Our son has been attending Little Aprendiz for 6 months now and we are very happy and pleased with our choice. Ms. Roman and Ms. Leo are truly amazing. We are so grateful to have found Little Aprendiz. High lights of the program: Ms Roman is well versed in child development and age appropriate curriculum and lessons. As a teacher myself I love that she is always taking education courses and sharing her expertise. Though I believe it's a play based program (which I wanted) she teaches science, math, reading, exercise, and many more subjects. We love the app the program uses because of the daily communication sharing of what the children are learning and how it applies to social and emotional development, cognition, fine and gross motor and etc. Meals and snacks are included and they even turn meal time into learning by helping the children pour their own milk/water and take turns sharing. We do not speak Spanish but wanted our son to have the opportunity to grow up bilingual. He started at one year old and now at almost 3 he speaks Spanish and English at home! It's incredible to listen to him go between languages. This program doesn't teach your child Spanish because as Ms Roman explained to me she's not teaching children language she's communicsring in the language and children learn to communicate in the language that is being spoken! Finally and most importantly, Ms Roman and Ms Leo are so loving and kind to my son and all the children. They are both so warm and kind and I can tell based on how my son behaves and what he shares that he loves being at school and in their care. read more

Our little guy has been attending Little Aprendiz for almost a year now and we couldn't be more thrilled with our experience. From day 1, Miss Roman and Miss Leo covered him in love and attended to all of his needs--whether it was laying next to him during nap time so he wasn't afraid in his new environment or allowing him to be on their lap or in their arms when he needed that extra sense of security-- they do it all! Our son understands Spanish and English now and is saying words in both languages, which is incredible, and comes home with new skills, manners, self-sufficiency, and ALWAYS with a smile on his face. Each day is a new adventure, which we get to see through daily photos and descriptions of what activities they have planned. Miss Roman and Miss Leo truly LOVE these children and love what they do each day and I wouldn't want my little ones anywhere else. We are so grateful we found Little Aprendiz, as it has exceeded our expectations of what a daycare could be! Ms Roman & Ms Leo do so much more than teach the children Spanish, they truly care deeply about each child as individuals and developing their emotional health. Ms Roman has taken extensive training on behavioral health to help children learn to express their emotions, cope with negative ones and understand the needs of their peer group. My daughter had a tough time adjusting to being away from us (she first started daycare at 2yrs old and had never had a previous caregiver outside of me + her dad); Little Aprendiz went above and beyond helping her with the transition, and keeping me updated on her progress every day. They are always available to message with, and give supportive feedback for how to tackle any toddler struggles with a positive, impactful and loving approach. We get daily updates on activities of the day, meals, potty schedule, nap and photos through their school app. It is really nice that they provide meals (breakfast, lunch & snack!) too, as I don't have to worry about packing anything on busy mornings. We've been really impressed with how much Spanish our daughter has picked up, and also just feel so at ease with her under the care of Ms Roman & Ms Leo, we know she gets so much love and support from them. Coming from a dual language household, we wanted to continue our son's language use in a Spanish immersion program. He gets to continue his speech and language development while getting much more at Little Aprendiz. They run many well-researched learning programs, and we particularly appreciate the variability and structure. We love the consistency, feedback, and safety provided by Leo and Roman. Little Aprendiz is a wonderful Spanish-English bilingual daycare in Huntington Beach. Ms. Roman, Ms. Leo, and Ms. Elika are fantastic with my child. We are so grateful we found Little Aprendiz!! Our son is now 19mo and started when he was 1 and has learned so much with them already. We specifically wanted a Spanish immersion school and couldn't imagine sending him anywhere else. This doesn't feel like just a home daycare, there is structure and wonderful lessons and baby yoga etc but all play based. Ms Roman and Ms Leo are like family to us now. Our son literally runs to them at drop off! Their app is fantastic with photos and detailed updates throughout the day. They are extremely responsive, provide nutritious meals (our son eats way more with them than he does at home), and take such good care of him. After several months of eagerly being on the waiting list for Huntington Beach's #1 in-home daycare, we were SO grateful to get the news that a spot opened and we were IN! This daycare offers everything we were looking for: Spanish immersion; experienced and communicative care givers; and a wonderful environment conducive to positive child development. In the short 4 months that our son has been at Little Aprendiz so far, we've seen his development far exceed our expectations. For starters, after Day 1 at Little Aprendiz, our 1-year-old son immediately stopped using a pacifier and started using a sippy cup - which surprised us because we were previously unsuccessful ourselves at helping our baby do those two things. Since then, we've continued to be impressed with Adryana and Leo's skills. As first time parents, we find we consult with them often for advice on how we can support our son's development. They are educated, experienced, and helpful. Adryana is 100% communicative to us as parents via the app, email, and in person. She is a trustworthy daycare provider and is in tune with our son's needs, health, and development. We are currently expecting our second baby and I should probably put him on the waiting list already! This is one of those places that - if you're lucky enough to get in - you stay there because it's a diamond in the rough. read more

