    Side lamp in bedroom

We stayed here the last weekend of June, to avoid driving to Yosemite 2x in a weekend for our boys summer camp. We stayed in cabin 54 The pictures on the website look very well maintained and clean. Yet in person it was very unkept. The pool was slightly green, and Park had a few broken pieces, and a ton of weeds. I am so glad we didn't bring our golden doodle, because the dog park was dirt and weeks, along with our cabin area. We arrived an hour and a half before check in, we were told by the lady at the front desk that our cabin was a priority, however after an hour of waiting we had to leave to go pick up our son, we were told at 2pm that they were just need to add linens to our cabin and it will be ready, but we had to go. Check in time is 3pm. When we arrived back to the park at 4:30pm, we were told that the staff was still putting linens in our cabin. We couldn't check in until 5pm... 2 hours after their check in time. When I booked this cabin, I specifically asked the staff if the beds came with linens, or if we had to bring our own. I was told that this is similar to a hotel and all lines are provided. Grated after we checked in the office closed. We didn't realize till bed time that both bunks up stairs, and the pull out bed and no linens!! I tried calling the after hours number, only to be forwarded to voicemail. We had dirty dishes in the cabinets, old spices with spice residue in the cabinet, let over open bag of ice in the freezer, a sock in bedroom drawer. The TV WiFi wasn't working, dusty and dirty fans in the bathroom and the bedroom. AC unit in the living room wasn't working. The bedroom had 2 bedside lamps, one with a busted lamp shade and the other missing completely. The bedroom light, was flickering, and then shutting completely off, we had concerns of a shortage, but was told it was the light bulbs. The loft carpet smelt like piss. Siding coming off the staircase. Kitchen chandelier was hanging up by a plastic shoe hook. Just felt really dingy and dirty after seeing things. For the price it definitely wasn't worth it: the workers were semi helpful, and refunded me a night.

Our "campsite" was $100 a night for nothing. No trees, no fire ring, the spot was not level and if we needed to shower or use the restroom it was way over on the other side of the park. There is no grass anywhere, only gravel and stickers that my dog was covered in when we left the "dog park". This place is ridiculously overpriced. Granted, maybe in season, the pool (no Jacuzzi) would add slightly more value. No water pressure!

Great spot to relax. Friendly staff to answer your questions. Really enjoyed our visit. Right off highway in Coarsegold. Thanks, Marshall 7/31/23

Just like the pictures the yurt was great the kids had a good time! The staff was friendly from checking in to movie night. It was pretty hot during our stay thank goodness for the pool.

We have a 40-foot Phaeton. I can't recommend this park for such vehicle. Very steep incline at entry to sites. Many, many permanent residents. Terrible pull through sites. Very narrow, trees are too wide. Extremely unleveled lot. Had to move to the next space, which wasn't much better. Still could not level. Called the office twice, no answer. There's barely any graveled on the sites, muddy, garbage dumpsters were overflowing, and another steep incline to exit the park. Stay elsewhere.

We went back a second time and this time had a good experience with begin a better spot and the area that were bumpy was fix and good job on your repairs of the road.

This place was great. We had cabin 56 which sits on a little hill with a view of the campground. It wasn't busy the weekend we went which was a nice touch because it was quiet on our end. The staff was very friendly from the time we checked in to the end. The cabin seems pretty new so with the kitchen appliances. There is a market about a mile a way ( turn left when you exit mile down the road on the right near gas station) they have pretty much everything if you forget something. Swimming pool is nice and big the only thing it's not heated. They have a nice playground for the little ones. Both places are near the front office. Will recommend. Wi-Fi is a bust just a heads up.

