We were fortunate to have Caryl and team for our wedding. We wanted a intimate and refined wedding…read morethat reflected our tastes and personalities. However, we had a limited budget, very little time to oversee details, and no idea where to start on the endless list of tasks that make up a wedding. Enter Caryl, Amy and Nicole. They worked closely with us to narrow down our personal styles. They provided guidance on timing, budget and project plan. They helped us find fantastic vendors both big and small from the local letterpress printer who did our invites to the cutest "Provence within a few blocks of Sonoma Square" indoor / outdoor venue with amazing food and wine to the right linen rentals to a florist we didn't think we could afford to a DJ that our wedding guests are still raving about. And, when we ran into billing and contract issues, Caryl was the one we turned to to resolve them on our behalf. Without the ROAR team, we would not have found these vendors, and we would have a hard time juggling the various aspects of putting on a wedding. Caryl's true talents reside in her ability to conceptualize and style beautiful events. Caryl provided recommendations on where we should spend and save to get the most "visual bang for our buck" in terms of florals, linens and decor. The result was a warm, beautiful, intimate winery wedding that truly represented our personal styles and showcased Sonoma to our many out of town guests who had never been to California. Even now, months after our wedding, guests still tell us that they enjoyed our wedding tremendously with comments about the amazing food, observations that we had one of the prettiest wedding they've ever attended, to fun memories about how well the DJ could read and energize the crowd. My husband and I can't take credit for any of these things, as it's all due to great work of the ROAR team.

I recently had the absolute pleasure of working alongside Andrea for an extravagant, Wicked-themed birthday celebration at the Grand Bay Hotel in San Francisco. As a DJ, I've been part of my fair share of complex productions--but this event? This one had layers. We're talking immersive design, multiple performances, theatrical moments, choreographed timing, lighting cues, and the kind of attention to detail that would make Broadway stage managers sweat. And yet--through every twist, change, last-minute curveball, and behind-the-scenes chaos--Andrea stayed calm, composed, and genuinely joyful. That smile never left her face. It wasn't just impressive; it was inspiring. What struck me most was Andrea's emotional intelligence and natural leadership. For us as DJs, a successful event relies heavily on the planner's clarity, timing, and communication. Andrea excelled at all three.
