I will warn others to please ask all the questions and research thoroughly before deciding this. I really would have hoped the staff should have clearly told me the cost involved. I had purposely kept the sealant appointment at a future date in order to check with my insurance. But when we came for another appointment, we were told they could do the sealant and most insurances would cover this as this comes under preventive care. This wasn't the case though and I feel mislead by the staff. I feel I was intentionally misled to get the sealants done. I had specifically raised the concern with the staff just before the sealant was applied that i am afraid insurance will not cover this, but i was assured that this was preventive and should cover it. However when i go to the front desk, I hear a totally different tune that insurance usually does not cover this. I definitely think this is a scam to rip off $ from patients.

Dr Jenny Kim is amazing and Jen the hygienist was incredible with my son. They explained everything to him and made it fun to have your teeth checked. Dr Jenny offered great advice and how my son's treatment for the next visit would go. He was able to pick a prize out of the prize basket for doing so well! It was all over an amazing experience. So, I will pay this as I don't want the hassle of medical debt, but I want people to know they should not trust the estimates they give. Expect to be surprised.

Regardless if I did get the X-rays, a lot will change in 7 months and I'm sure they'd say I'd have to get more X-rays then.

I have had many dental procedures plus 2 implants, so I know what to expect. After a good interaction while going over the procedure, Dr Martel applied topical numbing and then injected Novocain. It hurt the usual amount, & I handled it by quietly crooning. She told me to "Stop that" and breathe. I then used my other pain coping mechanism - huffing, much like Lamaze breathing. She told me again to stop or I'd hyperventilate. At this point I interrupted her to say that this is how I handle pain & I've never hyperventilated. She informed me that I was making HER uncomfortable. I replied that I was the one getting the shot & I was worried more about my own comfort. This time she commented that it "doesn't have to go like this." There was no way I would let her drill my tooth with an attitude like that. Dr Martel had no compassion from the very first step, & I could not trust her if things went bad once my nerves were exposed. She was completely unsympathetic to my physical or mental comfort, plus outright rude in her handling of the situation. And they charged me $55 for her services! Insult to injury!

That's a six month wait for a mouth guard, meanwhile my tmj is killing me. They've also given me like two different reasons why august, one is that they are remodeling, so the offices are closed, the other is that the lady who does them is having hand surgery in a month, so they are training someone else to be able to take her place when she is out for another month or so, both conveniently coming out to august. But if you are training someone to take her place when she is gone, then you are open no?

They call it "Bill Fee". We called this office about the bill and was told $220 consultation fee is always charged for new patients. The lady who answered the call was very rude. I refused to pay and the bill was sent to a collection agency. We finally paid over $400 after the annoying calls from the agency. Will never go back!
