I figured it wouldn't hurt to visit Summit Dental for their evaluation of what was happening. A co-worker recommended this group and he gave me the impression from his experience that they were honest. I've only been there once, but I can say, so far so good. Cara my dental assistant was very personable and professional, Dr. Marcincin gave me the most thorough dental check up I have ever had in my life. She found the cause of my issue and referred me to Dr. Tony Kardelis in Frisco for a possible root canal, which I already suspected was the issue. She also did some minor grinding down of a filling, which by the way she kept checking in, like my beloved dentist back home, I presume she's a no pain and careful dentist. On my way out, front desk was awesome. I think it was Lyndsey who explained in detail everything my insurance covered, Delta Dental (which was the entire bill) and what I would likely be looking at at the Frisco office and how best to manage what's left of my benefits for this year.
