Great selection BUT they are not opened until 9 as stated and posted on their door. I was in there to shop for a large party and they unfortunately lost our business when they said "we are closing in 1 min" at 7:59. They reported that people have been confused and disappointed about the hours, but didn't tell us when we walked in at 7:45. PLEASE update your hours somewhere so this doesn't keep happening to people who rely on these later hours. Wish I could've said more good things but didn't have the opportunity to make a purchase. The staff that work behind the register aren't very friendly or helpful. I've come here 3 times and every single time, they've been talking amongst themselves and not engaging any of the customers at all. I would have given one more star had it not been for an inappropriately gawking dark skin man at the entrance/exit. Since there was no indication that he was a worker, I puzzled over this insanely behavig man, and their policy that somewhat allowed a loiterer as him inside. Wrong: I could eventually recognize his arm rested on a handle of a cart with small wheels. Even after the initial assumption was corrected, however, and him acknowledged as a part of the staff, an unlike loss prevention agent who'd also move carts, the indication that store somehow let this man count on his highly premitive kind of security tactics--gawking at people menacingly (?)--with all his might, as if this would have some effect on their surveillance, and surpass their seemingly adequate in-store security system. Consequently, this establishment gave me the impression that their business being not too great and the site unsafe. At least, my sense of security was perversely heightened for the indication: the alcohol bottles littered in the area I had recognized for so long were actually caused by their patrons (?) No wonder too many nips littered all over around the corner and across the highway walkacross, etc. I would think twice of going back although some kinds of good deals they offer might be worth looking at again. Yet only if you would barter discount liquors with bad vibe and odd customer service, bartering in not so great area. What's more, there are, after all, too many liqor stores and some are better from all the angles imaginable on top of that I need to go to a store as this very rarely. I highly recommend them as they not only deliver on what they say, they also back it up. The customer support is highly responsive and really works to make you happy. OMGhorrible customer service, cashiers are SUPER RUDE. They charge you for the bag without even asking! When I brought to the attention of the cashier that I have my own bag and why wouldn't she even bother to ask if I needed one, she was so pissed off. I told her she already charged me a bag fee, she stated: If it makes a difference I will give you back the 5 cents in such a humiliating tone in front of other people. Girl are you serious? Very nasty. This is my money of course it makes a difference ( it's simple math) why do I have to pay for something I don't need, second of all doesn't she care about the EARTH? Huge selection...wholesale prices... My identical twin sister and I went to this warehouse today and were treated like utter crap. Nobody asked if we needed help, even though other people were being helped right in front of our faces. We look young, but we are very used to being carded, but the way it happened today was verging on harassment. We went to buy a gift for a friend. When we got to the register, my sister had her identification readily available (as did I) for the woman at the register to check. Despite this, she thought it was necessary to very loudly yell, "ID please." My sister then pulled out a credit card and the woman at the next register said to the woman at our register, "You need to check IDs," after it had already been checked. Maybe they didn't know that if we have credit cards with OUR names on them that match OUR identifications, they are very unlikely to be fake, almost impossible. Well, I was pissed already, but then we were told that credit card purchases have a $25 minimum. What on earth is that? It's 2013; some people only carry cards. Thanks, but if I really need alcohol, I'll travel to somewhere less sketchy with employees who actually know how to provide adequate service. Apparently there is some confusion about this review. I am NOT UPSET THAT I WAS CARDED, since that is state (and national) law. I am upset that the people at the counter were nasty when my sister and I had already provided IDs and credit cards. We know credit cards do not provide age, but I'm pretty sure our state issued IDs, with our birthdates, did indicate that we were old enough to purchase alcohol. Maybe they just couldn't do the math? Perhaps the signs all over the store that say "You need to have been born before this date in 199_" and the fact that we were born in the 80s were just not indication enough for them. read more

Easy as 1-2-3-! Great place to shop! I had been seeking cases of mini moscato wine bottles to provide as favors for my best friend's baby shower. A lot of places kept giving me the same story, "call me next week and I can tell you", "I don't discuss price over the phone", "I don't have any now, but when is your event? I will order it for you". If only these businesses' knew how crazy my best friend, pregnant and all, would be, if I had waited on them only to find out that they could not provide the product. After googling stores in the area, this place popped up and offered me a GREAT deal! Not only do they provide an active inventory on their website, but you can order and pick up in-store. I purchased 52 bottles at an unbeatable price. I was so darn happy! Pick-up was a piece of cake as well. I spent probably 10 minutes waiting for the cases and paying for my purchase. The staff was courteous, no issues, and gracious enough to bring the boxes to my car in the shared parking lot next to Dunkin' Donuts. Aside from my purchase, the facility is immaculate. I will not be returning! Came in for something that I didn't know was kept behind the counter so I asked a lady for assistance. When I made the selection she immediately scanned it assuming that I was finished. When I told her I wanted to pick up a boxed wine she made a face and slammed my bottle down on the counter. I apologized as I realized this was an inconvenience for her. She did not reply. I went to the back to pick up my boxed wine only to find out that they were all expired!! No apology-again! The guy was nice and offered to look in the back and bring a box out. Another employee came out with the box and just to be sure I checked the expiration- this too was expired! No apology again. Not sure if these people are genuinely miserable or are not getting paid to work. I've been to liquor stores where employees have been more than willing to help and guide customers as not everyone is well versed in whiskey or wines. Definitely not this places attitude! read more

I tried to order a birthday gift for my son in-law. I was waiting for it to be sent. I emailed and found out they were waiting for a verification code from me. They resent the code to me, since I didn't receive the first one. Evidently they charge your card for the purchase and a small cents charge. The small cents charge is what you need to enter. I only had the purchase amount they never sent the second charge. Then I received a message I had to call the store. So I did and the cashier said there wasn't a manager there. So I asked her there isn't a key holder or manager on duty? Then she said hold on , someone else got on the phone. She said she couldn't help me. The person that has authorization is out all week. She suggested I send another email which I did and requested to cancel my order. They sent me back a condescending reply. My son in law spends a reasonable amount with them. I suggested he take his business elsewhere. By the way this was a birthday gift for my son in law. So I came in a couple of weeks ago, wanted to get my sister-in-law something special for her wedding anniversary. This place came as a recommendation actually from a friend of mine who got a bottle of vodka engraved for her boyfriend's birthday. I didn't really have a clear clue as to what type of wine I wanted, I don't know that much about good wine anyways. The store is laid out nicely and the selection is big, and they even had some interesting things I've never heard of before. Right away, a manager came over, super friendly, and asked me if I needed help. I explained my situation, and he asked what I was thinking of getting, and then offered me a few choices to try! Never experienced that, awesome tastings, and loved the fact that this store actually lets a customer get their money's worth! I ended up getting a great deal also - the prices are pretty decent. They also weren't too backed up that day so after I purchased the bottle, I ordered it to be laser engraved and came back for it an hour later. I have purchased from Liquor & Wine Warehouse several times, online. I have also had conversations with the owner, Alex M. I find him to be pleasant, responsive to calls and emails, and has located hard to get Russian wines for me on request. Their pricing is below what others charge for the same products, they packaged the bottles in form fitting foam to protect it during shipment, and shipped quite quickly. I had my wine in under a week. I had a couple issues with their website, but they resolved the issues when reported, within a day or two. I have not visited the store, but will continue to do online shopping with them from my location outside NY state. read more
