I am so grateful I chose Sobi Qazi to take on my wedding this past year! My husband and I had a traditional Indian wedding that spanned over three days and multiple events in Austin, TX. At the time, he was living in Indiana and myself in Dallas, with my family being in Houston. We were constantly all over the map and needed a planner that would work around the schedule of our chaotic lives, deal with our demands and emotions, and still execute our intricate vision. Needless to say, Ms. Qazi delivered. She was exceptionally professional and helped us every step of the way. She introduced us to some of the most unique vendors, and our wedding turned out to be a complete success! Our guests are still talking about how seamless it was and how gorgeous our decor was. Ms. Qazi herself was calm and collected at every event and made sure our timeline was followed to the last minute. She graciously took my ideas into account, but also gave great feedback if some of my thoughts were impractical live. She also always offered great alternative solutions! Examples of her heard work included negotiating back and forth with an array of vendors to make sure I got the exact look for the most reasonable price, attending food tastings and taking diligent notes, regularly following up with catering to perfect our orders, and being hands on at all our events to make sure every detail was cared for. She catered to my more personal requests in that she made sure my husband and I ate at each event, stayed hydrated, all while balancing the needs of our several vendors. She also attended our meeting with our priest to ensure he clearly understood our instructions. As a result of her work, our vision was executed flawlessly and each and every one our goals were met. She event went above and beyond by managing a few of our guests demands so that my husband and I could enjoy the ceremony. Finally, another important thing I feel necessary to convey, is that Ms. Qazi is just so nice as a person. While meeting other planners I often felt this air of righteousness being pushed my way, but Ms. Qazi took the time to speak with me and was always kind and listened to what I had to say.
