The owner and customers were so kind, friendly, helpful and energetic. It was a delight to be here from the moment we stepped through the door. The spin room was great. Really enjoyed this one! I saw they were doing an emo classics class so I had to sign up. I brought my own shoes but you can rent them onsite. I'm used to a different indoor spin bike so it took me some time to get adjusted to these because they have a screen and the resistance wheel is different. Aside from getting situated to a new bike, I had a lot of fun! This class had a ton of choreo which isn't my personal preference, but that's typically fairly optional anyways. It was a great workout and the women at the front were friendly and helpful in getting me on the bike number I wanted, since some people were moving around their bikes. Rush offers high intensity spin classes! They are so fun, great energy and quality bikes. You can bring your own spin shoes or rent theirs for $2. The instructors are friendly and will help you set up your bike if you need assistance. They also have lockers available to put your things in before class. Something I love about this place that I haven't seen from other studios is after the class you will get an email that tells you how many calories you burnt, where you ranked in the class compared to others who attended and more fun info. I'm a competition driven person so I like to use this information to improve myself at my next class. There is street parking right outside the studio or a lot just across the street. read more

I have not done spin, let alone worked out in a longggg time! I was a little nervous I wouldn't be able to keep up with everyone and I was right. BUT!!!! No one made me feel bad or pointed it out. I just kept going at a pace and setting that I could handle. I really enjoyed the high energy of the instructor and the music helped a lot. I also liked that the lights turned off so no one could see me panting and catching my breath. *phew* Morgan was so sweet and helped me find my bike, adjust my seat and strap in my shoes. She made me feel very comfortable and welcomed. I forget the instructors name but she was great too! I'll definitely be back!! read more

Today I had my first ever cycling class and I have to say I'm not disappointed! The ladies michaela, and Emily were so sweet and encouraging and motivating. Made me feel like I could actually make it through the whole class. Idk why I haven't tried cycling before. This studio is so cute and when you get in the cycling room it's dark with black lights. You choose a bike and get shoes prior to you class so you go to your bike and lock in your shoes. You do a warm up and then get into the rhythm of the music while cycling!! Even though I had to sit most of the time, I feel like I kept up pretty well, and can only get better from here. It's such a good energy. Like Emily said , you go everyday giving your energy to other people. You need this moment for yourself. It was such a great motivational workout , and I cannot wait to go back!!! It is a little on the pricey side. But if it's something that will keep me coming back, I don't mind paying! read more

Pretty disappointed in how inflexible the memberships are. I'm leaving the country for 3 months and unfortunately am leaving sooner than expected. I hadnt used my unlimited yet for the month, so I called to see if I could switch from an unlimited month to a 4 class pack as that's all I really have time left to do and was told it's completely impossible to switch memberships after the payment has already gone through for the month. I don't really see how it's literally impossible to process a refund for the difference. Never heard of a business not being able to process a refund or an exchange in membership. Seems like a pretty greedy policy. Kelly suggested I freeze my account for the three months I'm gone, but I don't really want to come back to somewhere that's this inflexible and unwilling to make accommodations under any circumstances. So I said I just wanted to cancel my membership instead and she was weirdly aggressive about it lol. There's a lot of great cycling in st Pete though, so I'm excited to find a new studio when I get back. That's not even the worst part, I've had to pay for an extra month on top of not being able to get much use out of the original month I was leaving on. it's sad in 2021 that people still have to read the fine print to avoid getting charged an extra month, but just be aware you still have to pay for an entire month after you cancel due to some fine print BS. So it's not like you have can just cancel and move on. You have to pay for an additional month? I don't really know how to make that make sense. Honestly pretty disappointed in this studio. The first time I went they knew it was my first class so they were helpful, attentive, and made me feel so welcome! Fast forward to every time I've gone since then and it's a completely different vibe. They don't say hello when you walk in, they don't even ask for your name you have to tell them to check in, they don't ask if you need shoes you have to ask for them (??this part is stupid everyone who walks in needs shoes they should immediately be asking what size shoe do you need) and they never ask if you need help setting up your bike. The bikes can be tricky to adjust and when I do ask for your help the girls act super annoyed by me asking them to do their job. Overall absolutely over this place and hope the owner and her mean girl squad can learn to be nicer and friendlier to the people paying their bills. read more

We waited, sometimes impatiently, for this pretty incredible spin studio to come to fruition. Our intro class was superb! Everyone was extremely upbeat, friendly, helpful and fun. "G", a teeny dynamo Rush Cycle Master Instructor, lead the inaugural class with pizzazz, humor and energy on steroids. Needless to say, we exited fully spent and completely satisfied. All cycles were occupied and every participant entered and left with good vibe. The studio owner is amazing too! We are so fortunate. read more

I had never tried a spin class before coming to Rush for the first time in June. After the first class I was hooked. The workout is so high energy and motivating! All the instructors are different and have different styles but they're all AMAZING! Everyone that works and rides there is so friendly and always welcoming to new people. Just took my first class at Rush Cycle. They currently have an offer where the first class is free, & it was nice to be able to try before I buy considering a single class is $25. I highly recommend trying to arrive 20-30 minutes early as it can be difficult to find parking. The front desk attendant was very pleasant and helped me set up my bike since it was my first time attending a class. There are lots of bikes in the room & the class wasn't too crowded, probably because I went to a mid morning class on a weekday. Another perk of early arrival is having plenty of time to get set up on the bike; I only had a few minutes before class started to get on the bike & wish I'd had more time to get comfortable and warm up. The room is kept dark and the music is loud, which I enjoyed. It's easy to pick up on what's going on in class if you've done spin before, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend for first time spinners. The instructor was very encouraging but I wouldn't go in expecting one on one assistance. It was definitely an intense workout & I'd do it again if classes weren't so expensive. read more
