Curious, I booked a free consultation, just to learn more. Cara talked me through the laser process, as well as packages that they offer. She immediately put me at ease, and I ended up getting my first treatment that same day. I was so happy with the process that I returned a couple of weeks later for laser on another area, this time with Donna. She likewise wowed me with her knowledge, expertise, and welcoming demeanor. She didn't even know anything about me or anything that was discussed during the consultation. So I had to repeat myself over again. The consultation was $75. For what exactly? Just because this isn't an anesthetic surgery does not mean you can slack off & not take the patient seriously. When I was escorted to the desk after completion I was not given much information regarding care of my now swollen lips... just didn't feel all that comfortable or all that welcomed to this "spa". Because when you feel like "My skin needs this" and then you have a long wait or no openings makes you put off treating your skin right. (or maybe its just me). Okay back to the scheduling of this appointment with Aesthetic Theory Detroit (ATD). I click on the tab to request appointment on yelp and I love that right away i was taken to a quick few questions what my concerns were along with a few other questions. Because when deciding on a facial it can be a bit overwhelming if you don't know what would work. I was happy that it didn't take long before i got a reply back with suggestion what facial would work based on my concerns. I got schedule for a few days later and I was on my way to having a Dermal infusion. Day of my appointment everything was smooth from the minute I walked in, I answered a few questions and then I was taken to a room where my facial started right away. It didn't take long maybe 45min total if you count the time it took me to fill out the information on the ipad, now let me tell you BEAUTY IS PAIN and this might not be for everyone but the end results is so worth. And of course consistency with your skin care regimen is a must, I saw the difference in my skin with just 1 appointment. It also helps that they take before and after pictures so you can see the progress but honestly I saw it after 1 visit. I did schedule for another one in about a month because its a PRICEY but 1's a month you can make it work because your skin will thank you. I loved how i didnt feel pressure to buy anything or like I was being given a sales pitch during my facial. 2 days after the facial I did get a few little breakout but I was told that would happen because of the treatment from the Dermal inusion. But Heather did a fabulous job and i'm looking forward to getting my skin right and the next appointment I have. I asked if I could just pay as I go, like every other normal laser clinic, and they flat-out said no. They bragged about me being "approved for a good loan" and acted like $400 a month for laser is somehow normal. On top of that, they made an awkward comment about how high my credit score is, which was unprofessional and honestly just weird. And let's talk about the "free treatment" I chose for my underarms -- complete trash. I've had to shave three times since, including the same day I got home, because they missed so many hairs. Zero attention to detail. The free session with consultation was worth exactly that. Everyone I know pays under $200 for full-body laser and actually gets results. Milan Laser is overpriced, sloppy, and more focused on selling loans than doing their job. Honestly, you'd get better results buying a $10 razor at CVS.
