The check-in was easy and the Staff is available to meet and offer guidance one you arrive. They don't allow golf carts in the parking lot so you want to get there early to allow adequate time for check-in. The course was in very good condition. Tee boxes were well marked and in good repair. The fairways are not exceedingly wide so you will be in trouble if you are not accurate off the tee. My biggest complaint was all the granite rocks, just a real pain and on several holes can really impact your shot selection. There is some up and down and few elevated tee boxes but not a lot. My favorite hole was #17, a 135 yard Par 3. There is a big granite rock that partially blocks a clear path/view to an elevated green. You don't want to be left or you are on Mt Rushmore and not in a good way.

It caters mostly to members; the public is just a nuisance and a source of revenue. The bartender was the only customer-friendly person at the place.

While we had a group in front of us, we never had to wait - for all 18 holes. The course is absolutely beautiful, well maintained, with asphalt cart paths throughout. After golf, we had dinner at the club. The dining area is divided into 2 area - a bar and a separate dining room. We had a delightful waitress, Nora, who was vivacious and attentive. We all had different entrees- all of which were well prepared and extremely generous. We would recommend this club to anyone for both the golf and the dining.

The park has a fun "music" area with outdoor xylophone type instruments and drums. Swings, Slides, Splash pad, and Sand areas to play. Plus all you can eat chicken, hot dogs, burgers, soda, and some salad options. Then you get to go on all the rides. It was a nice day spending with my work friends and got a nice day at Canobie! Plus the Taylor Swift show this year was awesome! She had three shows, and two different sets! I liked the second set since it was Taylor's newer songs. You pay for a ticket but it's unlimited rides for all day. I've been coming for over twenty years now and some things are the same but some things are new and you always enjoy yourself. I found out the train ride isn't running due to repairs of an Italian restaurant so they had to remove the tracks but I was told it will be back, like maybe next year. So you go on a boat ride on the lake, or you take a ride on top of the lake for a breathtaking view on the Sky Ride, go on the merry go round, the Ferris wheel, get wet on the Boston Tea Party. So much to do! The people working here are helpful and friendly. So if you haven't been to Canobie Lake Park in Salem NH, put it on your list to do this summer.
