I had X rays and an MRI on my hip because of chronic pain. The orthopedic doctors I met with didn't seem to know much. They offered a cortisone injection not because I needed it, but because that's all they know how to do. Anyway, I was amazed at Karen's deep knowledge of body mechanics. She had a clear understanding of the structures involved and how they connected to other parts of my body. She understood what was happening in my body. Best of all she was able to help me reduce the pain and improve my movement and functioning overall. She worked on me directly and taught me how to work on myself. I continue to use the things she taught me on a daily basis to improve my posture and physical functioning. Plus she is a super nice and caring person. I recommend her for anyone feeling hopeless about their physical problems, or if you just want to improve how you move.

My membership fee was deducted on July 28th for the month of August and I was told it would not be refunded even though I did not attend any classes in the month of August. I firmly believe this is an example of poor customer service by Club Pilates.

There was no one checking people in or around to even show me where everything was in the studio. After finding out who the teacher was and asking what we needed for the particular class I got set up on my bike. I did not feel welcomed at all or even comfortable to ask. I emailed the facility wishing for a refund for my month back and I would kindly pay for the one class I took. Now, this was back in March when I took this class. It is not May and I have not seen this refund. I have been in contact with the owner and have been given run around excuses as to why. Blaming it on the mindbody app when I called myself and spoke with someone right away who explained that the refund comes from the facility. Once, I relayed the information there was some reason it was not able to be refunded electronically and would mail me a check. This again, was over 3 weeks ago and still nothing. The lack of professionalism here is unbelievable. I am so disgusted with how I have been treated.

Lindsey is an excellent practitioner of Thai massage. She is professional, relaxed and calming. I have been going to her now for almost one year and plan on continuing to use her services for years to come. Her massage is not your typical massage. As a physician I would describe what she does as deep tissue, therapeutic and full body. She has both healed my old injuries, decreased my recovery time with new ones, and increased my flexibility and range of motion. As an older athlete she has enabled me to compete at a much higher level in my sport (fencing.) I always leave feeling so much better. If you go I recommend the 90 minute sessions instead of the 60 minute sessions as that gives her enough time to massage all of my muscles. I go twice a month and would recommend once a week to once a month depending on your needs. read more

First thing's first: Thai massage isn't a "regular" massage. It's really designed to stretch and heal, and Lindsey puts such an emphasis on that element. She'll remember your injuries or tension areas, even suggesting stretches you can do in between appointments to help you feel better in your day to day. Something I love about Lindsey's Thai massage practice is that while it has the technique and benefits of Thai massage, it's not quite as rough as other practitioners I've visited. I can still relax, especially because of Lindsey's communication and responsiveness. Genuine is a good word to describe her style; genuine care, genuine thought, and genuine interactions. Having never had a Thai massage before, or really knowing what it was, I was a little nervous going in, but Lindsey was extremely welcoming, creating a peaceful atmosphere while she worked. She was very receptive to my pain cues when things were going a little too hard for me (I have fibromyalgia) and gave me tips on how to work some problem areas on my own at home.
