    Working with Nicole was an absolute dream! She has such a calm and relaxed presence that instantly made the entire planning process (and especially the wedding day) feel so easy and stress-free. I really appreciated how often she checked in on the day of -- she made sure everything was running smoothly without ever feeling intrusive. Nicole has an amazing eye for detail, and she completely nailed the vision for our layout and table settings the day off. Everything looked even better than I imagined! She was so easy to work with, thoughtful with every decision, and truly made the day feel seamless. I can't recommend her enough to anyone looking for someone who is not only talented but genuinely wonderful to have by your side on such an important day. Furthermore, their florist crystal is absolutely amazing and nailed every floral arrangement and bouquet -- the flowers were stunning and truly magical. Working with 2 Friends Events made everything feel cohesive and beautifully thought out. I can't recommend them enough. They're incredibly talented, easy to work with, and brought our wedding vision to life in the most beautiful way possible.

    Jen was our month-of coordinator for our wedding in July 2022. After a bit of an issue with our previous coordinator I had to scramble about 4 months before our wedding to find a new day-of/month-of coordinator for our wedding. I had handled most of the planning already but I knew I needed someone to step up that day and run the show while I couldn't. Insert Nichole from 2Friends who was mid-planning my coworkers May 2022 wedding. Nichole responded quickly via email and answered my million questions (did I mention I was scrambling at this point?!). When we spoke over the phone I felt very confident in her expertise and knew in my heart I wanted to hire 2Friends. I did some due diligence and talked with a couple other vendors but in my heart I trusted Nichole and knew her team would do a great job. Jen was an absolute pleasure to work with the last month before our wedding. She was a great communicator and allowed me to send her marathon text messages whenever a thought would strike me. She gave great advice and I really appreciated all the planning documents she had me fill out and the master she owned for me. That helped me realize the things I had overlooked and also calmed me down with the realization that I was more on top of everything than I thought. She reached out the all my vendors and made sure they were going to show up on time and knew what to do. She ran our rehearsal like a champ which wasn't the easiest due to our 3.5 year old flower girl and on the day of the wedding literally everything went smoothly. EVERYTHING. Every time I saw Jen the day of the wedding, she would let me know we were on time or ahead of schedule. I don't know what sort of magic she worked but she was a rockstar at staying behind the scenes, solving problems, and then also appearing right when we were needed somewhere and gently moving us to the next task. I never felt rushed from her, and I think I only got one super minor question all day from her which was such a blessing. I had literally nothing to decide that day, I just got to enjoy!!     Meeting Melanie from 2 Friends for a site walk-through was an inflection point for our planning experience that marked a sharp reduction in stress and increased confidence that we would pull it all off. Melanie took the time to learn what we were all about and delivered a wedding that felt like it was uniquely ours.     I've worked with Patricia Torres on a couple smaller events the last few years and she has always made things go smoothly and beautifully. When my son proposed to his fiancé back in February and decided on a May wedding, I knew I had to hire Patricia ( I would've hired her regardless even if we had years to plan!). The wedding turned out to be a complete success, of course; and the best part was Patricia took every inch of stress away. In just 3 months of planning, most, if not all of our guest say it was the best wedding they've been to. Everyone was surprised how beautifully everything turned out to be considering the time frame.     This review is for both the planning and floral services offered by 2 Friends Events. PLANNING: We loved working with Nichole for our wedding because she was always so positive and upbeat, very responsive and available whenever we needed her, and she truly loved every part of the planning process. We shared the same level of excitement in planning out all of the design details, and I truly felt like she was my partner in the whole process. We had to reschedule our wedding twice because of COVID, and ended up completely changing course with only 7 weeks to pull together a wedding. We went from a 175-person wedding at a resort in Napa to 19 family members at my childhood home. Not only did Nichole help to change all of our contracts, but she also identified new vendors that we needed for catering, rentals, and more. Throughout the whole process of rescheduling, Nichole was there for us. She checked in to make sure we were ok, and gave us the space we needed to decide how we wanted to move forward with our wedding. She was so patient, supportive, and helped guide us toward the right plan for us. Even though there was so much unknown with COVID restrictions and what that meant for the wedding, we navigated it together and Nichole helped me feel comfortable with every decision. Nichole ended up planning two weddings for us, and never complained once. She always brought her A-game, and had a lot of unique and fun ideas that added a special touch to our wedding. I can't imagine going through the wedding planning process without her! Day of, everything ran so smoothly and Nichole handled it all like the professional that she is. I can't thank Nichole enough for her planning expertise, humor, support, and patience. Nichole is one of a kind, and anyone would be so lucky to work with her. FLORAL: Hands down, one of the first comments I hear about our wedding is always about the flowers, and rightly so. Chrystal was such a dream to work with -- a great listener, flexible, and just as excited about the florals as I was. I provided a Pinterest board with inspiration for how I wanted the chuppah, bouquet, centerpieces, and aisle flowers to look, and the finished product turned out better than I could have imagined. Chrystal went above and beyond -- she turned my dream vision into a reality. We rescheduled the wedding because of COVID, so some flowers from the original plan were no longer in season. That didn't stop Chrystal, she had peonies flown in from Brazil so that I could still have the same look from our original plan! Chrystal is a floral magician, and I am so glad we worked with her for our wedding.

