I consider myself an Alfredo snob. I make it at home and have practiced perfecting it for years and it's wonderful. I would never never ever buy Alfredo from a jar! I've ate Italian food all around the United States from New York to Chicago and this Alfredo is my favorite! The pesto tortellini is outstanding! Its actually the only thing I've ever ordered. It's so rich and creamy with peas, mushrooms and sun dried tomatoes. If I had to give constructive feedback it would to add more mushrooms, peas and sun dried tomatoes as it's just a hint. Portions are good and you should take 1/2 to go , hard to do! Their salad is also good as it's very zingy and zesty! I wish the garlic knots or rolls had 50% more garlic on them. Their portions are quite large as my husband and I we always split even our appetizer, best appetizer I've ever had at a restaurant is there crabcakes? They are a must so delicious. We really enjoyed our dining experience here. We got there at 6:45 on a Friday night and got right in. The place was crowded but they do a good job of quickly turning over tables. We quickly got our drinks ordered. I got the house Chianti which was a big pour and a good tasting wine for $6. I ordered the lasagna and my wife ordered the eggplant parmesan. The lasagna was delicious. It came out baked with a good red sauce, tasty cheese, and right amount of noodles. Deceptive amount of lasagna in the bowl. My wife said the eggplant was delicious. We like to support local business. Went in and was not busy. Had appetizer and salad. Tables around us got food and left. 2 tables after us got food and were ordering desserts. We ask and were told it was due to lots of to go orders?????? If that were true why all the orders coming out before ours??? Very poor service with no apology just a lame excuse. Also a good idea for a new location (I imagine the downtown menu is same? though). Service was good, waiter probably checked up on us a bit too much. We were seated quickly, water/salad/entree brought on time. Buttered buns a little too greasy but seasoned well. Salad was a little heavy on dressing. Lasagna was good portion and taste. Chicken masala w mushrooms and noodles was good with excellent proportion of ingredients. The house merlot and Chianti were nice - not harsh or sweet. Prices are fairly close to Biaggi's but the overall experience is not yet as good. I like having another dining option close by. We had a $43 bill w/o appetizer. Average portion size. I have ordered here several times now, three takeouts and today we ate in. The food has consistently been delicious and the service exceptional. My experience with this restaurant has always been exceptional, I'm not sure why they have the lower star but in my opinion it's a 5 star!! My favorite is the shrimp alredo and the rolls!! Went last night and the service was very very sub-par. We came in around 6:30 and they closed at 8 because it was Sunday. The server, Kaitlyn made us feel very rushed but that not what even bothered me honestly. We both ordered Alfredo so it comes with a salad. We asked to have it with ranch, she brings it out with their house dressing. Also not a big deal, I ask again if we can get it with ranch. She kinda makes it seem like we're putting her out but whatever. I start eating this salad and I notice after a few bites this long blonde hair in my salad. I have thick curly black hair, definitely wasn't mine. She comes up we tell her about it. She looked at me like she didn't believe me, didn't even look at the hair I was pointing at on my plate. And instead of say sorry or can I make this right she says "well it must've been an accident". Well no shit, I'd hope it was an accident. This type of stuff happens all the time in restaurants, it's how you deal with it that matters and I don't think it was dealt with properly. Now that being said I'm not saying don't go to Little Angelo's because their food is great. I'd just watch for what server you get. She also messed up the food for the people who came in after us and they were complaining about it. We also asked about if the cheesecake was baked and she never gave us an answer. We asked in the beginning of the bread was something we could get more of and she didn't ask once if we wanted more. We actually tried to ask a few times but she was in such a rush that we never got a chance. And it wasn't even busy there was 3 tables there total. Excellent service, below average food. I had Lasagna, which consisted of a bout 1TBSP of bland meat, canned tomato sauce and overcooked noodles. No taste really. Wife's Fettuccini just tasted weird. I couldn't have had more than one bite if I had ordered that. Almost felt like the dishes were all frozen portions microwaved. Salad was lettuce, tomatoes, black olives and tasteless oil/vinegar. Garlic knots were the best part but nothing special and really heavy on the garlic. Waitress was very upbeat and always checked on us. Decoration is very nice and if only they could get the food to match the atmosphere. Me and another guest were pretty sure there was a couple "celebrating" Valentine's Day in the Men's room as it was occupied for a LONG time. Overall it's not worth it. I have NEVER paid 15.00 for a meal and left hungry! I had chicken Marsala; the chicken breast had been pounded down to less than 1/4 inch thick and cut in small pieces. I had 4 pieces on my plate that measured about 2 x 4 inches and a scoop, literally a scoop of spaghetti! The mushrooms and sauce were fabulous. Another person at our table ordered spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were the ones you would buy at Sam's, Costco or GNC. Took a family of five, three kids and two adults to Little Angelo's this evening, and it went very well. The food was top notch, maybe the best Baked Ziti I've had. Wife loved the Carbonara. The kids both got fettuccine alfredo and loved it. Very generous portions on the adult & kids plates. They serve the salad family style, and a basket of garlic rolls. Only not giving a five star due to the fact that we didn't get plates to eat the salad with, and had to re-use our appetizer plates. We got the fried provolone (cheese sticks) and they were very good. I would say that it is a bit pricey but not any more than any other Italian restaurant i've been to around here. Perfect place for a birthday or special occasion. I recommend it highly. Having a nice Italian restaurant in Newburgh is a nice change from the mass of pizza and Mexican restaurants that we have. read more

I love Angelo's in downtown Evansville so I was really excited to see a new location closer to home. I was a little worried that it wouldn't be the same though, and unfortunately my worries were confirmed when I ate here this evening. First came the garlic knots which I always enjoy. They were good but not quite as good as the Evansville ones. I ordered what I always get: chicken alfredo. My favorite part is the chicken because it's breaded and so tender. It really makes the dish! What I got tonight was not nearly as good. The sauce was great and tasted the same for the most part, but the chicken was incredibly disappointing. It wasn't breaded, it was grilled and very boring. I'm sad to say that I was not satisfied with the Newburgh location. Now I know that it's definitely worth the drive downtown for the real Angelo's. read more

The food is decent and the service is fine. My only complaint is the temperature of restaurant. It felt like it was 65° in the dinning room. We told the waitress and her response was they have to keep it cold to cut down on the humidity in the restaurant and if they don't keep it that cold, the floor gets slippery. I ordered online via Yelp, their menu neglects to let you know the dinner entrees come with a salad. So I ordered a side salad and spent the extra money for no reason. I let them know when I went to pick up my food and saw all the salads - they said sorry but since I paid online they couldn't fix it...sure they could have - a coupon for an appetizer, free dessert etc would have been just fine... When we got home the salads where old lettuce as the iceberg lettuce was orange - very disappointment. I suspected they may not be aware of my online order and called a few minutes after I placed my order and sure enough it caught them by surprise. To their defense they are new to Yelp so they will most likely get used to keeping an eye out for online orders. But I would call to make sure they saw the order for the time being.
