Now living in Plymouth, MN, it was difficult to find a great one since they are more limited on the westside. I'm also very selective, but finally, found my favorite massage business. Summer was amazing and got all my stiffness and knots out after my first visit! I prefer the Asian massage, as they are more deep tissue (though you can ask Summer to adjust the pressure), which gets to the source of the pain. The next day, my shoulders and back were so much more relaxed. I even went back for a second massage treatment 2 weeks later and my stiffness was already significantly reduced, so I knew Summer's technique was helpful in my body healing. I even got 拔罐 (cupping) the second time combined with massage. Not all Asian owned massage also offer cupping, but Summer does! Benefits of cupping are to release the toxins from your body. I already feel better mentally and physically, and Summer is now my go-to massage person. When I have friends or family members in town, I will take them to see Summer for relaxation. I had some shoulder pain keeping me up at night so I needed to find a place for a massage and came across this place. It's a small business in a cute business center where the outside of the business center look like little houses. It's basic interior decor (not a fancy spa), but cute and clean. When you first enter, you will be required to pay before the massage. They prefer cash, but they do take credit card for slightly higher price to cover the cost of the credit card transaction. Prices are good and my massage therapist, Lily gave a great massage! When she first starts out, she massages for awhile with the sheet on your body, later she moves to using oil. She uses good sweeping motions with her forearms, great pressure with her hands and even was on the table a few times to apply the right amount of pressure. I prefer medium to firm pressure and I thought it was right on. I felt like she worked really hard to give me a good massage! My shoulder and my whole body feels so much better! There is a little bit of a language barrier, but she didn't seem to have a hard time understanding me...there was a few times I had to ask her to repeat herself during our conversation. That doesn't bother me as she was super sweet and professional. I even made another appointment for my daughter to get a massage, they are very accommodating with days/times. I gave a 5 star based on my level of massage I received, I feel like it was as good or better than some I have received in the past. I will be back again!
