an option for BYOB which our guests thoroughly enjoyed. No issues with bringing in our own vendors and communication with the venue coordinator, Saneta was quick and easy, and she consistently checked on us and made sure we were taken care of during our event. Better late than never :) My husband and I had our wedding at the Canyon View Event Center May of 2022. We were one of the covid couples that had to postpone our wedding twice. Throughout the process of postponement and planning, Canyon View was extremely quick to answer any questions that we had. They made the process so easy! Literally I would email Canyon View with a question, and I would get a response sometimes within minutes. The venue itself is beautiful, especially with the renovations that were made this past year. When my partner (now husband) and I walked into Canyon View, we knew this was the venue for us. It is spacious, has a private parking lot, and is incredibly flexible to accommodate our large families. It is also amazingly beautiful to boot! We worked closely with Saneta and she has been sooo responsive and helpful. She answers all of our questions with such enthusiasm and helpfulness that it made the stressful wedding planning experience a lot less painful. During our wedding week I was worried about the change in rainy weather but she helped us develop contingency plans and worked with our vendors. She even stayed late one rainy night to help us! Saneta was our venue coordinator and I couldn't have asked for anyone better. She was amazing throughout the whole process and genuinely cared about providing the best service for our wedding reception. She is also very prompt when it comes to answering emails or returning calls and she never makes you feel like you're calling/emailing too much lol. San Ramon and Danville have some pretty nice venues to host weddings and other big formal events! There's Blackhawk Plaza, the Blackhawk Auto Museum, Bridges Golf Club, and now Canyon View! Two of our friends tied the knot there and it definitely an awesome venue. Canyon View indeed lives up to its name. It has a huge parking lot out front and just looks like an ordinary, big dining hall from the front. Once you walk around the building, it opens up into a large grassy area with a big fountain and and a pretty picturesque view over the entire San Ramon Valley. Sun was still out 4-5pm for the wedding ceremony (many guests and the Wedding Officiant wore shades). Around 6-7pm you might be able to catch a sunset, but wear a jacket because it'll get windy! The inside dining hall was also huge - easily accommodates 25 or more round tables and still plenty of room for dance area, open bar, coat check, and corners to set up photo booths and desserts! Plenty of natural light, high ceilings, and nice colors. Must have cost a fortune to rent this place out but it'll surely be memorable! read more
