This involved pouring over 1,500 sq. ft. of concrete, a large retaining wall, a patio deck, a new lawn, and a playground area. Here were some of the highlights of my experience: - Design Guidance: I relied heavily on Baltazar's experience and keen sense of design. His elegant hardscaping solution for the pool transition zones exceeded my expectations and tied the yard together perfectly. - The grading and drainage were very well done. Despite heavy rains, there was zero pooling; the rain gutters were routed directly into pipes beneath the concrete for a clean, streamlined look. - Smart Home Integration: All landscape lighting and irrigation were hooked up to smart-home enabled controllers for total automation and convenience. - The office staff was very responsive, addressing any concerns or follow-up questions usually within a single business day. Props to Gladys and Dahlia! Highly recommended!

In our home improvement projects, landscaping our front yard was one of the nine projects we…read moreundertook. Throughout these projects, we sought God's wisdom, guidance, and most importantly, provision. We received three bids for each project, contacting them via phone. Most of them were easy to work with and accommodating, but one company stood out. I contacted this company, just like I did with the others, explaining that we needed to finish our front yard because my husband couldn't do it now due to health reasons. Before they even arrived, they demanded measurements and photos of our front yard. I'm not the best at measuring, but I did my best, considering I'm a full-time caregiver. I explained my situation to them, but they were very business-minded and lacked empathy. I complied with their requests and was surprised when Miguel, the owner, made an appointment to come out to our property. I already knew they wouldn't be a company we'd be interested in hiring, but in life, we need to be fair. Manuel arrived and was courteous. I asked him how he could bid on a job before he could actually access it and see what was required. He replied that he'd been doing this for a long time. Upon his departure, I noticed him measuring our property. I couldn't help but wonder why he needed to measure when he had already given us the price for the job. All the contractors bid on both the front and back yards. However, when we decided to postpone the backyard project and focus solely on the front yard, I contacted Stone Landscaping. The lady informed me that this change would increase the front yard price by 10% since the backyard was no longer included in the original quote. I was genuinely surprised and disappointed, as I sensed that this company lacked integrity and professionalism. Determined to find a dependable and honest landscaping company, I reached out to D&I Landscaping. I explained our decision to focus on the front yard and inquired about the cost. To my delight, they simply adjusted the price by removing the backyard, without any extra charges for the revision. This was a refreshing change, as D&I Landscaping demonstrated transparency and honesty. Life teaches us valuable lessons. While I don't intend to criticize others, I felt compelled to share my honest review of D&I Landscaping. If you're looking for a trustworthy and reliable landscaping company that offers high-quality work and uses quality materials, look no further than Irwin at D&I Landscaping. His company is dedicated to providing excellent service, listening to your needs, and showing genuine care and compassion.

The entire team was highly professional, punctual, and clearly very skilled at what they do. They paid attention to detail and completed the work beautifully. What impressed us the most was their excellent customer service even after the installation was completed. A few days later, we faced some issues with the sprinkler system, and after just one call, they responded quickly. One of the team members visited shortly after and had his crew fix the issue immediately without any hassle. It's rare to find a company that not only does quality work but also stands behind it with such prompt support and professionalism. Highly recommended for anyone looking for landscaping, sprinkler installation, or pavement work!

UPDATE 5/16: Shortly…read moreafter posting my review on 5/10 I received a text response from the company. In addition to explaining that it's busy season and that they are running behind on generating quotes, Eriberto included a promise to send the quote by EOD 5/12. If it's going to take some time to provide a quote, why not tell me up front or as soon as it becomes apparent that business tasks are getting backed up? I've updated the review score from 2 to 3 because I did receive a quote on 5/12. I'm unable to rate any higher based on the overall interaction, primarily that the responses from the company only came after I posted Yelp reviews. THIS IS MY REVIEW FROM 5/10: The company is non-responsive. I do not recommend requesting a bid from them for any landscape improvement projects. This was my experience: I left a voice message asking for callback on 4/23. No return call. I left a voice message asking for callback on 4/24. No return call. I tried calling 3 times on 4/29 and none of the calls went through. I posted a 3 star Yelp review at the end of the day on 4/29. Less than 1 hour later someone named Eddie called me, apologized, and asked if I would send him my project information via email so he could respond with a bid. Eddie texted me a couple hours later with the email address I should send to. He also asked me to remove my 3 star Yelp review. On 4/30 I emailed him my project scope of work (summary and details) as well as job site photos. I also obliged and removed my Yelp review. I felt they deserved another chance. Today is 5/10. Nobody ever got back to me. I am done with them. My review is now 2 stars.

