Out of all of the place that i went to for kanelbullar...this was probably the best!!
This has the cute diner coffee shop feel and i love it. Feeel super homey
The menu and price is on the wall and its self served. Kanelbullar was like 25 and coffee is about the same. I opted for a Swedish soda pop.
It was probably the softest bun of them all and its a bit more sweet than the others that i had. The cinnamon sugar is more evident so i guess its the most similar to what im used to in the states. But there is this homemade taste to it too.
The service is pretty straightforward but youre not forgotten. The guy that was there greeted me and asked what i wanted. I said i would do coffee and kanelbullar and when he saw that i got the soda, he chatted me up a bit and told me a bit more of the soda. He didnt have to but he did and that was nice. When i went to pay, he asked how was the food and thanked me for coming.
It is one of the few places that only takes cash so be ready!
If youre in town, this might be a bit out of the way, further from the city center but its definitely worth the trip. The neighborhood is quaint and a bit more local. read more
