We had my child's birthday party at Little Amerricka and it couldn't have been easier or more fun! Darryl was super helpful with planning and made everything simple--really all we had to do was show up and enjoy. The party package is a great deal and includes food, cake, drinks, rides, and nonstop fun. The staff and ride operators were welcoming, kind, and made sure everything ran smoothly. The kids (and adults!) loved the Meteorite and the bumper boats--especially spraying the family with water! On top of that, there are so many classic carnival rides, a haunted house, mini golf, and plenty of spins, screams, and laughs to keep everyone entertained all day. Once I pulled in the parking lot, I was stunned on how vintage this place appeared to be. The parking was free, so that was an instant plus to me. The park might not have looked large, but my curiosity arose just looking at it. They had different options to choose from for an Unlimited Ride Pass. I bought the Blue Pass and so did my significant other. It was $21.95. At the counter, I was able to get a free brochure. That made for a nice souvenir! The first ride of the day for us was Little Dipper. This was a small ride and we had to sit separately on it. It went around the track twice. I'd say this ride was better for children, but it was still enjoyable in a weird way. We rode the Ferris Wheel. We sat together on this one and it was pretty revealing. It went around fast. I was surprised by that. I didn't care for this ride. Whiskey River Railway was a must for me. It was a 30 Minute Ride. There was a schedule posted on when the train was due to leave. We left at 2:20. We sat together on this and there was plenty of seating available. We passed a lot of different scenery. This ride seemed to take awhile to finish. It was a relaxing break from the other rides. The Meteor was a wooden ride. We sat next to each other on this one. The speed was fairly fast and it took us three laps around the track. It was a mild ride in my opinion. I enjoyed it, but I felt that one lap would have been just as efficient as three. The Haunted House was a bust for me. This was a self-guided attraction that had us in a dark setting from start to finish. There weren't any actors inside. A lot of figures lit up as we went through the attraction. If you get the chance to do this one, be advised that there were tight spaces. It was worth doing just to say that I did it. The Monorail gave a better view of this place than any other ride in my opinion. We sat next to each other on this one. It didn't move too fast. Just like Whiskey River Railway, this was a break from other rides. I liked it! We decided to try out Test Pilot. I'm glad I chose to do this one last, because I came out feeling nauseous. We sat together on this, which didn't seem to be ethical, because it threw me around a bit. First, we went on the ride the normal way, which was frontwards. After the ride was complete, the ride attendant asked us if we wanted to ride backwards. I didn't want to miss out on an experience, so I said yes. The backwards ride definitely finished me off. I came off this ride feeling horrible! I did not like this ride at all in either version! The Mens Room near Whiskey River Railway was a private restroom. It was clean! The entire park was surprisingly clean! The staff that I encountered throughout my visit were kind and helpful. I didn't have any issues with the service I was given. Overall, this was a budget-friendly place to experience. We got here about half an hour after they opened. On the last day of all the rides being opened, and still it wasn't that busy/full in the lot the whole day until we left. I'll start off with my only issues: Bathrooms were not well maintained, food wasn't very good. Typical fair food. Bit expensive, so we ate ahead of time. But there are a bunch of redeeming qualities: They do let you bring in your own food/drink. So don't worry. And there are also tons of covered seating to eat/relax in the shade. The rides were pretty fun as an adult. The kids loved their rides, my inlaws loved the kids section. The rides felt maintained, the couple that felt rickety the kids remembered. So we didn't go on those. And the staff were extremely friendly. The guys running the bumper boats were very chatty, great with the kids and explaining things. And they also handled getting accidentally sprayed by a kid before the ride started. It was a running joke, and as the adult going on the rides with my niece and nephew, I enjoyed having an adult to converse with. From start to finish it was a great day of nostalgia with the train. And the boats and bumper cars. I will add the haunted house isn't very great for anyone who has issues with tight small spaces. The availability to bring your own food, the seating everywhere and the friendly staff/fun rides. This place is a great stop for a family get together. FK this place Their staff have zero patience for kids, at least the 0ld fk on the Scrambler ride. My son was there yesterday (06/15/2024) with his mom and after the worker there explained how to open the door to the ride, my son still couldn't get it open to hop on. Instead of going to help him, he asked him "are you fkn st00pid?!" That old fk is LUCKY my son was with his mom and not me because I would have gladly went to jail that day. The Yelper who called Little Amerricka a "carnival that never leaves" said it perfectly. The whole place has a sort of small town feel to it. Parking is free but there isn't really a lot of it and beware as it can get muddy after a good rain storm. There are are couple of things that make Little Amerricka very unique. One is that there are 126 wooden roller coasters in North America. You'll find one of them, The Meteor, here at Little Amerricka. The other thing is the only permanent Toboggan roller coaster installation in the world. Yes. When Lakemont Park in Pennsylvania temporarily closed, that left the Wild & Wooley as the last of its kind. Did I go on it? Heck no! But my daughter did and she really enjoyed it. There really isn't anything like it. However, I did go on The Meteor a couple times and that's definitely a fun little ride. One of the cool things about this place is that on many of the rides you end up going a couple extra laps. This can be very good (The Meteor) and very bad (Tilt A Whirl). There's a snack stand with tons of reasonably priced food and drinks. Mostly high school kids running everything and they've always been friendly and working hard. It does get busy in there so look at your watch if you're wanting lunch! Definitely check out the website and especially Groupon for deals on wristbands. This place was the biggest waste of money. We were waiting in two separate lines for over 15 minutes which is expected, however, two rides in a row, the "corpses" that they have running the rides just walked off and went on a "break". So over 1 hour time we got on one ride. There is no signage explaining anything, terribly unorganized front admission area where wristbands were being put on the wrong families. Place is a disgrace and wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy. Sorry just stating a fact. Looks like it went out of business 10 years ago, and so does the staff. read more

