2 stars for the last minute walk in opportunity and for the great reception staff and their customer service! I walked into this establishment due to the last minute availability and the ratings being fairly good. My issue was with the masseuse who had no idea what he was doing. Despite my muscles tensing up and me flinching several times, he continued with the same amount of pressure and used the same technique. On more than one occasion I mentioned that it was very painful without any change. As a result, I stopped the massage and left before it ended. The pain is so bad that I can't put my backpack on due to excessive bruising. I have to say that the reception staff was very understanding and did not charge me for the full amount of time (I did tip to accommodate for that though) and asked if I wanted someone else but as I was in too much discomfort I declined. From past massages, the masseuse is able to read and accommodate their technique based off their clients reaction, but the more my muscles tensed up, the harder the pressure he used which wasn't what I needed. I am sure, based off others reviews, that there are more competent staff members there so I guess it wasn't my lucky day. read more

This was my first massage in like three years and I forgot how great a massage feels. I was greeted by a very friendly staff and the entrance was very bright and welcoming. The massage rooms are set at a fantastic temperature where I am not freezing cold. The rooms were clean and were not overbearing with fragrances from essential oils. My massage was fantastic. There were knots I didn't even know about thanks to working from home and being on the computer all day. He did ask me if the pressure applied was okay or not so they can adjust the pressure. For 60 minutes, a lot can be done. This was also my first time having hot stones on my back and it felt weird at first but afterwards, it felt wonderful. I will be getting more massages in my future. I didn't want to try anything fancy like deep tissue in case I cried but I will have to try it next time. read more

Awesome, no frills, massage. This is not a Spa, you are not going to get mimosas and a cozy robe. You are going to get a straight forward, kick your a$$ (in a good way), massage. The place wasn't fancy, but it was clean, with gentle music and no overbearing aromatherapy scents. I'm an artist, so I am hunched over my work all day, it causes some serious back and shoulder issues. Peter did a great job really tearing into my problems spots. I walked in, in pain, tense and tight, and left as a noodle. I slept so good! They have a lot of availability (you don't have to wait WEEKS when you have an urgent issue, I was able to get a same day appointment), a price point you can't beat, and extended hours that work with your schedule. The second I walked into Li's massage, I was impressed!! So clean, so neat, and the entrance was so inviting with a classy reception desk! It reminded me of a legit spa! I was greeted by the man who was to massage me and we were quickly on our way (I made a reservation the day before). Over all, my massage was very relaxing! 90 minutes of bliss. I got a combo massage, 30 minutes feet and 60 minutes full body, and I can't complain except for the fact that the foot massage chair didn't recline so it was hard for me to fall asleep, ha ha! Absolutely one of the best massages I've have received in my life. The professionalism is without a doubt above board and they don't harass you for payment until you are through with your massage. I only took displeasure at a client who came out bragging about how great the massage was and then only wanted to leave a $5.00 tip on the CC. Company policy clearly states that there is a $1.00 fee for CC payments over $50.00 to offset the cost they get charged. Said Client started to complain about swindling $1.00 from her. The manager was very tactful in dealing with the customer's complaint and clearly pointed out that every customer paying with a Credit Card has to bear the cost. An absolute joke of a business. I called in and scheduled an appointment. The place seemed amazing, clean and exactly what I was looking for. I am a very patient person and after what seemed a long time I finally grabbed my phone and realized they had left me there for an HOUR. I got dressed and walked to the front where it was empty. Waited five minutes for the woman who greeted me to walk out staring down at her phone and asked her what was going on. She was completely shocked, they had FORGOT I WAS THERE! Called into Li's they got me in right away! I was in so much pain. I walked in to a lovely environment. Greeted by a ray of sunshine! Incredibly happy and nice. Went right to the room. Dim lit , super comfortable, cozy and clean. They shut the door. Not much instruction. If you've had a massage before you know what to do. My masseuse came in they worked on everything out even your glutes which is super important because we all hold so much tension there! It was soothing, relaxing and awesome! I even asked for extra time and they accommodated. The payment on the way out didn't like my card even though I knew it was fine. They were super polite and helpful. I know to bring cash