The best thing I've eaten in Columbia so far is one of these cupcakes. They are dangerously good. I'm already a big cupcake fan, and these are everything I want: menu changes daily, a soft and moist cupcake with icing that pops with flavor, fair price (even a rewards program), and pretty to look at. I got the key lime pie and it was a great balance of sweet and tart. My blood sugar could even go a tiny bit less sweet. Apparently the red velvet is really popular. I usually prefer my cream cheese on a bagel, but with cupcakes this good, I might give it a try. read more

As someone who isn't really a cake/cupcake person bumpy was this a sweet treat that I wasn't expecting. Kinda wish I never discovered this bakery... i've been here 4 times in the past week despite embarking on a new fitness journey. The location is not ideal since it is located in a very busy plaza, but there seems to be adequate parking on all days I've been. I had the pleasure of meeting Malik, who was super friendly and informative. The cupcakes in the display were extremely beautiful, tasted even better. These are not your average cupcakes; they are much bigger than the store bought cupcakes and pack a BUNCH of flavor. Needless to say.... i will be returning until I taste all of the flavors offered. side note: i've had the banana pudding cupcake and cake slice, blue velvet, red velvet (like 5 cupcakes), cookies and cream, strawberry crunch, strawberry with the strawberry frosting, red velvet cheesecake, key lime, and sweet potato. I am beyond livid. I ordered a custom cake for my partners 55th Birthday party... I asked for a specific cake and was told they could make it "no problem". The cake was supposed to look like a roll of toilet paper with a sign on top of it that reads "Crap you're old David" Along with a dozen cupcakes that were supposed to be dark chocolate and look like poop emojis.... What I got is not what I asked for. I even provided a picture AND had sent a text message to the girl behind the counter so they would have it as a reference in making the cake. I was charged $109 for this... REALLY??? The manager came out and told me, (I am in the one who ordered the cake) that my wife??? said she didn't want any decorations on the cake or cupcakes, and if we had chose to decorate them, it would cost more. First off, I have a HUSBAND, not a wife... My mother was with me when I ordered the cake, but she never said a word to anyone, I ordered her a cupcake and she went and sat down and ate it while I was ordering the cake... so that's a bold faced lie. Secondly, why would anyone custom order a cake to look specifically like something and then NOT WANT it decorated? That's ridiculous! I had the pleasure of trying out this place for a yelp event recently. Upon entrance, I was taken in by the shops aesthetic as it was comforting and not over-the-top like some dessert shops can get. I was able to try out a couple of their cupcakes but it was difficult narrowing it down. They offered a wide array of flavors that were also not too over-the-top. I ended up trying the red velvet and absolutely loved it. The cupcake was perfectly baked with a steady level of moistness. The icing was just the perfect amount so it seems like they have their recipe down to a tee. The two ladies working were also very patient and helpful with the decision making process. Wow! These were some awesome cupcakes! I would absolutely return in a heartbeat. I grabbed a half dozen when visiting some customers and there were all beautiful! The location is a bit daunting - the mall is hard to navigate and has seen better days and their little cupcake stand is very unassuming, but the staff was friendly and willing to make recommendations. I personally tried the strawberry shortcake and it was DELICIOUS. I'd have dreams about that cupcake. Keep in mind that they do not have every flavor every day, but they have a decent mix of chocolate/fruit/etc in their daily mix. They also have yesterday's cupcakes that you can buy for a discount. I would definitely return again - their cupcakes are fabulous and I can't wait to try more! read more

I visited the Killian Road location today. Despite the line, the service was very fast. The staff was also friendly and hospitable. I am picky with cupcakes and am often completely underwhelmed by bakery cupcakes. In fact, a cupcake bakery once tried to sue me for leaving a bad review on Yelp! But anyway... The flavor here was outstanding, but the cake but pretty crumbly, meaning that I had to eat it with a fork. Perhaps I just got a crumbly one, but I'd recommend baking for another few minutes so they're firmer, and can be eaten utensil-free. If you're planning to eat this in your car on your way back from lunch, you may end up frustrated. If you plan to eat with a fork at the table, you will be very, very pleased. BUT... the cake and frosting were delicious and tasted like they were made with real ingredients rather than with a vat of Crisco. I'm Impressed. Coffee and music would make this spot the perfect place to visit for mid-day pick-me-up or for an after-dinner treat. I look forward to visiting again. Thanks for opening a location in the Northeast. It'll be nice to be able to support local businesses without having to travel too far. read more
