Such a disappointment, I agree with Kathy D. I too was somewhat tricked by the 1 5 star yelp review. I am always sort of hesitant to buy Groupons for services like these because I feel like maybe you aren't getting the best possible treatment (whether it be a hair cut, lashes, wax...etc). I purchased the Groupon and called immediately as I had been waiting to get lashes for FOREVER!!! The woman was super nice when I made the appointment and asked me to come in a few minutes early to fill out some paperwork. I showed up and the place is like a salon with a few private rooms for lash extensions. I filled out the paperwork and was quickly escorted to a back room by a eyelash tech. She never asked me what kind of lashes I wanted, or how long I wanted them or anything -- I know now those should have been asked. I was totally new at this, so I didn't know what to expect (shame on me for not researching!). I laid down on a waxing bed for almost two hours, stiff paper under my eyes, closed with tweezers poking around (kind of nerve wracking!). After about the hour and a half mark, I got incredibly uncomfortable. I think that goes for anyplace you go....two hours is a long time to lay still on a table. Anylashes, she did ok....pricked me only a few times (which is amazing, do you see how small those tweezers are!??). When it was done, my lashes looked good, but they didn't look real. They totally looked fake - really long and too many lashes. She gave me some tips to keep them up, which would have been nice if the lashes held up like she said they would. My lashes constantly got tangled, pricked my eyes, sometimes when I closed my eyes, they would tangle and I would have to get in front of a mirror to untangle. I called about a week after dealing with this to see if this was normal, they said no and to come and they would fix. The woman who fixed them was really nice and did a great job fixing them, however, they were still incredibly long and just to much! I really wanted these to work, but after my second fill and my eye lids now starting to swell from all the constant untangling and brushing, I went to another lash place and had them taken off. I never got any complements on my lashes either, if anything sometimes I got funny looks like "who is this girl kidding with those lashes!". I dunno what to tell you, there were lots of people getting lashes done the times I was there, but maybe they were Groupon-ers too?! After getting my lashes fixed twice, I just couldn't pony up the $65 (every 3 weeks) for a mediocre fill any longer....part of me thinks I might have had a better experience had I been asked what kind of lashes I wanted in the beginning.... read more

What a mistake. I definitely got tricked by the 1 yelp review and the claim to service on the website. DO NOT GO HERE!! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I should've known when I saw this place on Groupon and there was an opening on the same day. I went for a full set eyelash extension (I've had them about a year back). I thought to myself, "How bad could this realllllly get? One place couldn't be that much worse than another right???" Oh, how definitely wrong! Please DO NOT pay full price to go here. Don't go here at all in general. Upon completion I could tell there was a lot of glue straggling as a lot of my upper lashes were glued to my bottom ones when I tried to open my eyes. She spent a significant part of my session just trying to cut my top lashes from my bottom to get my eyes open. I was worried that I had gone to one of those places that would make you blind from the glue application!!! The worst part of all however, are my lashes. My lashes are in all sorts of directions, some are curled up, some are pointing down, some are just curly. They are not in the natural lash growing path. I can tell the grow-out process is going to be horrible. Time to find a new salon to fix this horrible job. Highly disappointed. read more

I got a set of lash extensions here from Lisa's tech, I believe it was her sister in law. She did a great job, took her time to make sure my lashes looked great. I had quite a few lashes that were poking my eyes because they were glued in my tight line. I had to pull those out because it was very uncomfortable. But even after pulling those out, my lashes still looked great. read more

I have been here maybe 5 times and have been HIGHLY impressed with the wonderful job they do! The service takes a long time and can I start to get anxious after the first hour, but it is SO worth the wait. They are detailed with their work, patient, and careful to make sure every individual lash is perfect. The last time I had my eyelashes done here was the first week of February. That set lasted me all the way to the end of April! I traveled to the Middle East, worked out, say in a sauna, and my lashes still looked amazing. So I just got out of my appointment from Lisa's and I'm in love with their work! This is only my second time getting extensions. The first time I hated having them on that I started picking them off my lashes and it ruined my natural lashes. That was a year ago and I decided to give it a try. Lisa's is a no bullshit establishment which I love. No wine offerings, fancy towels, soothing music, etc. You go there to get service and they give it to you without smoke and mirrors. Getting appointments is so easy. I called and got an appointment on the same day. Some lash places have 2 week wait AND...they count the each lash they put on you. At Lisa's they they put enough to get your desired look. I have stubborn asian eyelashes. They're sparse and straight and they did an awesome set on me. I'm def going back there. And the price is unbeatable! I looked around and others charge $250 for your first full set. That's insane! Lisa charged me only $98. I had an emergency eyelash situation while I was visiting Dallas, Texas last month. I found Lisa's Lashes on-line and called them immediately and they scheduled me for the next morning. Tori (my eyelash fairy as I now call her) text me confirming our appointment - which I appreciate as I hate to answer calls from people I dont know. I got there about 5 minutes late due to Dallas traffic but they never made me feel bad about it and got me right in. I was referred to Lisa by a mutual friend. I had never had eyelash extensions so she did the natural look on me. Lisa did my eyelashes herself, not one of her techs. She explained they would be a little longer than my own eyelashes & a little thicker so that I wouldn't have to wear mascara. This was fine with me because I wanted them to look natural. I personally didn't want someone to look at me & instantly know that I had eyelash extensions. Lisa did amazing on my eyelashes!!! They were gorgeous! I will not go to anyone else. She gave me a list of instructions & it was clear cut. All I had to do was replace my eyeliner & mascara (I only wear mascara on my bottom lashes) because what I had been using was not oil-free. Not a big deal. It took an hour to get them put on when I had nothing but my real eyelashes (no extensions). I highly recommend Lisa. read more

Jenny is the best! I first tried this place with a Groupon and was not dissapointed. The staff was very friendly and Jenny made the long 2 hour application as comfortable as could be for me. Once all done, I looked great! My husband loved them too and now makes sure I go every time I need a refill. She did ask how long and everything and made them look really natural. I don't wear make-up so natural looking was great for me. Loved it. Customer for good. read more