next time. During massage, therapist will ask throughout to make sure you are comfortable. Since I promised the owners to put a review, I want to keep my word. Visiting friends in Denver area for the first time... After few days of meetings, my friend recommend we all go for a massage last Wednesday. Given there were 5 of us, they worked out their schedule so we all could get a massage at the same time. The service was great and staff friendly. I went in with shoulder tightness and came out loose and rested. My massage therapist was accommodating and adjusted pressure at my request. My review is technically 3.5 stars, but I'm rounding up for good measure... particularly because I'm willing to come back and give this place another try. I received 2 gift cards to Li's Massage as part of a wedding gift and my friend had nothing but good things to say about this place so we were excited to try it. I noticed that if you buy massages in bulk, you can get a pretty good discount. Tip: Pay in cash to extend your money lol I had to reschedule last minute from a 3pm to a 5pm appointment and Li's Massage was very helpful in making that happen. Mine and my husband's massages were technically for an hour, but I think we were just shy of hitting that time frame. My massage therapist was male, and he worked my back pretty hard (in a good way). I especially liked the hot stones! It surprised me, but it felt really nice. My only small complaint was that his hands were pretty rough, and you could feel it... the overall experience was great! I think at the end, that's when my impression fell a bit. We thanked the shop owners and our massage therapists... and we handed over a tip for the both of us. Then, the manager (owner?) asked if our massages were "excellent" and if yes, to please tip accordingly. Then, she pulled out the suggested tipping flyer from below her desk to show us that excellent massages should be tipped $20-25 each. I felt as if it was no longer suggested.... If the suggested tipping flyer had remained on the table, and NOT pulled out just because my tip was "unsatisfactory", and just a conversation was had, then I would be fine. But, i walked away feeling pretty pressured... I think there are better ways that the manager/owner could have handled this. It's important to remember that not everyone can tip a heavy amount, customers tip what they can!! I think I can look past this incident - because the service itself was good. I went back to Li's massage about a week ago for a massage. The massage was good until Anna had me turn over onto my stomach and then proceed to scratch my back with her nails. The first time I did not mention it but the second time she really dug her nail's in as one can see from the photo I took this morning. The scab is still there. I didn't enjoy my experience. The one who responds to reviews is rude. The place is cold, and they take 10 mi.s off your time to prepare even when an appointment is made ahead of time. You can hear the other employees talking load to each other or customers. They do not ask any questions regarding health, problem areas, or pressure desired. Had 3 appointments for 90 minute deep tissue massages. We arrived early and they got us right in. Offered single rooms or together, very accommodating. Sometimes deep tissue isn't deep enough for me. They definitely are. Fingers and elbows digging straight into my soul. My masseuse put all of his weight into my knots and I left feeling extremely relaxed. My brother and his boyfriend had deep tissue couple's massages and their satisfaction was just as high as mine. We will definitely be going back. Side note: they are very busy, they have a lot of rooms, and I could hear the bell from the door, peoples phones going off, and conversations in the hall. As soon as I walked in the nice lady at the front desk greeted me with a big friendly smile. She walked me straight into a quiet lightly lit room with relaxing music and calming piano music. Before long, a nice sweet man walked in with a basket of water that was the perfect soothing temperature to soak my tired feet. He gave me a little blanket so I could be cozy, lay back, and let the water heal. My masseuse walks back in with a salt scrub, concentrating on my heels and massaging every sore tendon and muscle on my feet. He massaged for a full 30 mins. Next I had a 90 minute full body massage. One of the best massages I've ever had. He knew where muscles attach to bones and used the perfect pressure. I was also very comfortable. He left the donor slightly cracked and made sure to cover me every time he changed areas. Very professional and excellent technique! I left fully relaxed. This place is amazing! I will not go anywhere else for a massage. Please tip your technician well! Working with your hands all day is hard work and they do an incredible job here. I also thought it was cool they had bars in the ceilings for walking on your back. We had the 60min foot massage (no you don't have to take your clothes off (who sang that line - you know you did!) - I mean unless you want to make it awkward and yes you can be in the same room with your friends/family/whatever - just try not to make it too weird, it is a nice establishment).