Don't expect Great America. This is a small, possibly family owned theme park with some dated carnival style rides and one amazing, fully restored, vintage wooden roller coaster as a centerpiece. A beautiful train ride travels around and beyond the park for a great 30 ride past nature, a lake, and even zebras. Everything is in excellent condition with crisp fresh paint. Clean restrooms. As a tourist, I found this place adorable. The prices were great. If you have kids taller than 42 inches it seems worth it to invest in the blue or yellow wristbands ($18 and $22, respectively) because the rides that allow these wristbands looked fun and had small lines because most people get the green bands because this park offers a lot for kids age 8 and younger. The Ferris wheel is amazing. I loved it and it was my son's favorite ride. The roller coaster is fun, as is the tilt a whirl. I would recommend this park to anyone looking for a few hours of entertainment for their kids. The line is really long at noon on Saturday so either show up at 11 to be first in line or come at 2pm when the line is gone. Parking is unmanned and haphazard in a field. No employees are present to guide you so be prepared to back up and maneuver around crazy park jobs. As my Wisconsin friend said "this is redneck parking and you better redneckignize." It was a fun 2 hours at the park and lines moved quickly. People seemed to like the food -- standard American food and ice cream as well. Arcade is small and takes quarters. Most games are .50. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We came up from Milwaukee thinking it would be a good place for our 7 and 2 year old to both have fun. The first ride we tried to get on (the merry go round), we waited and waited and when it was finally our turn, the lady running it went on break. Always fun to explain to a toddler. On the kiddie boat ride, the girl shut down the entire ride because the toy steering wheel fell off ONE of the boats. Cue screaming toddler again. Every ride we went on, the staff was surprisingly rude. On one of the kiddie rides, my toddler freaked out. I asked the operator to stop, and he told me "he's fine, they do this all the time". Seriously man, he's my kid, and he's been screaming for 2 minutes since the ride started. Go Karts...got stranded on for 30 minutes because one car broke down. My 7 year old started to freak like we weren't ever going to get off. Plus side...the rides are REALLY long. But that also means the lines build up fast and then the staff mysteriously disappears when its time to start the ride. Overall...its cheap for a reason. Yeah, you can bring your own food and drinks (thank goodness because the concession line was about 25 deep at 1pm), and its quaint. But for what you get, save your money and go to the Dells or Great America. At least you won't get treated like crap there. read more

What a fun little place to spend a few hours! We brought our daughter here for the first time because she loves rides but being on the Autism Spectrum she sometimes has trouble with waiting. We figured the lines wouldn't be to bad here and we were right. She loved all the rides she went on and the staff for the most part was very welcoming and accommodating! (we had one staff member ask us what was wrong with our daughter because she was covering her ears... that person needs to learn to ask questions in a different manner). You can bring in your own food and beverages (I doubt alcohol) which is really nice, especially for us having a picky eater for a daughter. There are plenty of places to sit and have a meal with lots of garbage cans in the area. We left a little earlier than we wanted to but over all would definitely come back here again. A few tips: 1.) Get here when they open and go on the rides you want to right away or get on the train right away. It got pretty busy (not terrible by any means) and the most popular attractions got busy. 2.) Get the wrist bands, even if you don't think you need them. We ended up spending about the same in tickets as we would have in wrist bands for one adult and one child. Had we stayed longer we would have went over. 3.) If you do get tickets, know that some attractions take more than one ticket where most of the rides take just one ticket. We had a wonderful experience here recently. The rides were very clean and well kept and the operators were all very kind. A few of them were quite playful with kids and that was extra fun for everyone. We were there on a Wednesday and it was not so busy that lines were ever long. Many of the ride times were long but if you raised your hand they would stop the ride for you, and they took you around the largest roller coaster 3 times which was cool. Kids love it. It's fun for both my 5 year old and my 13 year old. There's only one ride that is concerning, as it seems to snap the kids necks and heads back. They rode it once and never again. Many other people were complaining about the same thing. A lot of older people work in the park and they tend to be rude. There were at least 3 that I can remember specially being rude to kids and people. Not even just me or my kids, but others as well. That's why I gave 4 stars instead of 5. Seriously, I'm a fan. But, it's not because this place is amazing for me or my husband. But, looking at this place through my two year old son's eyes, it was one of the coolest places he has ever been. It was cheap for all three of us to enjoy, about $30 for all three of us. We rode the Tilt A Whirl enough times to pay for the enjoyment. Hearing my child laugh uncontrollably while riding was worth it, plus, my husband and I were giggling like little kids the whole time too. The selection of rides for my little was awesome. He was so excited to ride each one. There is a tiny coaster called The Little Dipper and while it was helluva uncomfortable for me but, my son LOVED it. The train which is actually run by volunteers for The Whiskey River Railway. We enjoyed chatting with the "engineer" that day and he gave my son an old nail used on the track there as a souvenir, super cool. We enjoyed the two mile train ride very much! The staff reminded us of the movie Adventureland and the "gift shop" was pretty much a soda fountain. They had like four shirts and nothing in toddler size. read more

