I finally called in GCR Building Solutions, 520-975-7789 (the owner is James D. Gaul) he and his crew came out and sanded the parapets, placed a lining material, stuccoed and than painted the stucco. He also used a thick material on all the cracking in the flat part of the roof and assured me I should be good for a few more years. His prices were extremely reasonable and he warrants his work. Mr. Gaul is a licensed and bonded general contractor, however, he does all types of jobs and I will be calling him in the future for any other issues I'm experiencing or improvements I wish to make! Their reputation is such that they do not lack for customers. Details: When I purchased my home, the home inspection indicated the roof needed replacement, which we included in our negotiations. Although we were not in a crisis, the roof nonetheless needed extensive repairs, the extent of which I did not fully understand, so we hired a qualified home inspector to find a roofing contractor for us, and to act as our agent in contracting and monitoring the work. He found Spencer Roofing, and we could not have been happier with the results, which were nothing short of amazing. Spencer removed the multiple layers of roofing -- including the original gravel layer -- evaluated and repaired the underlying plywood roof, eliminated dips and depressions that impeded draining, replaced all of our skylights, and finally laid down a new roof. A separate contractor removed and replaced all the HVAC infrastructure, but Spencer would have done that too. After the repair and installation, I had a few minor issues. Customer service and response was courteous and timely. I recently had an issue a good 42 months after my installation (warranty is 36 months), and Spencer was out to see me two days later and repaired the issue. I am certain there are many fine roofing companies in Tucson. Spencer Roofing LLC is certainly one of the best.

There's no issue with his masonry work. He's dependable, and showed up when he said he would. He's a competent and hard working mason. However, in the bid was also work for grading the yard. He originally told me that he didn't do grading. Then he said he would do it, and get help/contract it out. I repeatedly asked him to call the landscaping company, as discussed. He told me he would call them, but he did not. He then told me he was a "landscaper" and did grading, drainage, irrigation, everything related to hardscaping. It didn't go well, he put dirt on top of a sandy yard, without consulting me, making my yard soupy. He said I approved this. When I asked him if he would take the dirt out, he stated he would only take it out if I put gravel in, and he would charge me $600.00. I had no intention of doing yard cover at that time. I did agree, because my yard was now a soupy mess. I told him I would go look at gravel and get back to him. The next morning he put down some gray looking gravel, that I did not approve, and do not want. This has been a frustrating experience. He repeatedly made decisions without consulting me, said I told him to do things that I did not, and added them to my contract which I did not sign for. I now need to hire a grading company to take out the gravel, the dirt, grade my yard, and fix the drainage. He didn't bring in a skid steer, and did not enlist the help of a landscaping company. This was supposedly the majority of the grading cost. He doesn't have a license for grading/landscaping. I'v tried to reach out to him so we can work this out in a way that is acceptable and fair to both of us, but he has not responded.

The workers piled up the old roof material over the garage area to shovel it off. The weight of that crushed the supports in the garage and garage door below. To their credit, they sent specialists to replace and repair all damage right away. It's unclear now if that includes A primer and paint on the new planks. The interior is blue. So far, thank you.

Don.t let the name of company fool you! These guys do it all.. Call them if you need septic/leech field stuff..lol they are booked out a couple of months..the good one always are. ..Im not getting any incentive to write this.
