She blew us away at my…read morebrother's wedding in 2010 and exceeded any and all expectations this past weekend at my wedding. Nalini has great decor ideas that she throughly explains and draws out. We were able to give her a 'Mughal" theme , and everyone in the hall could recognize what she was trying to achieve. You can tell she puts her heart in to the event. We gave her the freedom to be creative and she left us speechless at the Mehndi and Valimah. Since both events were 2 days apart at Sugar Land Marriott, she was able to give such a unique look to both events that guests were left puzzled how they were in the same hall. She was even able to do a small stage setup in a day's notice at our home that was just as stunning as the wedding hall. The review below discussing her pricing should know the saying "you get what you pay for". If you want a high-end event that will leave the town talking, go with Decor One. You won't be disappointed.

Nalini went above and beyond to make our wedding vision come through - even sourcing new pieces of furniture and decor. Our wedding was featured in Weddings in Houston.     I love planning events on the side, including friend's weddings and didn't think I needed or wanted…read morea wedding planner .....until I met Audrey. Audrey is full of energy and enthusiasm. She's always on time and very quick to respond to any questions via email, phone or text. She's organized, knowledgeable about the industry, and extremely patient. Her vendors are an extension of her company and her values it seems. They care about her brides as much as she does. I feel she is very adaptable to any personality type. I'm extremely type A and she just knew when to step back and let me take over, and when to step forward. I highly recommend her for your wedding! She is also on the "best of the knot 2010" list!

We did not have to go over the same things every time we meet. Instead, we could pick up right where we left off the last time. She's extremely organized. She definitely goes above and beyond. No detail will be left unattended to! She thinks of everything and is prepared for anything! She's fantastic at negotiating and talking to vendors. From our hotel staff, to our band, to those setting up the decor, she kept everyone on schedule and quality checked it all. She takes the time to truly understand what you want on your big day. When the big weekend came, she knew what I was thinking, before I could even say it! I literally don't have one complaint about Audrey. I would highly recommend her to anyone and now consider her a friend! She's a wonderful, fun person inside and out!

    Choosing Sobi for our wedding/reception day of coordination was one of the best decisions we made…read more She was very professional and accommodating down to the last minute. There are so many details that she took care of for our wedding and reception, and the events would not have gone as smoothly had she not been there. Most importantly, she delivered on everything she said she was going to do. Let me repeat that...she did EVERYTHING she said she was going to do. I cannot emphasize enough how important that is for a successful event, not to mention that it really reduced our stress level the week of the event! We met with Sobi prior to the event date to go over everything that would need to be done during the events, and she was informative about what to consider and worked with us to figure out how to make everything run on time and the way we wanted. She was very sweet and easy to work with, not to mention organized and listened to what we wanted. She made sure to ask questions so she could understand the type of wedding/reception we wanted (and not necessarily what would be 'easiest' for her to handle). She also made sure she got all the information she would need for that day (including setup diagrams, vendor contact info, schedules, etc). She even followed up with any questions she had after reviewing everything we had given her. She confirmed all of our vendors for the day, and took care coordinating all of the details (and believe me, there were many of those) and setup of the venues. She also made sure we kept to our timeline during the reception, which was amazing (and awesome) considering we had about 185 people at the event to handle. During the event, Sobi was calm and very organized. Some of our guests even commented that she was very sweet and was doing a great job handling everything. Sobi was invaluable to us with all the logistics she took care of...and she was the biggest reason we were able to relax on our wedding day! She handled everything that day and we didn't have to worry about ANYTHING! We highly recommend Sobi for any event coordination!