    We used Chrystal for our wedding flowers. She was PHENOMENAL! The florals she created absolutely blew me away. My bouquet was absolutely gorgeous. The florals for the ceremony chuppah (jewish canopy) were amazing. It all just looked so elegant - especially considering she was so affordable. She was also wonderful to work with. Run don't walk to Sweet Pea Floral Designs if you are in search of a florist!!

It was one of the best decisions we made during planning! We worked with Christine Nguyen starting ~2 months in advance of the wedding. She met with us weekly to lock in our details (most notably, a super tight and clear timeline). We had everything so well planned (thanks to Christine) that our last few months leading up to the wedding were waaaay more relaxed than we would have anticipated. On the day of, Christine and her assistant Jane were on top of everything! I don't think I batted an eyelash the whole day because they were hustling so hard behind the scenes to make everything feel totally smooth for us. On tope of the incredible execution, it's worth noting that we felt Christine's genuine excitement for us all throughout the process. We hired her for day-of wedding coordination services, but really starting from a couple months out, Jessica was such a vital part of our wedding preparation process. Working with her you can always expect enthusiasm, preparedness, professionalism, and organization. I am incredibly type A as I used to work in event planning as well, and she gave me the space to be detail-oriented and specific while still offering so much support, advice, and flexibility. I didn't have to worry about the tiniest things because Jessica was already there solving it or picking up the pieces (literally - during our wedding someone dropped and shattered glass on the dance floor and within 2 seconds Jessica was sprinting towards it with a broom & dustpan). Every Zoom meeting we had left us feeling calm, peaceful, and confident in our wedding planning process.  Our actual wedding day was executed perfectly. When hiccups or delays inevitably occur, she handles them with calm and immediate problem-solving that literally no one can tell there was a hiccup at all. Her timelines are impeccable. I didn't have to worry about a single thing and still am in awe with how perfectly everything looked and ran. She communicated with all our vendors and guests with clarity and respect and was the glue that made all the components of our day come together cohesively. All our decorations were placed perfectly. We had a complicated wedding that required a complete flip of the room from ceremony to reception -- and it was all done seamlessly. Aside from her immense skill, poise, and grace as a master planner, I also cannot stress enough how GREAT of a person Jessica is - trust me when I say that your wedding day is so much more satisfying and memorable when the vendors you work with are good human beings who are genuinely excited for you - and that's exactly what Jessica is. She was very COVID-conscious and made us feel extra safe every time we met in person as well. She went above and beyond for us and she will always be such a positive memory from our day. :) Also, you're not going to find more reasonably priced wedding coordinators/planners in the Bay Area with the skill level Jessica has. She is so fair with her pricing and doesn't hike up what she charges just because everything in the wedding industry is crazy expensive (although to be fair, she could, probably should, and definitely deserves all the raises in the world). When my friends and I were deep in conversations, I forgot we were in a closed room and it felt like we were sitting at a table in a forest instead! We loved all the fun and pretty details in the woodland room. We loved the other rooms too and appreciate how we were able to walk through all of them, take pics, and play around! We loved all of the food and drinks that were served. We had blueberry scones, tea, lemonade, various finger sandwiches, salad, cheesecake, and sparkling cider. We were able to take home the leftover food and we had plenty to eat between the 6 of us. Denise is friendly and easy to communicate with both via email and in person. I'm so glad I reserved her woodland room for my bridal shower. She made the day feel so special and fun! I would recommend Pretty Tea Parties for anyone interested in doing an unforgettable get together! I hope to book with Denise again for future celebrations! :)

That said, they do offer gluten-free options, and their gluten-free scone was fabulous!

