My Wife and I are locals and dropped into this restaurant for a late lunch. We get so few times together to do these things that we were looking forward to enjoying a nice peaceful meal together. Unfortunately, that's not what happened. While awaiting our food, one of the employees started yelling politics at the TV which was located behind us. At first I ignored it, but then he returned and continued again, which at this point I politely asked him to stop. Which he grumbled and said the TV shouldn't be on that station anyway and walked to the Bar area. Then, he made a disparging comment about me loudly to another employee. At this point, I'd had enough of his juvenile behavior and called him out on his statement and added that we came for lunch and not his political ranting. At this point he shut up, wisely. As for the food, average. They charge a surcharge for using a credit card and also the prices charged did not match the published prices on the menu, to their benefit of course. That's dishonest. We won't be back and will advise our local friends as well. Pro tip: religion and politics are NOT appropriate employee conversions amongst the paying customers. read more

We were checked in rather quickly as the crowd started thinning out and they did have ample space indoors and out. Our servers were on the ball and super friendly. Stopped in looking for a quick late lunch. The parking lot was full and I took that as a good sign. I was quickly seated and the waitress took my order. 10 wings hot garlic, blue cheese dressing, carrots, celery and a side of onion rings. The wings were large and crispy. The hot garlic sauce was not what I was expecting, neither hot or garlicky. The blue cheese dressing was very close to ranch. It took me several tries to taste the blue cheese. Stopped in while visiting my wife's aunt and uncle. Really surprised to find prices so high for a college town (small college but still a college). This place is right across the street from Young Harris college. I just remember being in college and not having a ton of money to spend on food (beer was a priority). I can't remember the exact price of the wings however I do remember that five wings was $13-$15 dollars. Personally, I found this to be a bit high. Now to the good part... because I want more than five wings and did not want to pay over $15 for Moore, I went for the Philly cheesesteak. And I will say it was excellent. Very tasty!! This is a great find. They have the best Philly cheesesteaks I have ever eaten. They rival Cosmis's Deli and Genos in Philadelphia. Their curly fries with queso dipping sauce is absolutely wonderful. There was a good beer selection and the food menu had quite a bit to choose from. I got the boneless wings and hubby got the bone-in wings. I considered getting 10 boneless but settled on 5. Bringing orders out to people, making jokes--and always with a smile. He made sure to check on us and bring refills as needed. To me, the taste of the food is important but I won't go back to a place where the wait staff isn't good--no matter how good the food is. Plenty for three or four people. The Classic Hot Buffalo sauce was just the right heat. I ordered 10 wings. They were big, and I could only eat four. The fries were great. Shareable size. Service was spot on, and the beers were cold. The restaurant seemed to be doing well, with people coming in for take out. Dine in customers had plenty of room for social distancing.
