This place is a hidden gem in the Bronx. I have never been in a Liquor Superstore like this and I am so happy it's in my neighborhood. I will go out of my way to come here for alcohol, because the pricing is marvelous. Every time I'm picking something up in this store, I'm always mesmerized by the signs above my head labeling what liquor aisle I'm in: it literally says "Rum, Vodka, Gin..." Also, this place always has a tasting happening. I've been to this location dozens of times and I can honestly tell you that I have never not been asked if I want a sample of some new drink; it's fabulous. The three things you need to know about this amazing place: 1) I highly recommended signing up for their free membership/loyalty program. If you go there as frequent as I do, I definitely advise making this decision. The loyalty program gives you certain discounts, depending on the points you accumulate with purchases. I work in this mall so I visit this liquor store almost every week. Mostly for the very large selection of wines. The sales floor staff is always extremely helpful when it comes to picking out my wine a d suggesting new wines to try. I truly enjoy coming here because of the atmosphere. Wine and liquor tastings are done here weekly which is always a major plus. I will say the salesfloor/stock staff are more friendly and outgoing than the cashiers. The stock crew are predominately men so that may have to do with it. The female cashiers always seem to look like they have an attitude lol. It doesn't bother me because I have never had an issue. I came in here on Monday to buy wine for my bosses and was greeting by James. I told him what I needed and without blinking he went down two different aisles and walked to exactly where these two wines were located and handed them over. If you have ever been here you should know the store is huge, and the wine selection is massive, so major kudos to James for his knowledge of merchandise. the customer service i received here was AMAZING!! definitely something special. normally I do not leave reviews but there was this one person that made me want to leave a review so much. his name was Justin I think he said. he was a average height young guy with curly hair and medium skin tone. I remember asking him for 19 crimes. little did I know there was so many different ones (I thought it was only one 19crimes, I didn't know it was a brand) he could tell I didn't know which bottle I wanted so he went out of his way to detail to me what each bottle would taste like. I was looking for the Shiraz but didn't know until he described the taste to me. immediately I knew that was the one I tried and loved. i then asked him for a recommendation for a somewhat sweet red wine to which he recommended rashi claret and as I sip it right now he once again nailed it on the head. it's like he knew I'd love this. the whole time he was so welcoming and warm. he seemed so happy and willing to help me even though I had no idea what I wanted. 9/30/2016 -- I thought I reviewed the place before. I first came here, after noticing they were opening when in TJ Maxx -- around New Years Eve 2015(?) because I didn't have time to get to my regular spot. The prices are NOT that cheap. In fact, some are $4 - $5 more than I'm accustomed to paying, but desperation and distance weighed in, so I bought just the bare minimum. On my most recent return, just 5 days ago on a Monday while in the area (Target), I figured I'd stop by since I needed some Tanqueray minis. I go check out the price for the minis. Now hear this: the price per mini was $1.99 per bottle, but if you bought 3 or more, you pay $1.66. AND if you bought by the 12-pack, it's reduced even more to $.99 each (since you're buying in bulk). After discussing the details with the girl, it sounded like the deal I was looking for -- since I wanted a large amount. So I asked for five (5) 12-packs, which equals 60 bottles. She said they didn't have five (5) 12-packs in stock, she took my number and said she'll call me because they'll more than likely get more in a few days. I gave her my number and waited for her to call. Fast forward to Thursday. Keep in mind that I haven't received a call from her (or them) AT ALL! I call them Thursday afternoon (3 days later) and state why I'm calling. The girl remembered who I was because she says "Is this Dee?" Then she says -- now get this -- "oh, that's not the price anymore; it's not on sale. You needed them for an event, right? Well, the price is actually $1.99 a bottle and, when is your event? Next week? Well, they won't go back on sale until, umm, November." REALLY??? The neighborhood liquor stores are selling them at that price! This just sounded like, because I needed so many bottles, they wanted to hit me in the head and raise the price to kill the deal. RIGHT? Or am I wrong for thinking this way? Also, I felt it was very shady because if they really had good intentions, why didn't she (or they) call me the next day (as they said they would) to let me know this? Now, I admit I messed up because I should've paid for them on the spot to lock in the price, but I thought they were honorable, so I just gave them my number and expected to have what I needed in a couple of days. Now I'm here scrambling around to find these minis! Ughhhh......... I'm done with Wine & Liquor Superstore because (1) they're just trying to be another PJs and (2) they're prices are 4 to 5 to 6 Dollars more than PJs' prices. You ONLY get a deal on some bottles if you buy 3 or more (of the same brand and flavor). See, now this is why I'm always willing to spend the gas and pay the $.50 on the meter to ride over to PJs and get good deals. Plus it's well worth the trip because when I go there, I always have a shopping cart full of goodies, so it's well worth it. Even if it were just one bottle, I'm still paying $4 less than Wine & Liquor Superstore. This place may be a "superstore" because of the size and variety, BUT they're definitely not cheap. The ONLY good thing about this store is that they're convenient and parking isn't an issue because it's part of a mini mall. So if you're desperate and can't get across town, ok, buy what you absolutely need at this place or STEER CLEAR!!!!! I would give them 3 stars * * * because of the variety ONLY, but the customer service and honor code earned them 2 stars * * because I've definitely had better. read more

Excellent wine and liquor selection. Very clean as well. You know what made my experience disappointing? Nobody greeted me at the door. Nobody asked if I needed help. The employees were just trying to "look" busy. I didn't even know there was a membership program until now that I'm writing my review. I spent almost 20 minutes just finding yellow tail. There were deals and signs everywhere. One particularly said 3 for 10. I thought it was a great idea being that I just spent 20 minutes looking for one bottle of moscato. When I got to the cash register, the young lady said that it had to be only one kind. I had brought two other types but same company. She didn't offer to help me take the two wine bottles back. I was beginning to feel frustrated so I went to get two other of the SAME kind. The sales signs are not clear and anyone would could have been confused. It was my first time here and I could have used a little direction to where everything was. The cashier who attended me was not friendly or even approachable. Granted I got what I came for but for my first visit, this wasn't a good first impression. Customer service begins at the door and ends with your cashier inviting you to return.
