Let me first advise you that this review is written by a very particular, artistic, and detail…read moreoriented person, me. I've only had 1 other body shop experience here in FL. so far, and it left a lot to be desired; the paint match was inadequate, and they did not heed my warning about removing my bumper to access certain clips from the rear in order to remove a specific trim piece; and by not listening to me, they broke the clips, put the trim back on half-assed, and now there are gaps where there should not be... That was my experience ELSEWHERE... My experience with Surreal Customs has been nothing but great so far (I'm one day from picking my car up). I found them while searching online for body shops who specialized in customization, such as: widebody, fender flaring, molding body kits, customizing bumpers by hybridizing 2 different bumpers - to be merged as one, etc... I had big plans for my car.. I saw their Facebook reviews, and was thoroughly impressed, nearly 5 stars out of half a hundred or so people, that was saying something. I gave the shop a call, and spoke to the owner, he responded to all of my inquiries thoroughly, and I asked if I could swing by to see some of their work in person.. A MUST DO, for any body shop you're considering, as photos never tell the whole story. I visited the shop, met with the owner, he showed me some of the stuff going on there, some fender widening in progress, some paint jobs, a frame off restoration, etc, I was happy to see all of my expectations were confirmed, it looked like they did good work. I brought my car in, we reviewed the scope of work, we priced it, and we were set to go. I dropped off my car, and since I have been kept very in the loop as to it's status, any discrepancies from our original expectations, etc, in the final stages of them making my car ready for my pick up, they noticed a small imperfection had occurred during the curing process of some filler, that was previously smooth (I'd felt it smooth a few days prior when I stopped by), RATHER THAN trying to pass off the car to me w/that issue there, they contacted me, let me know the issue, and let me know they were addressing it, and asked if I could wait one more night, which I gladly will for a proper job. I appreciate the small stuff, which is so sadly not the norm anymore. Things like: not trying to "pass the buck", and standing behind your work, these guys do that, and are stand up guys. My car already looked great when I saw it today, and can't wait to pick it up tomorrow. Long story short, I've seen their paint work in person, LOOKS LIKE FACTORY PAINT, their customization is very good from what I've seen, and their ethics are outstanding, which is probably the most important part. So whether you're looking for a body shop for a simple fender bender, or for completely custom work, I whole heatedly recommend Tim & his crew over at Surreal Customz. Thanks guys!

Now that I've said that - my experiences with Tim and the squad at Sureal have been fantastic. From minor work, like putting a coat of candy red paint on my tail lights to really set off the rear of the car, to reworking fenders to really tuck the wheel and lay out. They're great with communication, and the time estimates have been spot on. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Thanks again for all the hard work and effort.

That brought the price down to $1500. Then, my wife reminded me that my she bought a car max warranty. Antonio took it all in stride, callled carmax and got approval. Now the repairs are only costing us $300. He also got us a rental while they were repairing it. Great electric Chevy blazer. His communication was excellent, and the service quick and thorough. I highly recommend this service tech!

The service rep did not hear me say passenger side or I must have not communicated clearly the passenger side. The took out the wrong side (Driver) which I was willing to let go. The kept it another day and removed the correct seat this time. When I went to pay, I noticed a total of 8 hours of labor. Which is ridiculous as my service rep texted me "All done" 2 hours after the technician started working on it the 2nd day. Which obviously means he took ONLY 2 hours the first day. Therefore, a Total of 4 hours should be billed as I have proof of her text to me "All Don" just 2 hours after he started. I have tried to communicate that to the service rep which she directed me to her manager. He did not call me the whole next day and it seems he's blowing me off as I haven't received a call from him the following day or even today, which is July 6th*
