I've been getting my brows threaded since I was an actual child (thanks, thick hair genes) and this place has gotit down! The vibe inside is really cute-- loving the wall decor and overall style. Clean inside and the staff were really friendly/quick to welcome me in. The gal that did my brows was SO quick and precise-- you can tell she's a pro! She had me in and out in less than 10 minutes, which is fantastic. My very first experience was amazing getting an eye brow wax with rajani. Now fast forward 3 weeks later I have driven to the Ross location twice both times at least 45 mins before the location is supposed to be closed. ( I don't get off work until 5 )Each time time location closed early. The second time i even called the location before , verified their hours and explained what had happened the night before. She assured me they closed at 7. Fast forward it's 6:25. I drive back to the store after work thinking I'm getting a brow wax. And guess door locked . I saw someone in there so I knocked on her door. The lady stated they were closed. I asked her about the closing hours stating 7 . She advised me they were closing today at 6 I told her I called she again so closing at 6. That's it i trully thought I had found my brow spot , but this place makes their own hours and are very unprofessional. I would have been a repeat customer but not I'm still searching. My first time coming to this place. I opted for an eyebrow thread and some individual (cluster) lashes. The lady who threaded my eyebrows def whipped through it. She didn't give much of a look to my shape and jumped right in. I did have a couple, literally 2 hairs, that I had to pluck when I got home. But for $10 (with tip) I'm not going to complain. Silvia did my lashes and did a GREAT job! I hope these babies last for 2+ weeks, so we shall find that out soon. She was amicable and listened to the style of lashes I wanted. This is my horror story. I came in looking to get some eyelash extensions because I am going to a formal Christmas party in about a week. I found someone who came up and started explaining their eyelash extensions last about 2 weeks and all that stuff. I tell her I have never had my lashes messed with so why not do a little trial and see if I like it. I explained my lashes are long naturally so I really just need volume. I have long, but few lashes. For some reason she decided I needed length and volume and she's the professional so I trusted her. I happen upon the girl who would be doing my lashes (no one introduced me and she did not introduce herself.) I have no idea what her name was because I don't think she even actually looked at me. She tells me to take a seat and lean back. I'm quick to let her know this is my first time doing this. What I WISH her response would have been was to say she'll walk me through the process as she goes. Tell me what she's doing to my eyes. But what happens? She doesn't respond at all. Complete silence. So then she just kind of starts...she has to get very close to my face to see what she's doing which I didn't mind, but she was CHEWING GUM with her MOUTH OPEN in my face. Just smack, smack, smack right in my face. Then I hear a rumble in her gut/chest and she belches.. which I understand you can't help cause it just comes up sometimes but at least turn your face to blow it out your mouth...she used my mouth as a resting place for her hand....she showed me my lashes after the first eye (no words she just handed me a mirror) and I thought they were pretty! But I was also under the impression she was going to trim those suckers cause maaaan they looked fake. Then she moves to the next eye. As she's putting in my lashes some are falling and getting stuck to the lower lashes. So how does she solve that problem? She PLUCKS OUT MY LOWER LASH! 3 times I felt her pluck out my lower lash. Does she think I can't feel that?! But I try to tell myself it's just a few. If she does it again I'll say something...(I'm not one to confront people) she shows me my lashes and again I am under the impression she'll trim them so I say I like it. Even though I did feel there were a few too many...I get home and my eye wont stop watering. The rest of the night my eye is watering. It gets raw from dabbing away the tears. I wake up this morning and my eye is very red and a little swollen. I look closer at the lashes and it's just a big clump of glue under there. I honestly wanted to cry. I tried to trim them myself but I worried I'd trim my own natural lashes and it was irritating my eyes so bad I decided I would just take them out. I was excited to find a threading place near my work that was not one of the chains. I am not sure but I believe this is a small business so I wanted to support them. I walked in without an appointment for eyebrows and it was only a couple minute wait. They did not have a sign in process like the other threading places I went to but the techs seemed to remember who came in what order so it was fine. They offered an eye brow makeover for $25 I believe which included threading, shaping and tint. At the end of my eyebrows they kind of disappear because they are so blond and when the woman asked if I was interested in tinting I thought about it. My last time I allowed a salon like this to tint my brows they left it on way too long and my eyebrows were nearly black. The woman scrubbed and scrubbed to try to get the dye off but it was already stuck. I had to buy a color lifting kit at the store to get the color off my brows. After this horror I was really scared but the woman assured me she knew what she was doing and would use a light brown color. I knew something went wrong when the tech here started scrubbing at my eyebrows. She kept trying to act like it was part of the process but she was rubbing my face raw and finally I asked to look at it. Once again my brows were WAYYY too dark even though I warned her about this happening before. After she continued to scrub for five minutes I asked her to stop and walked to the front. I assumed I would not have to pay for this over color but I was incorrect. Not only did I have to pay when they messed up my brow color but their credit card machine was not taking Chase cards so i had to cash app the owner my payment. I gave two stars because the place is decently clean and the shape of my brows were nice but stay away from the tinting unless you have brown/dark hair. read more

Let's start from the moment I walked in, it was clear by the way I was greeted that they had no customer service skills. I got my eyebrows destroyed by some old lady and I say some old lady because she didn't even bother to introduce herself or ask what I wanted. Not only did was she digging at my eyebrows like she was looking for oil, even after I told her she was being rough but she left big cuts (that will scab). Also my eyebrows don't match AT ALL and she made one super thin, which pisses me off even more since I've been letting them grow so I can have thicker brows. I guess I'm gonna have to use concealer to cover the scabs for my birthday pictures. The icing on the cake ... I have to let the swelling go down so I can clean them up myself because my eyebrows WERE NOT EVEN CLEANED UP!!!!!! I didn't see that it was only $8 for the threading, would I have seen that, it would've been a major red flag. No wonder it's so cheap! Never again will I go back to that hood place. Their soft glue lasts only 3 days and the hard glue rips off your real lashes. Eyebrow threading here is inconsistent. Sometimes she does a really good job, a couple times I felt they looked a bit uneven but not bad, but this last time I went for threading she left stray hairs on both brows that I had to point out to her and then she took it a step further and took off too much. I've only received the eyebrow threading and will only get it done by the younger looking girl because the other lady is very rough and always does them uneven or too thin. They're open pretty late and take walk ins. They are so personable for one but their work is amazing. These are flare lashes by the way. $25. At least that is what I go in for. Not piece by piece. It's hard to find temp flare lash places in DFW. If you have little to no eyelashes though and are looking for glam, this is what you need. They gets my ass in and out in under 30mins! It's only $5 to remove old lashes or a bad job I've gotten work done closer to home in garland and had to drive to Dallas galleria to have the ladies take the lashes off for me and give me some new work. I love getting my eyebrows done here by the girl with shoulder length hair! She's fast and she makes them look so defined. They are always friendly when I walk in and I rarely have to wait more than 5 mins. The last time I went the girl I usually go with was not there so I went with the older lady. I've had her before and she's just always too painful and rough. It was the worst! She kept breathing on my face and she was very rough. And at the end she didn't even ask if I wanted Aloe Vera (I usually don't because it stings) and she just put it on. Went there for a facial. I'm not sure they are licensed and maybe just added facials to their menu. The room was like an insane asylum with white walls and bright lights. Hardly relaxing. It was basically a 35 minute face wash. It was supposed to be a 60 minute facial. I've had lots of facials before and I will NEVER go back here. I can wash my own face.