We are going with 3 stars for this review due to some disappointment with the finished product and…read moreoverall business dealings. We obtained 4 bids for our backyard project but we selected CLC based on work we personally saw that was completed within the last 2-5 years on homes that were on the same street we live on. CLC was not the lowest bid, but we went forward based on reviews. First the good stuff... Demolition of existing material and forming of the pending concrete work was done fairly quickly. Clint took time to work with us and presented options from Brickform and showed us some pictures of work he previously completed. After spending some time discussing options, we decided on the color scheme, pattern, etc, and the pour was finally scheduled. We were crossing our fingers as it's our first time dealing with stamped concrete. On to the concerns... It was forecasted to be a hot day (90's by noon), on the day of the pour. Thus the CLC crew started very early in the morning to do final preparation work which they did not complete, but soon enough the concrete truck and pump arrived. After the pour was completed, Clint and his crew proceeded on with the stamping, coloring and applying hand joints to the concrete. We were told not to step on the concrete for several days to allow it to cure so we could not see any results of the initial work. After over a week of allowing the concrete to cure, we finally were given the "okay" to be able to step on the concrete. We immediately identified few areas of concern. We found to be visible borders of the stencil used to stamp the concrete, an area that seemed to have been double stamped, and an area that was not stamped. We immediately called Clint and he scheduled to come by within a few days to analyze the situation. As soon as he arrived, he was very honest and recognized where we had pointed out the areas of concern. He had indicated that he would do his best to work on some of the areas and to hopefully make it right before he would seal the concrete. Hence we trusted the process. After he finally sealed the concrete we were told not to step on it and let the seal dry for another 24-48 hours. However we were conservative and did not step on it for 96 hours. After finally stepping out to see the finished work, we did find that Clint was able to fade out the borders of the stencil on most areas we pointed out. However other areas just presented dark spots and rough areas which I believe could not be repaired unless Clint broke out the sections and reworked it. I have provided pictures of the areas of concern for your viewing. Finally, they poured around one of our AC unit's hoses, rather than adjusting properly for it. As comparison, please look at pictures # 24 and 28 posted on Jan 12, 2017 on this yelp review, which is what we expected the "finished" work somewhat come close to. Lastly, the cleanup process and finishing touches were not done as you would expect. For example.... 1) Stones they needed to move to complete the form were not dumped but rather left in the side of my yard. 2) They seemed to have lost the cap to one of the cleanouts which they had to form around, but rather took one from the side of the house and left that one open. 3) They cut a PVC conduit that had electrical wiring which powered a structure they demo'd to eliminate any electrical hazard but did not clean up the pipe. 4) Demo of our yard resulted in rocks that CLC should have dumped along with debris from the demo. Instead, they left a few rocks and pushed it aside towards my fence. CLC will say "we are not an excavating company" but a contractor should clean up debris or mess as a result of their work. 5.) Finally, a portion of our fence they had to break down to allow for the hose from the concrete truck/pump to reach our back yard was not put back together well. I had to nail and secure the boards that they left loose. To be fair, I would say that 90% of the work appears to be done well. However, it's the 10% that is an eye sore and unfortunately very visible. Please feel free to look at pictures we posted or feel free to message me for more details.

BLK Stone Landscape is amazing! Octavio is nothing short of great. They gave us the best quote, and…read moretheir quality of work was amazing. In the planning phase Octavio took the time to fully understand what we want, and proposed very artistic snd innovative solutions to get us what we want (he proposed a very nice curving of a sitting area concrete to hide a fence angle and it worked great and looked amazing). He made sure everything is well documented before starting the work, and gave us enough time to evaluate the plan, and accommodated all our requests. We never felt rushed and he was very patient in explaining all the details and all whats required. During execution he was there continuously, evaluating the progress and open to any feedback we have. When something was not clear to us he took the time to explain it well. When we needed samples to evaluate a color or a material he provided it promptly. And his execution was flawless. He was there working with the crew and ensuring that things were up to plan. The execution wad very thorough and the crew wad very meticulously working through all details (all stones places with measurement and everything was set level and the stepping paths were all checked for level with respect to each other; the concrete curving was done using a string to draw a proper circle and the frame was made matching to ground ... etc). They really rook their time to execute properly and did not rush or overlook any detail. And they accommodated all our requests. It was work of art. Once the job was done they left us the remaining materials to use/store as needed and they did a great job cleaning and making sure things looked nice. I am really happy with their work. They are going to be my goto person for projects going forward.
