I found my new favorite chill spot--The Aftermath Lounge! I visited on a Friday at 1:30 PM and loved the relaxed atmosphere, allowing me to people watch, work, drink, and linger at my own pace. The vibes were laid-back, enhanced by a great playlist and multiple TVs. I had a great conversation with Brandon, the owner, who was bartending and offered excellent recommendations. I ordered a refreshing glass of the Slap & Tickle IPA -- Their selection of wine and brews is perfect, not overwhelming but a good range! The space is clean, refreshing, and smells great--definitely upgraded features yet low-key vibes. Plus, they've partnered with Mardi Gras Tuesday down the street for delicious cuisine--another fantastic local gem! I can't wait to return for NFL Sunday with their all-day happy hour and to check out their karaoke nights. Highly recommend this welcoming Sherman Oaks spot!

Strolled in on a Sunday after hitting valley grounds coffee to watch some football. Brian was incredibly hospitable and had the sound on for the Pats/9ers game, always a plus. Such a lovely surprise with a great selection of draft beers and wine. Hope to see them again soon!

It's a great place to gather and drink with friends and friendly strangers. It's bigger than you think, too, since besides the main room it has a mezzanine, a private room near the bathrooms, and an outdoor patio area. While they don't serve food, there are always food trucks or other food vendors there. I also love the community events they put on. And social clubs even have meetups here. It's just good vibes all around. And honestly, every beer I've had here has been amazing. I recently had a sour that I loved. They also have slushies and nonalcoholic drinks. Their NA mojito was great when they had it. Only tough part is the parking but if the lot is unavailable, there's usually street parking in the neighborhood or across Vineland at the meters. There is plenty of street parking around and the place is walkable. I visited this past Friday for the soccer game (Brazil Vs. Haiti) and noticed it was not extremely packed as it was the night prior (Mexico had won). Walked in and formed line to place my beer order. I went with "Big Screen Energy" IPA 8.2% imperial/double. I enjoyed this flavor so much that I ended up getting two more rounds later. Plenty of beer selection on tap and even wine. They offer indoor/outdoor seating as well as some space upstairs. Indoors they have a big screen, and the outdoor patio has a TV. Lastly, the upstairs area has a smaller TV. They also have rotating food trucks for anyone that develops hunger or cravings. They are pet and child friendly; very welcoming overall. I enjoyed visiting once again.

Deal with the Devil is my favorite IPA here. Ordering is easy, just go to the bar, place your order (check the paper menus by the register first), open a tab and they'll give you a number to put on your table. Wait for your food to arrive and enjoy! Don't forget the beers! For food, our go to is always their pizza (check out the cheese pull in my photos) and fougasse. Our kids love the pizza and plain curly fries. Chicken wings and their Caesar salad is good too! We miss the panna cotta they used to have. They were delicious! The cookies are a good substitute for that sweet craving after a meal. Parking can be difficult and stressful at times to find a spot. You'll have to drive around to find one. They have parking in front of the brewery, but it's VERY limited. We Uber with friends and family sometimes to avoid the stress of finding parking. Staff is always kind and always there to make suggestions on the beers they serve. Don't forget to take a photo in their photo booth before you leave! For $7, you'll be able to take 3 photos and the machine will print two copies for you. Awesome souvenir that you and your partner will be able to take one home!

I didn't have a good experience, but decided that it could have been a one-time bad luck thing, so I didn't review. I recently tried it again now that it became Brews Brothers, and I'm sorry to say that it really misses the mark for me. Here is the breakdown of the pros and cons: Pros: One star for friendly service and being dog friendly. One star for good alcohol. Cons: - Seating is very uncomfortable. When this place was Stout, seating was very comfy. But for some reason, they've raised the bench seating WAY too high, to the point that your feet dangle if you're under 5'6". You're WAY above the table, and it's awkward and quite uncomfortable. - Food is sub-par. We tried an Okie burger and an ahi sandwich. The Okie burger was dry, tasteless, and underseasoned. The ahi sandwich was bland and unremarkable. The fries were far too overbreaded for my taste. I used to love this place, but now, after two not-great experiences with meh food and bad seating, I do not think I'll be back. Please, guys! Lower your bench seating and improve your burgers! You're competing with Forman's and Laurel Tavern!

Because if you don't have your $4 the bartender will point to the sign and let you know what the sign says, then give you a weird look like where's my money. Upon entering I was very impressed with the ample cocktail style seating and large stage the venue offered. It actually had a supper club feel, once the host and the live band took to the stage. I signed up for the open mic, and and had a wonderful experience reciting my poem. I have been a repeat guest ever since. The artist that performed were very talented. The show was interactive and entertaining, as the host has the audience participate in games and activities throughout the night. My favorite is where the DJ and the band battle each other. In this game, the audience picks a song and the DJ has to play the song on the turn tables, and then the band has to play the same song with their instruments or vice versa. The audience then votes for either the DJ or the band. Can I just say "AMAAAZING!!!" The open wine and vodka bar was a great BONUS. There is a suggested tip of $4.00 for premium liquor, such as tequila. Where else can you get a Margarita for under $5.00? My suggestion is to bring cash or drink wine or vodka, if you don't want to give the bartender a decent tip for a free drink. I definitely recommend The Red Light Lounge to anyone looking for a GREAT evening . I'll be celebrating my birthday there in November with friends and family. Don't take my word for it...come out and see for yourself. Hope to see you there!
