I was extremely happy I signed up for this class for two main reasons. 1- it seriously helps you learn the lingo and form you will be using in every class. This is where I met Holly, an instructor and manager who was so welcoming and friendly. That leads me to number 2. This class gave me the courage to come back. I want to make it clear this is a great workout. They will push you to your limits and you will feel great afterwards. But this class and Holly made me feel encouraged, welcomed and enough which is what I feared for so long. This is what you get when you come to this studio. I came back for my second class called classic which is 50 minutes of pure work!! I am still learning the form, still getting used to it and that's ok. I give it my best, my instructor Kayla was awesome and gave me tips throughout and then followed up with me after class. If you are in a similar situation to this post, try this class!! You will not regret. My favorite part is that the moves are low impact and high intensity so anyone of any fitness level or age can take this class! The studio is clean, large and offers retail too! They have an awesome app to schedule classes, set goals and keep track of your progress. They have ample class times to fit anyone's schedule and a variety of packages ranging from individuals classes, class packs or unlimited to for your needs and budget. I attended one pilates class many years ago, so it was nice to get a refresher. There are different types of classes: reformer (contemporary), cardio, balance, control, restore, suspension, and FIT. There are about 10 spots per class, so the more popular classes fill up with waitlists. They will have certain specials intermittently through the year. Beware of the cancellation policy! Classes will also use various equipment: TriggerPoint, TRX® springboard, EXO-chair to help build a better you!

That was one of the main reasons I agreed to move forward. Almost immediately, that promise was broken. My schedule was constantly changed with little to no notice, making it extremely difficult to plan my time or take this opportunity seriously. On top of that, the management was disorganized and unprofessional when it came to communication. Instead of addressing concerns or trying to fix the situation, things only got worse. After I decided to part ways due to these issues, I was then banned, which felt completely unnecessary and unprofessional. To make matters worse, I am still waiting to be paid for my training time over two months later. I was promised compensation, and that promise has not been honored. At the end of the day, this isn't even about a large amount of money -- it's about basic respect and professionalism. If you work, you should be paid. Simple. Overall, this experience showed a lack of organization, accountability, and integrity. I would not recommend this gym to anyone looking for a reliable or professional environment.

The atmosphere was uncomfortable, with men walking around grunting and even farting--definitely not my scene. My husband, on the other hand, decided to stick with it due to its proximity to our home. He figured the low cost and convenience made it worthwhile, so he developed a routine and stuck with it. Then the hurricane hit, and the gym was closed for over a month. My husband lost his routine, and I didn't want him going back because we never saw any professional remediation company address potential hurricane damage. Despite our concerns, when we tried to cancel his membership, the nightmare got worse. We called the 34th Street location (where we signed up) to cancel, only to be told they couldn't process it because the 34th location had "never closed." That's despite the fact that Pasadena--the gym he actually used --had been flooded. We were forced to sign up at 34th only because the Pasadena location was never open for signups, but their records clearly showed his usage at Pasadena. In the end, they refused to cancel his membership and scammed him out of over $500 for a service he couldn't even use.
