I had told them that I just had x-rays from my previous dentist and did not need them (since I do not currently have dental insurance, cost is important to me) but they did not listen and gave me x-rays anyways. One of the fillings did not feel right and felt infected. I went back not once, not twice, but three times. On the third visit, they redid the filling. I had zero relief. They referred me to an endodontist. It turned out I had a raging infection, and I needed an emergency root canal. Then, I needed the crown placed. Adrienne used all of her force to place the crown on my tooth. In my head, I thought this can't be normal. Due to the level of force, a large chunk of cement was stuck between my teeth. Adrienne "flossed" it out and told me to keep flossing until it came out. After the horrible experience, I found a new dentist (who, by the way, complimented my teeth on the first visit!). In the meantime, LeClair was difficult when it came to sending my records. The crown tooth was still bothering me. It took over A YEAR of visits for the dental hygienist at the new practice to work out the cement. If she hadn't gotten it out, I would have needed a new root canal. They have to redo one of Adrienne's fillings, and the current dentist said, "You don't need a dental degree to see that this was not filled properly." Looking at some of the other reviews, I am not alone in my sentiments. Go to Martins Dental in Beverly or Northern Star Dental in Danvers. Both are excellent practices.

Many RED flags about this office. The first is signing a WAIVER, so they are not at fault if…read moresomething goes terribly wrong. They ignore any documented outside infections that may involve the gums or teeth. Altered imaging, which is highly illegal! I have imaging from other recent dentists that prove otherwise and documented as UNDETERMINED to investigate by a proper qualified specialist such as a root tip infection which there was not. They are likely to push a root canal and crown done by their specialists. I also noticed that during a cleaning that tiny parts of tooth were missing in between filings as they were there before they started. I have proof. This is likely to start a future infection such as a treament like a root canal or fillling. They use a vibrating tool that's more like an ingraving machine you would use to etch writing on a metal tool like a wrench. The pieces I picked up off my tongue were clear and not yellow or white which would indicate tarter build up and noticed pieces missing between my filling on one tooth, which was always there for years, noticing it with my tounge and it was sharp too. DO NOT USE THIS TOOL FOR CLEANING! It likely damages the enemal and creates cavities! Yes, it's effective to remove tartar build-up but can do much more damage than a pick and rotary toothbrush. This is often witnessed by others who have treatment with this tool. Avoid it in other places, too. If they can't answer you, then walk away and note it in a review. To sum up, this practice has offered me root canals for unesesary work were the teeth dont hurt, there is no visible infection on the gums teeth or even recent or current history when in comparison. You get a different dentist every time and have no idea what the last practitioner did. They likely deform good teeth for profit! There is much more I did not mention here when compared to other dental practices that were current and I've had over the years, so please use your own caution judgments and inform yourself everything about a practice before making clear judgments. I have also noticed a reduction in patents in the waiting area and ease of getting a much sooner appointment within a days, not weeks or months time which is an indicator of a mass of clients leaving to go elsewhere since about 2021 or so. They are not all honest, so choose your dentist carefully.

They were expensive but capable, and all communication and billing was provided in a timely way. Dr. Wu sold the practice in about 2020 to private equity and I can no longer recommend them. The next dentist Christian Sveltlana left and not sure who is in charge now. In October 2025 we were sent a bill for $2,998 completely out of the blue for work done more than two years ago back in 2023! Never mind that we paid them more than $8,000 OUT OF POCKET for dental services that year. The reasons they gave for the late billing is a change of personal and finally getting to a deep dive into various billing and payments between insurance and them. This was two insurance companies ago and we can't easily go back and advocate for ourselves when we no longer have that insurance and it's 26+ months later. We are now retired in New Hampshire and under the care of a wonderful highly trained dentist and his practice. Avoid this practice. They dropped off the cliff. They are dysfunctional and you will pay a premium for their ineptitude.
