Absolute Disaster!!!…read more I hired this person for hardwood floor grinding and refinishing. Pictures tell the story. If you are looking for someone to turn a simple job into an electrical adventure, leave a mess behind, and create new problems you didn't have before -- this may be the person for you. On top of the poor workmanship, he was extremely rude and disrespectful. He attempted to connect his machine directly to a live electrical line, which resulted in damage to the electrical panel and an expensive oven showing a "Bad Line" error. Apparently, quality control and safety procedures were optional. Blamed the panel. The job was left with trash scattered around, and somehow the priority became demanding payment before the work was completed. Asked for additional $150 to "dispose" of the trash that he left behind. To add to the experience, machines were left sitting on carpet, creating another potential mess. We ended up contacting the local police. A reminder for anyone considering hiring him: do not release payment until you have personally inspected every detail of the work. Before making the deal demand full clean-up and disposal of trash. Take before pictures. Check your appliances, check your electrical system, and check that your property is actually left in better condition than when he arrived. Unfortunately, the experience was not the kind anyone wants.

Todd was prompt, courteous, and professional in his communication. I was super impressed by his customer service. I was never made to feel "dumb" when asking many, many questions about the process. He took the time on the phone with me to go over everything and address all concerns. Additionally, once we set a date, he did an excellent job of staying in touch about the upcoming project. He confirmed times/availability on a few different occasions. 2.) Honesty and Trustworthiness: Conti Floors was very upfront about pricing and provided a thorough estimate. I never felt he was being shady or that I was being overcharged. Again, all questions were openly answered about pricing and cost. 3.) I use to paint houses myself until my health no longer permitted me to do so, I am very critical and walked around my house multiple times daily looking for mistakes I found none. when I picked the color for my house it turned out to be more yellow than my wife liked so we asked Adam how much it would cost to re do it. I fully expected him to give a very high price, he did not. The price he charged to fix my error in color was more than reasonable and fair. Also, I needed some moderate repair to my roof near my chimney and his worker, Doug was very knowledgeable about roofs and agreed to do the repair, again I was expecting a much higher cost than what I was charged. The repair was done quickly and professionally. Adam and Doug had to replace several pieces of old rotted wood on my home and again, the job was done with extreme professionalism and at a very fair price. After Adam and Doug left, my neighbors were quick to comment on how great my house looks with fresh paint, the efficiency and accuracy of the work Adam and Doug did was not lost on my neighbors either. If you are looking for an excellent painter that wont price gouge you look no further than ABC Painter. As I said the other painters I got quotes from were ridiculously priced, one wanted $10,000.00 for the same scope of work Adam did for a fraction of the cost. I say this because I know from my conversations that the owners of those other companies had no intention of being on site, and no one cares as much about his/her business as the owner. Chuck and his son did an EXCELLENT job at making both of these showers look so much nicer. Since they did such a good job on the showers, we also had them do some work on our stone tiles in the entry way and in our kitchen area. They definitely cleaned this up and significantly improved how this older tile looks. We swift and steam clean the tiles a few times a year, but their work made a really big difference in the appearance. We walk in these areas quite often during the day, so we really appreciate the improvement. They arrived timely for both appointments, and were efficient in their work - it took exactly how long they had estimated. They were very personable, but also pretty quiet while they did their work.