This is a great place to spend the afternoon if you're in the Milwaukee or Madison area. Prices are reasonable, especially when compared to larger amusement parks. There are usually no lines for any of the rides. The train ride is a must. It is much better than it seems, and takes you through a large farm which houses llamas, emus, zebras, swans and sheep. The only complaints I have are that some rides seem unsafe and that some staff members aren't the most friendly people. One ride (I can't recall the name but you can't miss it. Right by the entrance) actually goes off the track around turns, causing the whole thing to shake violently. Most of the staff are friendly, although some of the operators are mean to the children. This is a unique find for anyone living in or passing through southern Wisconsin, well worthy of at least one visit. read more

I can't express enough how awesome this park is for families! No charge for parking, No general admission charge and you can bring in your own food! The rides are vintage rides from parks such as Riverside, Old Chicago, KiddieLand (don't quote me, just stating examples). The staff was so friendly and one could tell they loved their jobs! We went with our almost 2 year old and our 3 month old. Daddy didn't ride and watched the baby, no charge for either. You pay for the height of your kids, so my son only cost $10.95 minus a $2 coupon for being under 36 inches. AND as a parent you are entitled to buy the same pass as your child if you wanted to (some of those rides required an adult to ride with). I bought the "Gold pass" (only 21.95-$2 coupon) so I could experience the Meteor roller coaster, the Mad Mouse, the Swiss Toboggan, etc. Another plus: We barely had to wait in any lines! I love this place! I first went here when I was young, from about 4 to age 10. My favorite is the train you can ride around the park and through a farm. They have lots of animals, zebras and all sorts of things! To a kid it is quite magical. Also the rides are nice, especially the coasters. They are smaller but still fun for adults. I recently went back here at age 23 and it was practically unchanged! Everything was there and a few new things! It's like a mini six flags, great for kids or a cute date idea. As a railfan, I've known about Little Amerricka for more than a decade thanks to its famous Whiskey River Railway fame but never have been here. With a recent 2-4-1 on-line offer, my wife and I finally arrived Wednesday and couldn't be happier. Spotless, friendly and very inviting, Little Amerricka offers something for everyone from tots to seniors and at an affordable price. There are 26 rides and attractions with free admission and parking. You can even bring your own food using the Park as a backup. Friendly staff advise and help you take advantage of the best experience. Little Amerricka offers what it calls "walk-in pricing." You can purchase individual tickets or four colored wristbands that allow you unlimited rides based on age and interest. The four wristbands, Pink, Green, Blue and the all-access Gold are priced from $10.95 to $21.95. The real deal is of course the Gold, and we used it to our advantage riding the Whiskey River Railway's 2 1/2 mile unique journey twice along with the Monorail, Tilt-A-World, Ferris Wheel and a very challenging railroad themed Miniature Golf course. Got to try that one again. For you railfans, the Whiskey River Railway runs diesel power during the week. However on Weekends Steam Engines, some of the most spectacular around take to the tracks powering the trains on its unique and very rare 16 inch gauge line. Just 65 miles and as many minutes from Milwaukee's Marquette Interchange and 21 miles and 30 minutes from Madison's State Capitol make Little Amerricka a perfect Day Trip. This is a great place for kids of all ages. Yes, the rides are geared for younger kids but they are fun at any age. I was able to buy one of those deals online where I got Gold wristbands for a really cheap price so we headed to Little Amerricka to check it out. Driving up on it, it looks like something from the past. It's like you just stepped back in time to a simpler time where prices are cheap and fun doesn't cost a fortune. They have rides, miniature golf, go karts, train ride (my absolute favorite), roller coasters, and more. Food prices are very cheap as well so you can bring your own food and drink in or buy theirs. If you go, make sure you take the train ride at least once. You will be amazed at how big the property is and all the surprises you will see while on it. It takes you back to a farm area where there are zebra, horses, llamas, swans, cows and more. It was so neat, i took the ride two time in a row until it closed. What. A. Nightmare. We went this fall for the pumpkin train ride. None of the attractions were working, everything was shut down except the roller coaster that my kids were too little to ride on. The pumpkin "patch" was a field with a bunch of rotten pumpkins thrown in it. The employees were rude and there was zero organization. They yelled at everyone trying to get off and on the train, instead of putting up a rope or trying to create some sort of line. The safety concerns were abundant. We left there wondering "what the hell just happened?" It was awful and I'm sorry to the unlucky families that had to enter that "patch" after our group, there was literally nothing left! Pay the money to go somewhere that actually functions, not this dump. read more
