I used to go here as a child and it was excellent. I went back for the first time in a long time yesterday. Maybe my standards have changed, but this food was disgusting. I eat Chinese from my local Chinese place a couple times a month. Everything here that I ate didn't taste good and the spring rolls and fried rice tasted like it was cooked from a frozen foods section. So first I want to start off on a good note. The place was quaint, quiet yet busy. The dining room was about 40% capacity during lunchtime. The food was fresh and hot. There was very little variety. You had your typical lo mein noodles and Chinese fried rice along with white rice. But here's the part that got me. They didn't have any seafood other than cold shrimp on the salad bar. No fish, no beef. And how many ways can you make chicken? They had at least eight different varieties of chicken. And they only had all vegetable sushi topped with avocado, which can you really even call sushi? You pay first and then get seated. They have you sanitize, wear gloves and a mask before they let you to the Buffet. I went to the restroom and to my amazement there was no commode. Only a sink and a urinal. I don't know about y'all but I got business to do after a Chinese buffet. I will say, the place was very clean. They are constantly wiping down the buffet, tables and chairs. This place use to be a lot better. We went today for lunch and got there soon after opening. There was five of us, 2 adults and 3 children, and we spent over $56 to just get in. The food looked like it had been sitting there for a while already. Every thing was either extremely greasy, extremely dry and hard, or extremely gross. There was barely anything that was edible. Disgusting. This was the number one worst place I have ever had the displeasure of stepping foot into. Every thought I had regarding buffets came to fruition practically the moment we walked in. We paid 20 bucks, we were shown to our table, we grabbed a plate, walked around the three gross feeding troughs, I picked a few things that looked the least gross and took our seat. This used to be my favourite walk in buffet I would visit weekly with my girlfriend, (if not once, then twice weekly). But now my mind has changed, on March 31st I waltzed in at 9:30 p.m. My girlfriend is talking to me about how it was 5 dollars at this hour because it is so late and they are getting rid of the last of the food for the day. So unless you ask for a fresh food to be brought out, (which they will say okay but must think that you will get tired after waiting a half hour to eat something that you'll leave) Oh and let me say that the 2 of us got charged in total of $25.92....Never have I been charged over 19$ out of the 20+ times, also leave a 3 dollar cash tip almost every time before I left.....(Not even at lunch or dinner hour were this expensive from my past experiences) So we sit, the 3 main items that I eat most (barbecue chicken, le mein , and dumpling all litterally 1 dried item, the noodles sitting there litterally half hard and crunchy. my girlfriend's fries were cold and her sugar bread ball was hard and broke apart in crumble when she tried to cut it with a butter knife. we asked if they could make some more and they said "yes right away, will be right out. Now we waited 43 minutes and asked again and this mid 20's girl said, "sorry we closing in 20, we can't make no more" which had been rediculous! I got upcharged for nothing and I've eatin half of a barbecued chickin on a stick ((my girlfriend ate nothing)), then the same chick who told us "right away, sorry no more, and upcharged us with a $25.92, asked for me to come again soon." Well, Spence and I made our annual trek to Ling Ling today, hoping the food had improved. Nope.... Although they have a large buffet with many items, they are almost all chicken dishes. Today they had one beef dish, one fish dish and one dish made with Italian sausage (really???). All the rest were chicken. No pork. The pot stickers were OK. The rest was drek. The tea was just hot water. Not even any jello!!!! I guess we will just have to wait til next year and try it again. Maybe by then a new Chinese buffet will open up with bette food. read more

We were there yesterday and were very disappointed. First off, it was dirty. The carpet was covered in crumbs and wrappers. I noticed a chair with a lot of crumbs on it, too. Mine was wet. The rice cooker hadn't been cleaned in quite some time, from the looks of it. The staff was surly and barely acknowledged our presence. The food was bland and not very flavourful.
