Wonderful bakery that offers up delicious sweet treats. Great event space too for dinners.

The reviews are a bit mixed here, but what I got was unambiguously good. There was a short wait, but not more than I needed to peruse the selection. A carmelized onion sourdough loaf was an easy choice, and was as mouthwatering as it sounds. I heated up bits of it with various spreads for a while. Picking a dessert was tougher, but I was recommended a cup with dark, milk, and white chocolate. Someone else at the register asked me what it was called, which I had no idea, but it turns out it was just the "triple chocolate". There was some sort of wafer embedded amongst the creaminess. I wanted to savor it, but I don't think it lasted a minute as it was so delicious. The shop was small inside but did have some outdoor seating. Many other creations looked worth trying, including bagels.

So if I could give this 10 stars......I would! My wife and I have gone from once before. We got sour dough bread, and some pastries. Sadly I didn't take any pics HOWEVER I've been following their Instagram page and I'm signed up for the text messages. I've been eyeing their raspberry and passion fruit croissant since I saw it in their story. To my surprise my wife picked one up and it was waiting for me when I got home. When I say it was worth every penny she paid. it truly was amazing. The raspberry and passion fruit filling was in every bite. I'm basing my ambiance experience based off the first time I went. It's a small cute bakery. Some outdoor seating is available to sit and enjoy your food. They have a variety of items to eat. And it's a woman owned business!

My partner was on the hunt for scones and since we were in the neighborhood we chose to stop here. My favorite part of this establishment is their seating outside. It is heavily shaded, but very breezy. Perfect for a hot day.Sadly they were out of scones so my partner went with a few other options. The biscuit was decent, I'd say a 6 out of 10, the spanakopita was good but I'm not sure if that was freshly made. I'd give those a 7 out of 10. The coffee cream filled eclair is a total miss. Neither of us cared for it. The mango cherry tart was very very nice! I could taste amaretto which complimented the fruit very well! This would be perfect for a picnic or brunch! 9 out of 10! Customer service was cool..

Been such a huge fan for awhile and they are my top bakery in Columbia! Not only is everything sourdough which is amazing since not only am I a fan, but it is a dietary restriction of mine where I can only have sourdough bread and this bakery has been a game changer. They have delicious breakfast sandwiches on their sourdough bagels and such lovely baked treats that I gawk over every time I walk in. The service is always fast and everyone is so kind. I love coming in to pick up food because I always leave with such delicious treats that I can't stop myself from getting because they are THAT GOOD!

I love finding a local bakery that you can enjoy your Saturday morning at. What a find with Sour and Salt. In the Rosewood neighborhood, you definitely need to check this out. We enjoyed the kickin' chicken salad so much, we had to take some home. Also, the wild mushroom soup was out of this world. I started my day with a cheddar and chive bagel and vanilla oat milk cold brew. We also brought home some other baked goods because I just couldn't say no!

The most phenomenal breakfast sandwich I think I've ever had in Columbia. I got the sun-dried tomato bagel with bacon and it's so good and not Greasy.

The apple muffin was delicious, but I was disappointed that the crust was burnt on my chicken salad sandwich.

We made the stop after taking a tour of the state capitol - which we also highly recommend! The place is huge with ample seating inside and out. And the setting? It couldn't be better! Especially for anyone who likes airports, airplanes, old buildings, trains, or just unique locations. The food... we ordered the Garlic Knots, Mediterranean Pizza, and a Pepperoni Pizza, and were not disappointed. The Garlic Knots - freshly made, good quality dough. We almost went back and ordered a second order of 'em. The pizzas? We loved them! My son said the bottom could've been a little bit crisper, but otherwise, the quality of the ingredients was good, and both tasted great. The Brews... we enjoyed two flights, not bad overall. Our favorite one out of the bunch was the ESB. It's their Red Ale, and it was a good one! The raspberry sour was also a pretty good drink. The other brews, not bad, but also not the best we've had. Overall, a great place to stop when visiting the city, and it's a great place for friends, families, old and young. I would gladly stop in again if I'm ever in the area.

We enjoyed some great beers and there is something for all types of beer preferences as well. They also have some wines available if you are not a beer person. The garlic knots were delicious with a honey garlic butter that elevated what I dreamed of. The pizza was delicious and not overwhelmed with sauce which I enjoyed. Service was friendly and quick! We will definitely come back next time we are in town.

Interesting that the food is ordered from the bar and you have to pick it up at the "food truck" in the beer garden. Just be aware. The beer garden is well organized and a great space. Plenty of tables and space to enjoy your evening. More activities and spaces to enjoy here. Definitely a place that will succeed. The staff was very professional, welcoming and warm. I also like…read moresharing my experience with others with food allergies to help them know if it's a good option. For someone who cannot eat wheat, there were not many safe options. Even the BBQ sauce contained wheat. I was still able to have a few things, but overall, the options were limited. The band was very loud at first, but they did turn it down slightly, which helped a lot. We originally went expecting an afterparty connected to an event I participated in earlier that morning. I've been to afterparties before, and they are usually in a clearly designated, blocked-off area for participants and sometimes families. When we arrived, there were actually three different events happening, which is great--but it made things confusing. Parking was also difficult, and there were no accessible parking spots available at the time since all three were taken. The venue itself has a main restaurant, outdoor seating, a food ordering area, and a separate bar. There was a sign pointing toward another building connected to the restaurant that mentioned the morning event I attended, so we followed it. However, something didn't feel right. When I asked staff for clarification, they weren't sure whether the area was for runners/participants or only for company staff. About 20 minutes later, we learned it was actually only for staff. The signage was very misleading, and I wasn't the only one confused. Even the front staff seemed unsure of what was going on, which made things more frustrating. The event coordinator wasn't available, so it felt like communication was lacking across the board. In the end, we still got our food and drinks and had a good time, but it was a confusing experience overall. I do feel for the staff who were put in a difficult position without clear information. Clearer signage would have helped a lot--for example, specifying the company name and clearly stating whether the area was for employees only or open to participants from the event that morning. Better communication in the event emails would also have made expectations much clearer about what was open to the public versus staff only from the start. Overall, it is still a nice place to hang out and enjoy food and live music, but the event setup and communication definitely need more clarity.
