Lisa is a legend! She was able to provide a virtual 1:1 training session with me and my pup, Wes. She was so patient and knowledgeable throughout the entire session. I adopted my pup from a shelter, and he has a lot of small issues to work on. He needs basic training, plus he's also a bit leash aggressive, and barrier reactive. Lisa was able to help him learn to fetch toys (before he would just leave them), and she assisted in teaching Wes how to shake hands/paws. On top of this, Lisa answered a million of my questions from how to train/motivate my new pup to what type of food is best for him. I hesitated writing this review out of selfishness- if everyone else books her she won't have time for me. My pup is 9 months now and we have been doing day training with Lisa on a semi regular basis since he was 3 months old. So when I first got him, I was told he was found in the streets with possible siblings (that he ended up not being fostered with) at estimated 3 weeks old, which showed. From the start he has been reactive, especially reactive on leash or whenever he feels confined, resource guarding and he didn't even like being touched, especially picked up. We were actually kicked out of a group puppy class cause at 15 weeks old, I was told he was "too aggressive." Lisa has been a godsend. I definitely bit off more than I can chew, this puppy has been a HANDFUL. She has taught him all the basics and me as well! My puppy now no longer resource guards, and while he is still reactive on a leash, Lisa has been amazing in working with us. She has so much knowledge that she happily shares with me. He still needs a ton of work but I'm super grateful to have met Lisa cause honestly he would be such a bad dog right now without her help. I especially love that she teaches with only positive reinforcement, so any behavior modifications really actually come from the dog. She's really taught him how to be a calm, as focused as a 9 month old could be, obedient puppy. Strangers tell me all the time that he is so well behaved for his age and they have no idea how much work it's been on all our parts. There is so much potential with my puppy to be had and I know I can't do any of this without Lisa's expertise. I can't say enough good things about her. My puppy LOVES her, he gets excited when he hears her voice if I'm watching her videos (he used to look for her in my apt if he heard her voice), he perks up when I say her name and he vibrates from excitement when he sees her. So I know he is in great hands and he is just pumped to spend the day with her (& I get to work uninterrupted for a full day ). Lisa was one of a fee trainers who did zoom puppy training. And she really helped with her online puppy videos and zoom mtgs.