She was so kind and accommodating (even when I made some last minute asks two weeks prior to the wedding) and willing to work within our price point. I sent her a few example photos of what I wanted, and she took it from there! While we never met in person leading up to the big day, she's communicative and asked a ton of questions to make sure she could bring our vision to life. SHE DID! (See photos.) When planning a wedding, there are so many details and decisions to make (ie: stress) over. Don't make things more complicated than they have to be! If you've found Anna - CELEBRATE! From the start, she was really easy to communicate with, took in all the photo examples I sent her, and she completely incorporated what I was picturing for our wedding day. I didn't see a lot of examples of Anna's work in the style I wanted beforehand so I wasn't totally sure how the arrangements would look, but the flowers were even more beautiful than I had hoped. She really nailed the loose & romantic look that we'd talked about, and since we didn't really have "wedding colors" she incorporated the fall tones that we wanted perfectly. She was at the venue to set up right on time, made sure all the arrangements were placed in the right spots, and came back at the end of the night to pick up the larger vases and trees we'd rented from her. The more I look at photos, the more I realize just how much Anna did for us that day, from the fairy lights strung around the manzanita trees, to the 6-foot leaf garland at our head table, to the aisle arrangements in galvanized buckets. The flowers at our wedding were probably the one thing I had the highest expectations for, and Anna gave us something so beautiful and memorable.

    Hiring Courtney was easily the best decision we made in our wedding planning process. "Above and…read morebeyond" does not begin to cover Courtney's level of service, care, and thoughtfulness. Throughout the months we worked together, Courtney always made us feel like a priority, though she was no doubt juggling so much. On our wedding day, every detail we worked on was executed flawlessly, and we were truly able to breathe and be present because we knew Courtney had it all under control. We got many compliments from our guests on how smooth and relaxed the day felt, and that is a testament to Courtney's incredibly hard work. I would also note that Courtney was completely respectful of our budget and priorities. She puts in the time to learn what is important to you, and keeps that in mind as she offers excellent, candid advice. Courtney also went out of her way to save us money in ways we simply would not have thought of on our own. A final note to anyone on the fence about hiring a coordinator: Do it! (Specifically, Courtney!) I consider myself a fairly organized and detail-oriented person, so when I started planning, I wasn't sure that I needed a coordinator. But I now believe that the more organized you are, the more you appreciate and value a partner at (or, in Courtney's case, way above) your level. Weddings are truly their own category of event, and there is no substitute for a coordinator's guidance and experience--especially someone as amazing as Courtney!

My daughter was dealing with a lot of stress because of her job at the FDA/politics. Also, the three did not like the extra cost of the Wedding Planner & viewing it as a needless expense. Her wedding plans was not her main priority even thought she wanted a 100 person wedding. One thing her and her fiancé agreed on is they wanted to invite pretty much everyone. That of course scared the living daylights out of me since I knew the couple was not rich. I think at one point I even threatened her that I was going to bring 100 McDonald's hamburgers for the reception if she didn't get on the planning. I asked a good friend who is a successful caterer in her own right (40yr +); who could she recommend. I might add that she has worked with many Wedding Planners through out her career. She instantly said without hesitation that Courtney really impressed her. My friend went on to explain about the wedding planning world. It is expensive and items can be recommended pushing the wedding easily out of budget. She liked that Courtney stayed within the wedding budgets. They did spend a little more but it was reasonable. All I knew was Sarah had to schedule/confirm many different moving parts in advance and she was not doing that. Another thing was to not go into debt or have a wedding beyond her means. I first called Courtney and immediately knew she was exactly what my daughter needed. Courtney and my daughter have the same temperament and easy to get along attitude. She gently gave the bride and groom a reality check about the cost of weddings. I called Courtney and immediately found her professional but with a very warm personality; much like my daughter. Also, I liked her enthusiasm about the project. I felt very comfortable confiding sensitive details regarding the wedding. This was a major plus. I set up a three-way call with Courtney, myself and my daughter, Sarah. I introduced them and ended my part of the call. My daughter immediately hired her. My daughter is pretty darn smart. I loved that I could stop pulling my hair out and gnashing my teeth. Courtney would take care of my daughter and I could just have normal stress free conversations again with Sarah. And the most important thing; Eric and Sarah could have the wedding of their dreams close to budget too! I usually talk to my daughter once a week just to chat. She would tell me that Courtney had assignments she and Eric had to accomplish monthly/weekly. Did I mention Courtney is brilliant! It was so amazing that Courtney orchestrated/worked with the venue, the menu and bar, music, fresh flowers and photography. Each one was performed beautifully. Courtney made it so easy because she did all the work. I think the only thing I was asked to do was to provide about 30 songs to the song list, attend the rehearsal dinner and wedding. Of course my wonderful daughter ask for a mother/daughter dance which include a snippet of MJ, Thriller & George Michael, Careless Whisper. Warning: be careful what you tell your 4 yr old; they might remember. Really that was it. I don't know how to describe this absolutely gorgeous & fun wedding. Everyone in the wedding party was stress-free, which is exactly what you wish for. I loved how Courtney would listen to input. We could trust her to tell us the truth on whether it was appropriate or not and we listened to her suggestions. One thing I insisted on was that the bride & groom give her a generous tip. It was obvious that Courtney worked very hard on this wedding and presented an absolute gorgeous event a little over budget. BTW, the tip is non-negotiable but the amount is. I insisted that the tips were good because the wedding was that great. My daughter later told me I was right to insist on a Wedding Planner. I'm still laughing. The bride and groom, the wedding party will remember a perfect & relaxing event. The chamborg bong was an event in it self and everyone should have a very well behaved coyote attending. It must be said that we adore Courtney. We can never thank her enough and we'll never forget her. Wishing her the very best~ ~No, this is not a paid advertisement.

