Amazing place to eat, me and the daughter found this place on our way home from Holiday World. I bit off the beaten path for ur us but well worth it. She got the Philly Cheese steak sandwich simply amazing. I got the pizza and cheese bread also amazing. I definitely recommend this place!!

Good crust, good taste. This is a small pizza shop with only three tables, so don't get your hopes up for a gourmet restaurant. But for what this is, we found the people, service, and food to be excellent. We ordered one of their best selling pizzas - the Guardian - and at $20 one of the most expensive. Like other Yelp reviewers, we thought the crust was light, crisp, and relatively thin with a good blend of meat and vegetables. While three of us can normally finish a large pizza easily, we actually had some leftover because the crust is a little thicker than thin crust pizzas in our area. The employees seemed to enjoy each other's company. We were asked if we wanted the television station changed, or the volume turned up or down. We were offered plates and a leftover box at the appropriate times. The pizza came quickly, without a greasy look or taste. My wife gave Gardo's a 4-star rating due to its small size, but I decided not to hold its size against it. A nice local alternate to large chain pizza.

We went to Lobo Lounge about 1:15 on a Thursday afternoon. The place had a couple people in there, but we were greeted as soon as we entered which is a HUGE in my book. I enjoyed the Loaded BBQ Chicken nachos and the BBQ sauce was sweet and mildly spicy. It was delicious. They were actually out of their normal tortilla chips but found a way to improvise as I showed my disappointment. I thought that was really nice and most any other restaurant I've gone to would not even consider this. So I was really impressed with their service. My friend got the pizza with pineapple, ham and brown sugar and it was excellent. She let me sample it. The crust was great, a thin style but crispy chewy... really good. Someone said they allow smoking on their review but that is no longer true. The staff was extremely friendly and went out of their way to make us comfortable and satisfied (as I mentioned early about the chips). The chef that made our food was personable and funny, he even let me sample his own sandwich he had just came up with for himself - it was delicious! Our server was so friendly and prompt, I wish I could remember her name. The prices were a nice surprise and so we will be going back very soon to try a lot of the other great sounding food they offer. They have a parking area across the street in addition to street parking. There is also an outdoor dining area that would be great for the evening or if the weather hadn't been so hot. The only thing negative I can say is the place is a little small but not really intimate because their juke box is a little too loud to have a quiet conversation at least I thought it was too loud for lunch. We were still able to talk, but I felt I had to talk louder than normal and ask her to repeat herself more than I should've. Overall, I highly recommend this little hidden gem.

Unfortunately, the experience started off slow -- it took about 15 minutes before we were greeted or able to order drinks. Once we did meet our server, she was very friendly and clearly hustling. It seemed like she had a lot on her plate, and she handled it with a great attitude. Portion sizes were still generous (as expected), but overall the food just didn't quite live up to what I remembered. One standout, though, was the new Calabrian Steak & Shrimp Bucatini -- surprisingly delicious with great flavor. My mom ordered the shrimp Alfredo and wasn't impressed with the shrimp, though she did say the bucatini noodles themselves were cooked really well. The kids were perfectly happy with their mac & cheese and pizza -- and the kids' meal prices are actually a great value considering they still include soup or salad. In the end, it wasn't a bad meal, but it didn't quite capture the Olive Garden experience I remembered from years ago. Generous portions and a hardworking server helped, but overall it just felt a little underwhelming.