Ms. Roman has been our daughter's teacher at her preschool and she has been amazing! During her time with Ms. Roman, not only did our daughter (now 4.5) learn social and developmentally appropriate interactions and interpersonal skills, but she has grown academically beyond our expectations. I am so thankful to have found Ms. Adryana and her mom Ms. Leo and we were fortunate enough to get a spot in the class! Prior to class, we had our then 2.5 year old daughter with a nanny who we adored. We were so worried about how she would transition to a class with other kids and to new caretakers, but we wanted her to learn Spanish and to interact and play and learn with other children. Ms Adryana put our minds at ease the minute we met her! You can tell she really loves what she does and is focused on making sure the children are engaged and are playing well together. She was been patient with our daughter and with us. Our daughter loved going to school and did not have any issues with the Spanish immersion as they do a good job easing kids into the language. This review is long over due. Adryana and her mother Leo are AMAZING!! Unfortunately we had to end our time with Little Aprendiz and it was heart breaking. During our daughters time in their care they had become a second family. Our daughter Marley asked for Adryana frequently and would always enjoy her days spent in their care. My husband and I toured daycare after daycare before deciding this was the perfect fit, best decision ever. My daughter attended Little Aprendiz since she was 1 year old. We have relocated because we have moved, and it has been the toughest decision to make. It by far has been the best choice I made for my daughter and for myself as parent. There is just no pricetag or enough Thank You's to repay them. They made a first time mom comfortable to return to work, knowing my daughter was in such caring hands. I never expected my girl to be so comfortable with Leo. She absolutely loves her, and Leo has been that touch of love away from home and for that I am eternally grateful. They have nurtured and cared for my daughter like one of their own, and have incredibly impacted her learning and socialization. Adryana, is so great at communication with parents, and has such incredible chemistry with kids not just my own. They do an amazing job at creating a nurturing and learning environment for everyone. Every single day all the kids would welcome my daughter so happily. Can't say enough of what a positive impact Ms. Roman left with my daughter as her first teacher that introduced and exposed her to the Spanish language! Only 3 years old at the time, she quickly picked up her numbers and a few of the basics to our surprise when she came home from school. Adryana and Leonor are fantastic! Adryana was my son's teacher and Leonor was my daughter's nanny for a year when my daughter was an infant. There are endless positive things about I can say about the program and the people that run it, but I would advise scheduling a visit and experiencing the magic for yourselves. Leonor was our nanny from the time our baby was 6 weeks old up until he was eighteen months old. You cannot find a more loving, patient, dependable, and kind person to watch your little one. We never had to worry about his safety, as Leo always gives her undivided attention to your child and he comes home each day without as much as a scratch on him despite being a rowdy and playful boy. She also got him to be great eater and always made sure he had healthy meals and snacks all day. Because of Leo, our son is bilingual and communicates in both Spanish and English daily. Leonor's daughter Adryana is equally as loving and attentive as Leo. Anyone would be lucky to have their child in this preschool, and they could be sure that their child is getting the best care and nurturing out there. Leo truly loves babies as if they were her own! This school is amazing! Let me start by saying my wife and I had started looking for affordable child care for just a couple of days a week just to give ourselves a couple of days to try and get some stuff done, while also helping to socialize our son (only child). We checked out a few in-home care facilities in the area and were horrified by the conditions and would never even think about leaving our son in their care. Especially for what they were charging! My wife took to a mom's group on FB to get some recommendations for affordable child care in the area, and this school was on the list. We weren't necessarily looking for a Spanish immersion school, but thought that that it would actually be something great for our son to learn. We scheduled a tour and immediately liked that the gate out front looked locked and had a camera posted on it. Safety, CHECK! We were then greeted at the door with the director of the program, who instantly made the place feel warm, inviting and full of positive energy. The program is run by herself and her mother, who does not speak english, but is just as warm and inviting as her daughter, and has extesive experience as a nanny. After speaking with her, learning of her experience and backgroud, we were like, sign us up! We couldn't be happier with the care our son receives here. We receive daily updates with photos, and sometimes videos, of their daily activities and what they are learning that day. The kids get plenty of outdoor time and structured activities. They provide a morning snack, lunch and an afternoon snack. Our son is developing much better social skills and learning to share with others. Piece of mind that your leaving your child somewhere safe, and that they are receiving proper care is obviously top priority. Look no further, Lil Aprendiz checks all the boxes! read more
