A half-pound hand-pattied burger with GOAT CHEESE, apple jelly, bacon and spinach. Bam! This burger kicks butt! And the GOAT CHEESE adds a sweet, delicious extra punch! WOW! Tried this place based on good reviews. We got there and it was so PACKED that they should have crowd control! Very popular! We were checked in rather quickly as the crowd started thinning out and they did have ample space indoors and out. Our servers were on the ball and super friendly. Stopped in looking for a quick late lunch. The parking lot was full and I took that as a good sign. I was quickly seated and the waitress took my order. 10 wings hot garlic, blue cheese dressing, carrots, celery and a side of onion rings. The wings were large and crispy. The hot garlic sauce was not what I was expecting, neither hot or garlicky. The blue cheese dressing was very close to ranch. It took me several tries to taste the blue cheese. Stopped in while visiting my wife's aunt and uncle. Really surprised to find prices so high for a college town (small college but still a college). This place is right across the street from Young Harris college. I just remember being in college and not having a ton of money to spend on food (beer was a priority). I can't remember the exact price of the wings however I do remember that five wings was $13-$15 dollars. Personally, I found this to be a bit high. Now to the good part... because I want more than five wings and did not want to pay over $15 for Moore, I went for the Philly cheesesteak. And I will say it was excellent. Very tasty!! The extra room that used to be blocked off is now open with more tables, and their new roofed-in patio outside is spacious and super inviting. This place took me back to my college dorm days, adorned with all the best artists of the 70's from Grateful Dead to David Bowie. This is a great find. They have the best Philly cheesesteaks I have ever eaten. They rival Cosmis's Deli and Genos in Philadelphia. Their curly fries with queso dipping sauce is absolutely wonderful. We spend our winters down here and have driven by a hundred (or more) times but never stopped. Decided before we head back up north to finally stop. Best decision ever! It's a great place with a fun atmosphere and now with the outdoor seating area--it's even more awesome. Such a perfect place in a college town! Our food was really good--very meaty wings with a side of rice under a drizzling of Yum-Yum sauce. (Never had that sauce before and it was great!) In addition to the great food was the service--our waiter's name is Brendan. So attentive and a wonderful, friendly personality. I watched him go from table to table and he never stopped moving! Bringing orders out to people, making jokes--and always with a smile. He made sure to check on us and bring refills as needed. To me, the taste of the food is important but I won't go back to a place where the wait staff isn't good--no matter how good the food is. Very nice wing place, especially for a small town. Wings were a good size and cooked well. Not overly breaded. Only "complaint" would be that their hottest tier of wings are not actually that hot. Plenty for three or four people. The Classic Hot Buffalo sauce was just the right heat. I ordered 10 wings. They were big, and I could only eat four. The fries were great. Shareable size. Service was spot on, and the beers were cold. The restaurant seemed to be doing well, with people coming in for take out. Dine in customers had plenty of room for social distancing.