Other small details would make a minus one star but if i were to plan another wedding for someone I knew this would be an amazing option. The good first: COMMUNICATION: The staff were amazing at communicating with the wedding party and being patient with our questions and concerns. We picked a package but because we did brunch (which isnt really a thing they do but they made it work for us) we tweaked our day and they really worked with us subbing things out and subbing other things in. Like they gave us a choice to have mimoas and cut down on an hour of bar time (who can have brunch without welcome mimosas!!!) :) THE FOOD: OMG I got many great compliments on the food and again it was brunch but very filling. I almost wished I was a guest so I could fully experience it all! THE SETUP OF THE WEDDING ITSELF: THIS IS WHAT COUNTS AS A BRIDE! When we walked in the room for the first time during the rehearsal I wanted to cry. Happy tears. Everything was JUST HOW I PLANNED IT IN MY HEAD! I kept sitting down at the tables and looking around and was just in awe with how they put together all of my details. It was PERFECT. I felt like I was in a dream. They even set up the games for the kids outside in the shade. PERFECT. COST: I thought the cost was actually very reasonable. For an all-inclusive wedding we got a lot of bang for our buck. Our package included an officiant who was amazing, a DJ host who was hilarious and let us lead our day the way we wanted, a photo booth which was amazing, beautiful table cloths, chargers, beautiful chairs and a buffet brunch PLUS unlimited alcohol! SETTING: We were able to set up the arbor with our own decor and it was simply amazing. We brought in a large circular wreath we made to hang during the ceremony and the florist let us borrow some stands to put fresh flowers we brought in. The bad: This section is not as long! LOL TURNOVER: Staff turnover did affect us a bit as we had to re-explain things when new staff came in. We also got into a hiccup because we were supposed to get married in March 2020 and yall know how that went. We ended up moving the wedding twice which was not easy. We had to get the manager involved because there was some miscommunication but because it all got settled I cant complain too much now. DAY OF: It was very hot for an outdoor July wedding and the guests were super hot. I would have liked it if the hostess would have brought out water while waiting for the ceremony to begin and during the ceremony as one of our guests fell out from heat stroke (literally). The ambulance was not a pretty sight. :( MY WAITING: I found myself ready on time but didn't get the okay to walk out until I was technically late. A bit more communicating with the bride would be good. If it was an issue with the rest of the wedding party that would be good to know next time. COCKTAIL HOUR: During photos we the bridal party did not get a chance to eat the appetizers and I would have liked it if they would have set us some on our ballroom table to enjoy. I didn't get to eat any as I was busy the whole hour taking photos. GETTING READY ROOM: I wish they had a place for the groom to get dressed. He had to "pretend" in the main hallway. Also our room was pretty small considering I had a small wedding party. The bathroom was also in the hall so if I had to use the loo I had to risk someone seeing me. DONT LET THE CONS STOP YOU. This place may be all inclusive but you CAN have your say in many of the things. We brought in tons of our own decor and it was just so nice. I am a real hands on person and felt like I had a great deal of personalization in my wedding here. Just heed some of my warnings to avoid if you have a summer wedding.
