The first time I visited the truck, I was greeted by a friendly young man who clearly believed in what he was serving. I left with banana pudding, an Oreo cheesecake, and a turtle cheesecake -- and honestly, "sinful" is the right word. The cake itself is fluffy, rich, and packed with flavor, and the cheesecake? Truly some of the best I've ever had. The young man confidently told me it would be, and he wasn't exaggerating. My second visit to the food truck was just as pleasant. This time, a warm and welcoming young lady was running things. I arrived around 5 p.m., only to find that most items were already sold out -- a testament to how popular these desserts have become. Luckily, I managed to grab a blue velvet cheesecake, and it did not disappoint. Smooth, decadent, and perfectly balanced, it was worth the trip even with the limited selection. Wanting to experience more, I visited the brick-and-mortar location in Columbia off Two Notch Road this past Saturday. The desserts were just as delicious -- the quality and flavor remain consistent no matter the location. However, the customer service didn't match the charm of the food truck experience. While the cakes are still absolutely worth indulging in, the food truck brings something extra -- better hospitality, more personality, and a community feel that makes the experience sweeter. With prices being the same at both locations, I'll gladly return to the Orangeburg truck... just earlier next time, when the selection is still full. read more

Mesha's red velvet cake is the best red velvet cake I've had in years. But her customer service ain't worth a dam. She gets nice after you pay for your food. I've been there several times now. They never greet u upon entering. No smiles or anything. She just Thanks you for coming, after u pay & you're otw out the door. Very poor customer service. Imma have to check out Lita's. I called ahead close to closing time, and they were kind enough to stay open an extra 10 minutes so I could swing by--really appreciated the friendly service. The shop was clean and inviting, and I picked up a slice of their red velvet cake, which was soft, moist, and had just the right amount of sweetness. I love Mesha's! I stop by every chance I get to get the red velvet cupcakes or slice of cake. The cake is super moist and literally melts in your mouth. The cream cheese icing is rich and creamy. You can really taste the cream cheese which is a must for a perfect red velvet! I've tried many of the desserts and haven't been disappointed yet. I've been seeing the reviews for Mesha's Sinful Cakes and More and was finally able to stop by today. The desserts look absolutely amazing! They have flavors I haven't seen in any bakery before. I was hoping to try the key lime cheesecake, but as I was in line, they informed us they were completely sold out of all cheesecake. They did have cupcakes and carrot cake left. I tried the cupcakes and they were very good. Sweet but not overly sweet. I would definitely order these again. I tried the carrot cake (I'm not a fan of carrot cake). This carrot cake was better than 80% of the other carrot cakes I've tried. I arrived at 1:00 and they sold out just after I arrived. I'll make sure to arrive when they open next time to try more goodies. read more

If your cupcakes for pickup a 1:00pm and you show up at 12:55pm they will make you-wait those 5 minutes and be rude about it. I ordered a Blue velvet and Red velvet cake and a Pralines and Pecans cheesecake....all were very nice sizes and upon arriving home we all began trying each one out. The velvet cakes were just the taste I wanted and although it was said that the blue velvet had its own taste it was too close to tell. The cheesecake though was very delicious...I must say that being from NY I am very biased and picky when it comes to cheesecake, but this was the first one I've had in years that reminded of home. I will be back!! Maybe even buy a whole cheesecake...very soon! I went in the staff greeted me as I looked through the cases to decide which ones I wanted to try. I decided on the red velvet cheesecake. I ate my first cupcake leaving the shop driving back to work because I went during my lunch break (because they are open 12pm to 5pm and I couldn't wait until the weekend to try the cupcakes) and a crumb dropped in my shirt, I almost recked my car trying to get it so I could eat it!!!