With so many campgrounds closed or way over crowded due to covid this summer, we lucked out and found this great campground in Coarsegold. It was about 1 1/2 drive into the south entrance of Yosemite, 20 min drive to Bass Lake for fun boating, 15 min drive to the Sugarpine railroad and 20 min drive to the Nelder Grove to hike. We had awesome sites on a corner, some sites were very close together for the lager rigs. Awesome newer pool area which was a reprieve from the 100+ temperature we had in June! Nice restroom/shower facilities also if needed. Would have been nice If the sites were raked over a bit to clean up from precious user but overall a great campground. Pretty hilly so hard for kids to ride around too much and a nice hike uphill to the pool from the lower sites. I'd definitely come here again to be able to enjoy the nearby areas!

We were very disappointed in this Campgound. Paid $82 for a RV-Delux-PullThru site. The site was not worthy of the cost. It was gravel no grass which was in between a couple of pin-oak trees. . Since we came in after hours there was a site map outside with our name on it which was ok.. but the directions to the site were not clear. The person who drew the directions marked over the street name and had us going onto the site the wrong way. Also their street signs were not pointing in the correct direction. Which made it very confusing. Had to stay a second night because our friend had a mechanical problem. we were charged $93 for the second night. Only good note was the outside maintenance staff were very friendly and helpful in trying to assist our friend with getting his slides in.

Our absolute favorite rv park in the thousand trails system. The road is a beast but just take your time and go slow. The staff here goes above and beyond to maintain the park and make sure everyone feels welcome. No internet, so hang out with your family, play mini golf, frolic in the river, or play at the lodge. We've gone twice this year and I can't wait to go again. Plan over a week so you can enjoy Yosemite and have time to just hang out and enjoy the rv park.

It's literally across from the fishing area, picnic area, farthest from the traffic and road noise. The water has a fountain and ongoing movement of water, perhaps that's why it seems more natural looking vs stagnant and gross. Most of this area and the opposite side of the river is undeveloped so it has a nature feel that most campsites I've been to don't give. And I've been to lots of them. My Hubby and sons caught like 7, 8, and 20 fish they said. All catch and release. Tons of catfish & bass. Some are so huge. Keep staring at the water near the small metal dock there and you might see them all. We are in site 122. The road noise woke me up at 6am, so I put in my earplugs and slept until 9am. For my future self, make sure to keep a permanent earplug stash in the RV. Other times I've been in other sites and the noise wasn't an issue and we've stayed here at least 3-4x. It's not glamorous, it doesn't have a ton of extra like a pool, putting greens, pool table, snack bar, etc. But it does have a small, shaded kids play area, volleyball net, basketball hoop, shaded picnic tables. It's so country feeling and relaxing. Its quiet & thats what I prefer when I go camping. This is one of my favorite camping spots in the cooler months of early Spring like March. One day I'd like to come here & camp on my way to Yosemite or Kings Canyon. Great rates & highly suggest.

