My initial yelp review was a 5 star rating. Retaining the firm and communication started out great! I utilized the Hona app to follow my case as it has been going through the process. 7 months passed by and there had been no more communication. I sent emails, left messages on an Ai recording and almost a week later, I FINALLY spoke to a live person. She made me aware that my submitted application was in progress and awaiting someone on the disability side of things to get my application and work on it from the government side of things. All I want occasionally is a follow up to say they've not forgotten about me. Don't leave me in the wind with absolutely no communication. I will see how things go moving forward and if all else fails I'll take the necessary measures to get another law firm to represent me. read more

I started my disability case on December 16th, all forms I thought were filed and examined by this clowns came back for no completion, I went threw 2 case worker's, and some how they decided not to file for ssi, without considering my opinion, 3 major lower back surgeries onable to walk, and a traumatic head injury, I fired there asses for being worthless, now they want a payment, for doing nothing and causing me harder troubles than I already had, don't use these law firm they probably didn't finish high-school read more

Run as fast as you can to any other law firm for SSDI. By the time I finally reached out to Liner Legal, because I haven't heard from them in months, plural "Months", they advised me that I was NOT to contact SSDI myself because they were the only ones that should do that..... I had already left multiple messages for SSDI, because I had no idea what the lawyer's office was doing, if anything.... How was I supposed to know that I wasn't supposed to contact them directly with absolutely NO communication from Liner Legal in months. I do not understand this process, they are supposed to be the professionals in this, not me. That is why I went through an attorney in the first place. I was even assigned Michael Liner himself as my attorney, making me feel like it would be handled correctly and with care.... I was wrong. I left 4 messages after that and called between 10-20 times. It took over a week for them to finally call me back, after I was told no more than 24-48 hours for a call back from them. The paralegal couldn't understand why I was upset and was just looking at my notes for the first time when she was on the phone with me..... She told me that SSDI just wanted to know if I was willing to do a consultative exam. I told her that the letter from SSDI clearly stated a deadline that I had to set up the consultative exam or they would just make a decision based off if the limited documentation received. My Liner Legal paralegal, NOT ATTORNEY, advised they just wanted to know if I was willing to do the exam and that they, "LINER LEGAL", simply let them know I was willing to do it and they would call if Social Security wanted to set one up. I told her that this was NOT what the letter said and told my husband to get the letter so I could read it to her.." which i can send a copy of if requested". Apparently, after months of not hearing from them and a week of not getting a response to multiple calls and voicemails, which I can also send verification of, I was not allowed to be frustrated or upset by this situation, and she hung up on me.... After months of hearing nothing and a week of hearing no response to multiple "urgent" messages with both a human and their AI voicemail, I was the one out of line.... After Months of nothing, no returned voicemails or timelines set forth by their firm, and she hung up on me..... Most unprofessional company I hae EVER delt with. Go to any other "LAW" firm to help you with your SSDI case if you want to win, you do not want to use them. I am not sure if they drag it out to make more money, as they get 25% of your back pay, or do not have enough people to answer/take care of issues thier clients have, but you need to look elsewhere if you are looking for someone to help you win your case as quickly and painlessly as possible. I just hope this review helps anyone else out there who does not know where to turn for help. Please look somewhere else. I know how heartbreaking it is not to be able to contribute to your family anymore and how frustrating it is waiting. I only hope to help others make an informed decision. I wish I read these reviews before I selected this law firm. I just started this process 2 weeks ago and all the red flags mentioned in the reviews are there. The AI receptionist that promises callbacks that never happen. The assigned paralegal that keeps sending reminders about completing forms that you've communicated are already completed. If they won't follow up with a client, why would anyone have any confidence that they follow up with SSA in a timely fashion. It's the delays that make your case worth their while and I understood that from the beginning. But the real kicker is the lack of concern on how they handle your data. HIPAA data and SS numbers not encrypted or redacted before sending the information via 3rd party unprotected email. I understand it's a legal firm, not IT, but I sent them emails and left messages that this is not secure. Nada damn thing. I worked in Cybersecurity, reviewing apps for personal data leakage is what I did, maybe they should have bothered to read the forms I filled out instead of sending robot messages. I believe this company worked for the little guy once, but greed zaps the soul. You might want to look elsewhere. read more

Let me preface this by telling you this is a premier law firm in my opinion based on my interactions with them thus far. I signed on with them because they are salt of the Earth people, they do charity work! Not a lot of lawyers do such a thing. The majority of lawyers get a bad reputation for just wanting a paycheck and not having the care aspect. This Law Firm and its representatives absolutely have your best interest at heart and how they can better help you. Also, a lot of lawyers will not risk the numbers game by taking your case if they don't think they can win it. These lawyers are intelligent, savvy problem solvers, you want them on your side. I should have read through the reviews before donating my time, But upon doing the ijntake I specififically aske them if they handle the fed case after the final appeal and then reaplying. I was put on hold for several minutes while it was confirmed They would take my case. I had just oped my fed case. prior. The next full ohr of my time was wasted answering questions. I receved a email requiesting more information such as the final denial letter. I ussuemd I had sent it not opening any documents in my folder but mkust have missed the one they wanted I emailed back and inforjd them it may take a day or so to find it. After that email they dicided not to take my case because the documents I sent orioved the ALJ decision was fair, But I am completely disabled and I have all the recepys that show the ALJ descsion was incorrect. Reading the other feedback showed me they do handel federal cases and opening new cases and I was never given a opertiunity to send the documents they requested. I think its better reading the negative feedback because I can vuisualize myself being in that same position with this agency. Looking at all other agencieys none of them actually have good ratings. They don't even care about your case I hired them over a year and a half ago maybe heard from them twice throughout and the account manager they stuck me with was even worse. She never called me back. She never got back to my emails. I want to say Michael is awesome. Out of 2 of the largest social security law firms in Cleveland ,Ohio, he was the only one willing to take on my case with me having seizures and trying to obtain Disability. He fought for me as if he was fighting for himself. When I wanted to give up he would not let me. His knowledge and desire to keep up with the laws concerning seizures is a blessing. I am so happy for how he fought for me.
