But I am SO GLAD I was recently afforded the opportunity to finally check it out when I was granted tickets to a screening/Q&A of Omaha. They only have 1 screen but I loved how it's a great balance between vintage + modern. Usually with the former, you expect uncomfortable seats but I found these to be quite comfortable, with plenty of legroom and good stacking of rows so that your view isn't compromised. The theater itself is spacious AND gorgeous in its own right. May sound silly but I also judge movie experiences considering concession - here, although there are only a couple of operators, they run the lines efficiently and their popcorn is fresh and tasty (even when the butter topping is administered on their end). I could see required street parking being a challenge but I haven't had an issue in the surrounding areas that time, or since. Yes, after this screening I signed up for the Landmark Theatres loyalty program because I knew I'd definitely be back. And already have, for another Q&A (the film Forge). I love that they screen indie films and extend opportunities like this for fairly reasonable prices.

My son has been wanting to see Devil Wears Prada 2 and the first one is one of his favorite movies of all time. Personally, I don't like that movie but I went along with him. Tickets are $25 each and they have a $4 parking garage, but we were lucky enough to get a free after-hour meter on the street. It's a nice place and it seems like comfort is their top priority. The recliner chairs are extremely comfy and come with a blanket in case you get cold. You know how movie theaters are always chilly. Once you get settled, you can press a button that sends an employee over to take your order. It's completely optional. We got one small popcorn (light butter, $6) which was big enough for both of us. I like this idea of having the option of ordering and dining at your seat while watching a movie, but the reality is a bit different. It's kind of annoying to see the employees coming and going when someone needs a refill or places a new order during the movie. You can hear them talking and they can even block your view. It's frustrating when you are trying to focus. With that being said, I think it has more pros than cons. There are bars and bathrooms located across the several floors and the one we went to was exceptionally clean. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to come back to this theatre. I prefer something more standard like AMC or Pacific Theatres (RIP!)...

Last week, we attended a showing of Toy Story 5 at the theater. We learned that not only is the new ownership not offering food service during the transition but intends to abandon that amenity altogether. This is among the most foolish decisions that could be made from a business perspective and will undoubtedly result in a total loss on the owners' investment. The building has a gigantic kitchen going to waste. The screens are small, and the ticket prices are high. The sole reason people have chosen this theater over the numerous options (e.g. Century City AMC) is its special quality of in-theater dining and expanded, up-scale fare. It is absurd that the owners are trying to spin this as an improvement, claiming this unique feature has been "retired in favor of elevated food & beverage offerings -- designed to enhance your cinematic experience by reducing service-related noise, light and other distractions." No amount of polishing to the menu at the tavern will offset the loss of clientele brought on by the abandonment of the in-theater dining option. The owners need only look to the onslaught of terrible reviews streaming in across Yelp and Google or the consensus of complaints in the Reddit community to understand the extent to which this misguided approach will devalue their investment. They will certainly be losing our business until this irrational new approach is reversed.

Plenty of parking and also valet parking if you're so inclined. Great stores and restaurants to patron prior to your movie time. Staff generally have been pretty good. Occasionally have been a little short/rude about outside drinks from the surrounding coffee shops/restaurants. Love the parking validation (not many places validate at Westfield Century City). Concession stands are pretty quick. Great popcorn which is key for movie going experience. Theaters are very nice. Stadium seating that are assigned seats. Great audio and acoustics. Excellent selection of top quality films. Can't wait to go back!!

I also think it's really cool - in theory - that they show older movies in 70mm. Went with a friend to watch T2 and had a great time. The big downside is that the film quality was quite poor. I'm sure restorers and projectionists were doing the absolute best with what they had, and the 70mm print was simply very degraded. That said, there were frequent jumps where 2-5 seconds of movie would be cut out, consistent sound quality issues, and noticeable tearing and lines all over the picture. If you're seeing something in 70mm here, you're seeing it to appreciate the history and preservation quality of film, not because you expect the print to be high quality. Didn't bother me too much, but want to warn people who might come to a film screening expecting movie-theatre-quality visuals and sound. They're heroically doing the best with what they have, but at least for this print, what they had was very uneven. Still a great time, and excited to return to catch more of their programming!

I saw Ben Affleck (swoon) interview Timothée Chalamet, following a screening of Marty Supreme. I also saw a Monsters: The Ed Gein Story screening with Charlie Hunnam and Ian Brennan - just to name a couple cool things I've experienced here. Staff is always very well organized and friendly! Snacks are always abound and popcorn is tasty here. I can comfortably sit in the seats for a few hours for the movie and Q&As after. Temperature in the theater is signature movie theater cold so bring a sweater but it's not unbearably so. Parking can be hit or miss but sometimes you'll luck out with a spot in meter parking on the street! Arriving early always helps. Overall, I love coming to movies at Aero Theatre for their organization and seamlessly good experiences.

I didn't buy anything at the concession stand but it looked to have all the options one would expect. I did use the bathroom. Two options. A couple down stairs and a bigger bathroom upstairs. Very clean. Very nice. The theater was fantastic. The picture/sound was of the best. The chairs are decent. They lean way back as you sit back and felt very comfortable. We sat in the last row of the first section. Now this movie is instantly one of my all time favorites. I don't cry that often, but this one ripped my heart out. And as Nicole Kidman says in those other less nice theaters...heartbreak felt good in a place like this.

Stellar theater for the price…read more Clean, small theaters, a well-stocked snack bar with subpar popcorn but a plethora of drinks, candy, and hot foods, and quick previews (gosh, this was an unexpected, but needed breath of fresh air). The staff members were fine, but certainly not the friendliest I've experienced. I must also comment that the service issues in the theater were less than ideal, so some sort of signage or easy wifi hookup would have been great (or at least friendlier stall to point this out and provide more patience while pulling up tickets...). Would we return? 100%. Our favorite movie theater experience in LA? Not quite, but I certainly prefer this over a mega theater corporation for at least double the price.

Ample selection of better than average snacks and a 5 minute walk to med & high end eateries my wife and I often enjoy pre or post movie.