After staying for nine days we found out that you had to become an escapee's member and the cost was $49. To join for one year. The park refunded this in a free night credit. While staying here we met the park manager and took a tour after finding out they are a 55+ members park. After reviewing the park information and seeing what a beautiful park this was we decided to make this our home base. We travel to many places after retirement but found that we needed a place to hang out hat for Dr. appointments, and staying connected with our family in the Central Valley. We bought in and picked our site. The unique nature of living here is that the members here all volunteer to help keep cost down to run the park. This gave us a sense of ownership and community. We volunteer 3 days per week for approximately 4 hours per day and join in on special events to help set up or organize events that are for the members. It's not like having a job but more like going to hang out with folks that have the same interests. There is constantly an event going on weather you like to play cards, pool, dominoes, darts, working out , or outdoor activities like pickle ball or mini golf the fun is endless. This amazing place has beautiful views of the Sierra foothills and there's even a casino across the mountain. Becoming a member here has given us a place to call home in between our travels and our site remains ours when we're in the park. Awareness: Wanting to get my rig out and do some camping…read more The perfect opportunity weekend arose when my daughter decided to visit Disneyland with her boyfriend for her birthday weekend. In other words. The wife, dog and I were free to travel without guests. I chose Naval Air Station Lemoore as our destination for its close proximity, low park fee and the security of being on a naval base. Narrative: This was our first time visiting NAS Lemoore and its RV Park so, not wanting to arrive to any surprises, I did what research I could before our trip. Unfortunately, the Youtube videos of the park were over six years old and didn't provide any information such as directions from the bases main gate or, where to find space numbers once at the park. There was also little to no reviews on any of the RV websites or forum boards to help. But after contacting the bases Morale, Welfare and Recreation (MWR) office, who oversee the RV park. I was able to look at the old Youtube footage and piece together where our space (number 3) was actually located once we arrived. Scene: The RV park is located on the housing side of the base. The RV sites are extremely wide concrete slabs but, the sites are only about 40 feet long. Not enough room to park your Truck or car on the side of your RV but, just enough to park in front of it. Each site comes with 50/30 amp hook-ups. Water. Sewer and cable ready. Additionally, each site has its own metal picnic table. Trash can and a BBQ pit. Open fires from a fire pit are not allowed unless your pit has an arrester. Gas fire pits are okay to use. The park also has a Mens / Womens restroom and, two FREE washer and dryer's for use. Across the street from the RV park is a McDonalds. And to the left of the RV park entrance is a nice brewery / restaurant named Spuds. Adjacent to the RV park is a golf driving range. The outdoor aquatic center and a fenced in dog park with a separate are in the park for smaller dogs weighing 15 pounds or less. Plenty of dog "potty" bags are available trough the dog park. Evidence: Overall, this RV park is super nice and the price we paid for two full nights was $24 dollars. There are a few things you should know before you decide to visit this park though. - When making reservations. Call the MWR office directly. Going through the DOD Lodging website can only make the reservations but, won't be able to tell you your space number. - When you call the MWR office to make your reservations. Be sure to ask what space number you'll have. Your email conformation will NOT have this information. - When arriving at the bases gate. Do NOT use the truck gate. Stay in the right hand lane through the main gate. This is the same for your exit off the base with you RV. The exit looks light (and it is) but, going slow and using the left exit lane may be your only option if leaving on a weekend or holiday. The truck gate is not open on weekends or holidays. - If you drive or pull with a Diesel Truck. The NEX gas station has diesel fuel but, its only located on the island next to the Exchange. - Most of the RV park spaces are currently occupied by long term campers or active military waiting for housing. Expect to see and possibly hear dogs from your neighbors sites. - I was told by the resident manager (Bill) this park will be closing on March 1, 2022 and was expected to be closed for several months while the park is refurbished and expanded. Be sure to call MWR well in advance to see if the park is accepting reservations. Recommendation(s): NAS Lemoore's RV Campground is extremely nice. The amenities can't be beat nor can the price. If you find yourself in the Central Valley of California. Have access to the installation and want to camp and relax cheap, this is your place.

Stayed there for a few months and the highlight was seeing Sadie. Sadie was a stray dog being cared for by long term residents at the park. She was a very calm dog who would just follow the people she knew and relax and lay down. She was there for months. Very calm and peaceful dog which was why I think we liked her so much was how calm she was especially being a stray. Unfortunately the owner Serena had the humane Society to come and get her saying Sadie was aggressive and biting dogs at the park. Which was a lie. When the humane society officer came and picked her up 5 people were telling the him that wasn't true and she lied so they would be forced to pick her up. But he had to pick her out and put it down on her record. He said it's a red flag which makes it nearly impossible for her to be adopted and most likely be euthanized. She sealed her fate with a lie. There were other ways to go about the situation. The owner is a cold hearted and cruel person. The park itself is maintained but they have a field rat and fly problem. We move around a lot and never have had an issue with mice or rats. While we were there a rats got into the carriage of our rig. The next day I called the office to ask them if there are mice or rats and they said yes field rats and said they had an experience with one there as well. Gross. The flys can get out of control there as well. Definitely will not stay here again and don't recommend staying here. Sad that I got to see just how inhumane and cold the owners are. Not a place I will spend my money at ever again. RIP Sadie
