During the construction of our Gulf-front home in 2020-2021, Marquis installed all kitchen cabinets and vanities. Despite the significant cost, numerous issues arose soon after: misaligned doors and handles, missing electrical work, and even a missing top cabinet piece discovered a year later. Cabinet panels around two Miele refrigerators broke within 18 months. Marquis blamed the appliances, but Miele technicians confirmed both were working properly with no leaks. Marquis refused warranty coverage, insisted the damage was not their responsibility, and even suggested our home's occasional rental use was to blame. In reality, the property was a second home, lightly used only a few weeks per year. I just found this very poor work on the panel under the dishwasher a few weeks ago, which showed their "quality of the work." The quality of materials and workmanship proved poor, and warranty service was marked by excuses rather than accountability. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Marquis Cabinetry. I wish I can post some photos to verify their "quality work."

The adjustable bed I purchased with the wonderful mattress at a good price has a terrible…read moreidiocrncry. The first time you use it, the mattress slips to the bottom of the bed frame. You end up with a large hole across the top where your pillows slide down and you cannot make your bed because the mattress is up against the footboard. There are two very small plastic end caps that are suppose to hold the mattress in place. I called the owner 4 times, a very nice guy who says he will call back and never ever has. I offered to change out my bed frame for another and (guess what?) he said he'd call back and doesn't. I have such a hard time making my bed every day. I thought the sale and install was great, but the true metal of a company is how they act when there's a problem.

The following morning I put in a complaint to the 24 hour help. Their initial reply was "There is some bug spray there" mine was " Yes, however, I do not want to be an exterminator during my vacation". After about 15 minutes I received a call from a rep that seemed very apologetic and agreed to move us to an upper floor into a different unit. He gave us the room number and said that we will receive a call instructing us when we can relocate our things to the upper floor. That didn't happen, instead I received a text saying our current room was no longer available for the remainder of our stay due to maintenance no mention of the unit the other person had promised. It was followed by an email stating we could select from a provided list a different unit. However, those units were in a completely different LOCATION, not in the area we booked for an event we were attending that evening. I told the lady we don't want to move to a completely different area ( as we were hours from the start of the event). After I hung up, the first gentleman called back stating he saw I declined the move and I said because they didn't offer the room you mentioned and they wanted to move us to a totally different location. He was confused to why they didn't pay attention to what he noted. He said he would send some to spray ASAP and apply a monetary compensation on Monday, as of yet we have not seen any compensation. They did come to spray, although it was a partial spray and they didn't listen to us when we told them where we saw them coming from. The next evening the roaches returned. During the battle of the roaches we discovered how dirty this place was. Crumbs of food behind stuff, and previous old roach motels under cabinets and tables. I felt HORRIBLE that my friends were exposed to a $1200 Roach motel.

I love the white sands and the temperature was great at night. The villa had the most comfortable bed that I have ever slept in on a vacation. Kitchen is extremely small, dishwasher was full of dishes, we were wondering why there were only 3 plates and a few coffee mugs. We bought paper plates and utensils since we had assumed the dishes would be in the cabinets. We were wrong. The water pressure wasn't perfect but then again it never is at the beach. Location is close to shopping and all the restaurants. You can walk to several different places. It is hard to navigate the villas at night. You turn in three blocks from where you are actually staying which is very weird. Several different places all in one general area. Overall an okay experience but not likely to return to this area. It is very crowded this time of the year.

Trey installed some high quality plantation shutters in my home about 10 years ago. I went back to Trey to have them fixed, fully expecting to pay him. But he told me the blinds have a lifetime warranty and he came out twice to fix them free of charge. He also showed us how to fix some other shutters in our home that he hadn't installed (they were here prior to us purchasing our home). I VERY MUCH APPRECIATE Trey!!
