I had lip fillers done & the lady I had a consultation with was very nice, knowledgeable & I wished she was the one doing the procedure. The way she made the Doctor who will be doing the procedure sound, made me hopeful I was going to be in good hands.... The day of the appointment I found the Doctor not very friendly. She didn't even know anything about me or anything that was discussed during the consultation. So I had to repeat myself over again. The consultation was $75. For what exactly? There is no point since the information is not even passed on! The woman who was the Doctors assistant seemed a bit out of it, unknowledgeable &, definitely not all there mentally. Just because this isn't an anesthetic surgery does not mean you can slack off & not take the patient seriously. When I was escorted to the desk after completion I was not given much information regarding care of my now swollen lips... just didn't feel all that comfortable or all that welcomed to this "spa". Just like the medical industry... I'm just a # i don't think Ill be recommending this spa for serious cosmetic surgeries. Because when you feel like "My skin needs this" and then you have a long wait or no openings makes you put off treating your skin right. (or maybe its just me). Okay back to the scheduling of this appointment with Aesthetic Theory Detroit (ATD). I click on the tab to request appointment on yelp and I love that right away i was taken to a quick few questions what my concerns were along with a few other questions. Because when deciding on a facial it can be a bit overwhelming if you don't know what would work. I was happy that it didn't take long before i got a reply back with suggestion what facial would work based on my concerns. I got schedule for a few days later and I was on my way to having a Dermal infusion. Day of my appointment everything was smooth from the minute I walked in, I answered a few questions and then I was taken to a room where my facial started right away. It didn't take long maybe 45min total if you count the time it took me to fill out the information on the ipad, now let me tell you BEAUTY IS PAIN and this might not be for everyone but the end results is so worth. And of course consistency with your skin care regimen is a must, I saw the difference in my skin with just 1 appointment. It also helps that they take before and after pictures so you can see the progress but honestly I saw it after 1 visit. I did schedule for another one in about a month because its a PRICEY but 1's a month you can make it work because your skin will thank you. I loved how i didnt feel pressure to buy anything or like I was being given a sales pitch during my facial. 2 days after the facial I did get a few little breakout but I was told that would happen because of the treatment from the Dermal inusion. But Heather did a fabulous job and i'm looking forward to getting my skin right and the next appointment I have. My mom came today to do her nails and they did such a bad job my mom doesn't speak English so when she tried telling them that they don't look the same they told her it's your finger that's like that!!!!!!!!! I'm sorry whattttttt????? I called her and cussed her out and she told me to come will fix it for her and I told her you will do a pedicure for her for the bad job and the inconvenience you caused! So my mom goes again and instead of doing a whole new set she tried filing them! Made them worse and I told her to do her pedicure she refused when I got off the phone with my mom! I called her again and said you better do it! She wouldn't do it so then she finally said okay I will do the pedicure she put her in the chair and when I got off the phone again she told my mom I'm not painting your toes I'm just cleaning them! Bishnu was very nice and a great listener. i did threading for the first time and i loved it so…read moremuch that I won't go back to waxing. she kept my eyebrow shape the way I like it and helped enhance and clean up. we also tinted my eyebrows. it turned out a bit darker than I liked and she was accommodating to making it lighter. it was also my first time going there so I figured it'd take a couple of times to find the right shade as I have very light hair. I did go home and I added some conditioner to it to lighter it and it brought it back to the perfect shade! very pleased with my experience
