Stopped here for lunch as we wait to pick up our RV Trailer from Camp Oaks RV. Waitress was Johnny on the spot when we sat down. I had the Rooster Dog with Sauerkraut and Chili, comes with Fries. Chili was good, dog was good could use a smaller bun to put it on. Also the sauerkraut comes in a plastic serving container and it is cold. You have to take two bites to get all the ingredients to meld together. Smaller bun and it would all come together. My wife had the grilled chicken strip salad and enjoyed it was enough for two people. Nice place overall plenty of TV's for watching sporting events. read more

Roosters was a big disappointment I paid $32 plus tax plus a tip and I ordered two sandwiches one was the Swiss and mushroom burger and fries that was suitable it was good and it was plenty of portion then I ordered a patty melt and I received a sandwich with half a piece of Burger on these huge pieces of bread and the cheese melted on the bread not on the patty melt so basically I got a $5 Burger for $15 or whatever if you split the bill I'm attaching pictures very very bad experience and price gouging at its best. Roosters has been a thing for years in the area. They have great wings and great flavors. I will say, their wings run a bit smaller but they pack a punch. I don't know what they do to season their wings but they are above and beyond your typical "deep fried" wings like Buffalo Wild Wings if you catch me. Their dips (ranch and blue cheese) is made in house fresh and always SLAPS. I always ask for extra, then use more the next day. I have only dined in a few times when I lived there, but recently get togo when I happen to be in the area. I now live out of state, but go out of my way to get wings from here. Specially medium and Cajun mixed. I'd suggest adding a side of hot, because medium is not very spicy. More of a mild to me. The service is always wonderful. Rooster's Cafe has a chicken finger salad that a friend of mine ordered on Saturday. It came out with nothing but wilted iceberg lettuce. 90% of it looked like it came from the bottom of a head of lettuce-white, brown and gross looking. She took one bite and had to spit it out. The waitress told us the manager refused to take it off her bill. We asked to see the manager. She approached the table with an attitude and had the nerve to roll her eyes at my friend when she refused a replacement. That one bite grossed her out - who would want another one!? We had seen this place many times during our Home Depot runs. We should have left it at that. This was our first time. I'll give it another shot but if it isn't any better than this, we won't return. We waited quite a while for our order, in excess of 30 minutes, for no more busier they were. I ordered ice tea, it tasted like slightly sweetened water. What we ordered looked way more attractive on the plate than it actually tasted. We ordered the club with fries. It was so incredibly dry with cold wilted toast. No mayo, no offer for any from the waitress either. She just sat the plates down and left. She brought packets of mayo out after being asked. She said they don't put any mayo them. I asked why. She shrugged her shoulders and walked away. Well, you could have saved yourself some time and effort by being a little transparent. "We don't put mayo on the club but would you like some?" That would be considerate. I can't help from wondering what millennium the oil was changed in the fryer. I even asked the waitress if the fries always come out looking that way and she said yes. They didn't taste burned but crispy they were NOT. Wilted and soggy more defines it. You guys have a long way to go to be good. I think the only reason you're even on the map is because you have a regular bar crowd. Oh and another thing, watch out for the steep service fee they tack on without first advising you of this when you use your debit card. We could have paid cash had our waitress advised us. Simple BLT with fries. Old rotten bacon made up the soggy sandwich, and the fries taste terrible--could only eat one and couldn't eat half the sandwich once I hit the rotten flavor. Last time coming here. Recently moved to the area and trying out new local places. First time in was for dinner about 2 weeks ago was amazing. Great service-quick, food was great. Was so impressed that I came in for late lunch a week ago. I was sat quickly and then ended up walking out because no server ever came to my table. I was there at least 10 minutes. Thinking this was maybe a fluke, a friend of mine and I went in for dinner tonight. We were seated quickly. Our server was pretty slow and at one point after delivering our drinks said she'd be back "in a second" to take our orders. 5+ minutes later she came back. Food came out-and here's where it gets worse. I ordered a Rooster burger (1/2 pound), medium. What came to the table, a 4 oz mcdonalds-esque 1/4 pounder patty, well done. Certainly NOT a half pound burger as it should have been. I send it back telling my waitress that this is overcooked and not the right sized patty. 10 minutes later, my friend has finished his meal now, and the server brings the new burger out. This is STILL not a half pound burger. Grrrrrrrr.... And it's medium-well. The kitchen doesn't know how to even cook a hamburger properly (TWICE) and clearly don't know portion size. The server should have known better as to what an 8 versus 4oz burger looks like too and pushed back on the kitchen. Customers want to get what we pay for. EPIC FAIL. Won't be back. I should also note that the table next to me had to send food back to the kitchen as well. You'll be better off at Waffle House next door. read more

I've been to roosters 2 times now. Today I came on a Sunday around 3pm and it had a decent amount of people here. The service was great and friendly. We ordered our food and drinks were brought right out to us and then our food was there within 8 minutes or less. We ordered wings and fries. I'm a lover of spicy food and the rooster red sauce has a little kick, but nothing overpowering. The fries are small and some are crispy some floppy. Overall not a bad experience here and will definitely be back to try something other than wings. read more

I've eaten here for years and it's always been hit or miss. Tonight was definitely a miss.We had ridiculously poor customer service. One in our party had ordered a chicken wrap which was too spicy hot to eat. He had even asked the server about its degree of heat. After 2 bites, he was perspiring and asked for a substitute meal or for it to be taken off our check. We had to ask to speak with a manager who was insistent that there was nothing she could do about it. My friend then asked to speak to the owner and was told that wasn't possible either. The manager left and we never saw her again. A woman at the table next to us had spoken up and said she had never seen such horrible treatment by a manager! By the way...there were 7 in our party, so we were going to be spending a good bit there anyway. Finally the server returned with the check with my friend's meal removed, and when my friend tried to say something, she nearly yelled "Just pay and leave!" Indeed we left and will never return!
