You can choose a package or go à la carte. We opted for the lip balms. After selecting your shade group, you get to choose the font, flavor, and case color, and then they work their magic. One of the best parts is getting to name your custom color, which added an extra layer of fun and made the experience feel special. The experience for the three of us took about an hour and felt relaxed without being rushed. We each added a different $20 add-on (lip liner, lip scrub, and a lip mask), which was a nice way to personalize things even more. The location is convenient, upstairs near Neiman Marcus. This was such a nice experience even with your pre teen kids. I brought my 3mo old baby and my 11 y/o who wanted to do this. (My 3mo old slept the whole time we were there, so no issue with that. We did not bother anyone) So i made an appointment online and we did the Tinted Lip Balm i told her maybe next time we can do the lip stick or lip gloss for now we did the Tinted lip balm. And she was very happy. Our Lip Lab Host of Isela she was great she explained everything and was very patient with my daughter she has to formulated 2-3 different shade for her. We did not felt rushed so that was a plus, i mean we are picking colors so i guess they are used to having to mix multiple different colors till we find the ride shade. The booking was a little annoying im not sure if the website had the glitch i literally made so many appointments, so i guess the key was make an account first then book. And don't forget to confirm the reservation or else the reservation wont be completed. The place was very cute and colorful, everyone was very nice. You can also take as many picture and videos. Ps. Little did I know that the bulk of your time here is based on your own decisions and preferences. We got there early just because we wanted to make sure we were in the right place. When I tell you.. the three young ladies greeted us and asked about our appointment and then checked us in early, this was great customer service. They let us know our lip professional was not in yet but, we were all set. We said we would come back seeing how we were 45min early. This was such a fun activity and service! My friends and I booked a private session here (since there were so many of us) and we were all able to create the colors of our dreams! They have more options than just lip stick, like lip gloss, and liquid lip colors. They offer lip pencils, scrubs, balms, etc too. For lipsticks, you could get a matte, satin, or etc for finishes. First you get to choose your color combo, and if you don't know what you are looking for, the staff knows exactly how to help! I visited here with a group of 20 women and we had a great time. The concept and product is fun and good quality. The 2 star is for the service. On Jan 7th, I took my mom for an appointment, we arrived 20 min late and the manager who was supposed to service us never came out to speak to us and sent one of the other employees to tell us we're late, 10 min passed their grace period. I get it. Totally. We were late. As a biz owner what I didn't get was, they had 3 employees there. Only 1 was with a customer. I asked if they could just service my mom and only 1 lipstick, instead of both of us, since we were late. It took more time (15 min) for the employee to keep walking to the back to ask the manager and walking back to the front to tell us- than the time I spent actually doing 1 lipstick last time I was there, with 20 women and we had 4 employees helping us. Apparently we were booked with, the manager. There were 3 employees there, 1 customer and they were turning away biz. I've done the service before. It took me 10-15 min to complete the price and pick a lipstick. They said no because they had someone booked an hr after us and we were 20 min late. So we had 40 min left but they couldn't service even 1 customer for 1 lipstick. Wow. Hoped the regional manager sees this, because the manager that was there on Saturday sent a message to 2 customers and 2 of her employees, that's it's ok to turn away biz even when we're already not busy. read more
