First time here and enjoyed our dinner. We started with Tempura combo rolls which included shrimp tempura roll, chicken tempura roll and cooked salmon roll served with Miso soup. It was very filling. Only downside was the waitress. It was a Saturday night and it was pretty empty in the front and she just looked and it felt like she was miserable. She was not friendly at all. We ignored her and focused on our meal. Will go back to try a different dish.

Any 5 Special Roll Party Tray

Ordered the party platter and it was a decent price for 5 special rolls! Will come back to try their lunch special!

Shrimp and avocado rolls. Tofu teriyaki, beef fried rice, soup and salad. Also vegetarian gyoza.

Ordered for delivery for the first time. The food came at the normal delivery time (30-40 min). The food was hot and smelled delicious. The bag was packed well nothing leaked. I ordered tofu teriyaki. It has 12 pieces with rice, soup and salad. I also ordered vegetarian gyoza, they had a delicious taste to them but the sauce on the side wasn't my favorite ( my boyfriend liked it though). For my last item I picked avocado roll. It is simple yet my favorite . My only problem is I'm a vegetarian and they put it next to his shrimp roll. My boyfriend ordered the shrimp roll which was fresh and delicious. He also got beef fried rice which was good. The only reason why 3 stars is because they mix vegetarian with fish. Also I never been inside so I'm not sure what it looks like and how they serve. Overall the food had great taste and worth ordering from them again. Next time I will go in and make an update.

Lunch Special - 3 small rolls (Tuna, Salmon, and Spicy salmon roll)

I've only ordered online from this shop but every time I receive my order, it's perfect! It arrives before the suggested time and everything is fresh. I absolutely love their lunch menu. My favorite from their menu are there Spicy Salmon and Tuna roll. If you want to order something fancy, try the Winter Roll (its delicious!) I recommend ordering from their lunch special because it's a great deal! You get a free miso soup and a salad!

Volcano roll, shrimp & avocado roll, spicy white tuna roll and the Boston roll. I highly recommend them all.

I ordered some late night yum yum this Friday. Around 9 pm, I was craving sushi so I ordered from the only place I would buy from in the Bronx (Sugi Sushi, formerly Oishi). Usually, I just get shrimp & avocado rolls but I wanted to venture out. So I bought one shrimp & avocado roll, the volcano roll (rather large, you might want to cut it in half if you're small like me), the spicy white tuna roll and the Boston roll! It was my first time trying the volcano roll and it was delicious despite how large in size the pieces are, the Boston roll was amazingly refreshing since they use lettuce. I shared with my best friend, and we were full and satisfied! I recommend them all, oh so yummy and perfect for when you're not in the mood for raw fish.

Very good food. Tried the sushi and the habachi chicken with fried rice. I would highly recommend the fried rice with chicken it was great. This is a restaurant in the neighborhood so I'll definitely be back. Really clean, and the people were nice and friendly even though we got here a bit late.

This place has become my go to for Sushi, take out, delivery or even the occasional dine in. Crab Rangoons are still the highlight, but their sushi has also been consistently fresh and delicious. My only complaint is the hibachi, not that great and they don't provide any dipping sauce for it(my favorite part) or at least not when you have it delivered. Also, the Tuna Lobster was like a sushi roll where the tuna took the place of rice and the filling was basically lobster tossed in mayo....too much mayo though. Could really be a delicious app if they reduced the mayo and made that part a little more tasty.

OK, but not great. What can I say. I guess I have gotten used to Omikase in Manhattan which is a far cry from this sushi.

After visiting regularly, I've come to know the wonderful people who run it--with professionalism, warmth, and consistency. A quick disclaimer: I'm recommending Kiraku based on a personal preference for sushi that honors traditional preparation--clean, balanced, and free from excessive sauces or unnecessary embellishments. I've been to highly rated sushi spots where every piece is smothered in sugary, multi-ingredient sauces, masking the flavor of the fish and turning the experience into something overly rich and far from authentic. Kiraku stands apart. Their sushi is beautifully restrained--great-quality fish, well-prepared rice, and flavors that are distinct and harmonious. For those who enjoy bolder options, there are a few heavier sauce-based rolls on the menu. But for me, the real strength of Kiraku lies in its refined, minimalist approach. If you appreciate true sushi craftsmanship, this place is a hidden neighborhood gem with extremely good pricing for the quality you're getting.

The drinks were good, the food was good, and the vibe was exactly what I've come to expect from them. But let me tell you about what happened after. When I got home, I didn't realize that I had left my sunglasses on the table. The next morning, when I couldn't find them, I figured that must be where I left them. I reached out to the restaurant, but honestly, in my heart I thought there was no way I'd ever see them again. Well... I was completely wrong. I received a response, and America (I hope I spelled her name correctly!) found them and held them for me until I could pick them up. Yes, the sunglasses were brand name, but to me it's the honesty and loyalty that really speaks volumes. That kind of integrity says a lot about a place and the people who work there. I'm incredibly thankful--and it's just another reason I'll keep coming back.

The staff were so sweet and let us keep the extra rolls for free so I couldn't complain even if I wanted to (and I did b/c there was an error on the bill but I didn't wanna seem ungrateful lol) A total of 7 rolls and good vibes were worth it. Started off with a Tsingtao (Chinese Beer) smooth and refreshing, a solid choice with hibachi. There was a bit of a wait for the chef to come out, but once he did, it was totally worth it. He struck the perfect balance--entertaining without overdoing it. We ordered the steak, scallops, lobster, and shrimp, and everything came out cooked perfectly. Portions were generous enough that we even had leftovers to take home for the next day, which is always a plus. I really liked the light-up hibachi tables, a nice modern touch. The restaurant wasn't crowded, which made the experience even more enjoyable, and the service throughout was good. Overall, the place looks great, the food was on point, and the vibe was just right. Between my first review and now, Ikko has maintained their relevance. They've kept up by offering decent Asian inspired apps and entrees. At the tail end of Covid they pivoted to include Seafood Boils as an option. Not a fan of boils so unsure how that option is going. Another option, Hibachi, which we also are not big fans of, unless forced upon us by friends or family. Is prepared on these red glowing tables and appears to appeal to the masses, so that's a good thing. During our visits, generally on the early side of dinner hours, service has always been attentive and our meals, most often than not are prepared as expected. There has been the occasional slight hiccup while dining in or when ordering for delivery, but nothing major. The aesthetics of this place continues to appeal with their colorful facade. And their interior is just as inviting with ambient lighting of red hues throughout the restaurant, enhancing the Asian inspired statues and textured wall designs. It's nice that Ikko has kept up with this large piece of real estate, providing decent meals and continuing to keeping themselves relevant within the neighborhood.
