Over the years, I have naturally gravitated towards a select few spots due to their location - Addeo's is one of them. Addeo's has a rich history in the Bronx - at its heart, it's a bakery that specializes in bread. They also have two pizzerias/Italian restaurants - one on the west side and one here in Morris Park. The latter is relatively new compared so its other businesses, having opened in the last 6 years or so. I'm not exaggerating when I say that it's some of the best pizza I've had. New York at it's finest with fresh ingredients and that signature Addeo's bread used for the crust - it's everything you want in a slice. In addition to classic thin crust, they also make grandma pies, rolls, and calzones. Outside of pizza, they have several apps, soups, sandwiches, and entrees; one of my favorites is the grilled chicken and broccoli rabe sandwich with fresh melted mozz mmmm. While pizza will forever be a hot topic with New Yorkers, I will gladly throw Addeo's into the discussion of best pizza in the Bronx and NYC at large.
