The owner and customers were so kind, friendly, helpful and energetic. It was a delight to be here from the moment we stepped through the door. The spin room was great. I'm used to a different indoor spin bike so it took me some time to get adjusted to these because they have a screen and the resistance wheel is different. Aside from getting situated to a new bike, I had a lot of fun! This class had a ton of choreo which isn't my personal preference, but that's typically fairly optional anyways. It was a great workout and the women at the front were friendly and helpful in getting me on the bike number I wanted, since some people were moving around their bikes. They also have earplugs to grab if you need em!

He has an excellent way of engaging with students of all levels and modifying class to suit their needs. The only downside is during some classes, a different staff member vacuums during that time. He interrupts class by coming into our training space as we are conditioning...which is not only rude but not safe. The instructor that needs to then try to talk loudly over the vacuum. It's very distracting and disrespectful! Also, on occasion people are outside smoking and the smoke drifts into the gym. Overall, I give the movement sanctuary an excellent rating. But would like these other issues addressed. Thank you!

I did the 90s class through ClassPass and it was so fun. Upbeat instructor with good energy - very friendly and welcoming. Made me feel like I was a regular already even though it was my very first class. Studio could have been a bit cleaner though. The floor beneath my bare feet felt gritty/dusty. I'm used to the spotless Tree of Life Yoga studio in South Pasadena so my standards may be too high. Other than that, a very unique yoga experience that I would love to repeat. It's unfortunate it is located a bit far from where I live or I would be going more often with my ClassPass.

It was so amazing, thank you so much Emily! I learned new stretches I had never even heard before from PT's that really helped me release pain everywhere, including my jaw, hip flexors, ears, and shoulders. She also records and posts her instruction for every class in a Facebook group, and I'm happy I can go check out the new stretches I learned before the next class to help eliminate pain during the week. AMAZING class with Olivia. It was raining outside, her sound bowls with the thunder and real drops falling on the roof while she also used her bamboo water-making instrument was BEAUTIFUL during our meditation. The first 20 minutes of flow, followed by deep-stretching yin, were also the perfect preamble to prepare our minds and bodies to really sink into our sound meditation to close. Infrared panels were ON YAY! (And also YAY to the GREAT new ventilation fans installed and turned ON to cool us down for the meditation segment - SO GRATEFUL for those, too!) I love all of the different classes and time options, which make it very easy to work yoga into my schedule. Whatever kind of yoga you are feeling up to each day-- there's a class for that! I also like that there are both hot yoga and non-hot yoga classes, so I can mix it up depending what I'm feeling that day. The BE's raving reputation is well known in the community, and when you visit BE you'll know exactly why. And I have to give a special shout-out. I joined the BE when I found out that Dana Flynn was teaching there. She is truly special. Yoga with her is not just yoga-- it's an experience.

There was a lot of equipment that you can use right in the studio. There's nice cubbies outside for your belongings. In my class, there were two fitness instructors in the back who had someone recording their practice. So if you prefer not to be on camera, stay in the front. There's a nice floor to ceiling mirror on the left of the room so you can see your poses. Everything was clean and well kept.

From the warm welcome sign on my locker to the team reassuring I felt comfortable for my first ride, CC truly makes you feel warm and cozy the minute you walk through their doors. There are a few different style of rides to choose from so be sure to read through each description to avoid any let downs. Each class focuses on riding to the beat of the music; while building muscle and endurance. Each instructor has a radiating and infectious personality making it contagious throughout the class. Expect words of wisdom, motivational phrases and an overall good time. Don't have spin shoes? Not to worry as they offer pairs to borrow and return. You'll also need to sign a waiver before your first ride. Be sure to bring a water bottle. They have a filtered water station in case you run out. They even offer towels for those who sweat *me*. And even an ice cold towel for afterwards. This truly is a community and it feels like family. If you are looking to feed off of positive energy while burning some calories while dancing on a stationary bike, Central Cycle is it!
